EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON INDUCED FLOW VELOCITY OF PLASMA AERODYNAMIC ACTUATION

Plasma flow control is an active flow control technology that based on the plasma aerodynamic actuation. It can be used to enhance the aerodynamic characteristics of aircraft and propulsion systems. To study the phenomena occurring in plasma aerodynamic actuation and the mechanism of plasma flow control, the induced flow velocity of the plasma aerodynamic actuator is experimentally investigated under a variety of parameter conditions. The results indicate that plasma aerodynamic actuation accelerates the near surface air at velocities of a few meters per second, and there is an angle about 5° between the mainstream and the actuator wall and a spiral vortex is formed when the induced flow is moving along the wall. Besides, with the fixed frequency, the induced flow velocity increases linearly with the applied voltage, but it is insensitive to the frequency when the applied voltage is fixed. And the configuration is an effective factor for the performance of the plasma aerodynamic actuator.

The Influence of Fitness Between Message Framing and Audience Regulatory Focus on Green Concern Advertisements Persuasion Effect

This study discusses the application of the regulatory focus of the individual motivation systems to green public service advertisements advocating environmental protection. First, it aims to determine whether the previously proposed regulatory fit theory can be applied to public service advertisements with characteristics different from those of commercial advertisements. Second, it aims to understand how to design messages to achieve the best effect on audiences with different foci. This study takes the regulatory focus theory as the basis and green public service advertisements as the films. After adopting 2 ~ 2 ~ 2 three-factor design to test the interaction relations among the individual regulatory focus, message regulatory focus, and message framing. The results from the 217 college respondents indicate that the audience is influenced by regulatory focus when receiving messages from public service advertisements, which is similar to the influence of commercial advertisements. That is, when audience with a promotion focus, films with promotion focus and positive framing have a best advertisement effect. On the other hand, the audience with a prevention focus, films with prevention focus and negative framing also has a better advertisement effect.

A Motivate Mechanism for Large-Scale P2P Content Delivery System

For lack of effective resource adjustment method, the supply-demand relationship of each resource in P2P content delivery system are often unbalanced. Especially after a popular content releasing, a burst of downloaders often can＇t find sufficient uploaders and their request may starve the upload capacity of server. Therefore the overall system QoS may be degraded. To tackle such issue, this paper proposes a download rate accelerate mechanism, called motivate mechanism. With it, the system can quickly find out the files becoming insufficient by monitoring the operating status of the files hourly, Then it promptly increase the number of copies of those files by using free rider nodes so that the whole system QoS is maintained and the system performance is improved. The experiment results on the practical operating system of Tencent demonstrated that the proposed mechanism increases the download rate, saves the traffic on the server and optimizes the system performance.

Incentives to Invest in Improving Quality in the Telecommunications Industry

This paper investigates the incentives of invest in improving quality （as opposed to investments in new activities） in the telecommunications industry, based on the example of wireless markets. What is the impact of competition on incentives to invest, and on capacities to invest？ What is the role of the rate of penetration and technical progress？ This paper highlights the fact that investment incentives are positively related to potential for technical progress. Investment incentives also depend on market structure, competition intensity, and penetration rate, but not monotonically. This paper consists of a theoretical part which, under assumptions of full market coverage and market share symmetry, shows that for each national market, there is a target level of investment which companies strive to achieve but had not exceeded, and an empirical part that confirms the findings of the theoretical part and explains the differences with the theoretical part by relaxing the assumptions of full coverage and market share symmetry. This target level on the one hand depends on the potential for technical progress and on the other hand, depends on the rate of penetration. From a social perspective, this target level is the best amount that companies are encouraged to invest. Non-achievement of the target level entails underinvestment and a decrease in consumer surplus and welfare and may slow down technical progress. A data set covering 30 countries over a period of eight years is used to empirically prove the existence of a change in investment behavior depending on whether or not the target level is achieved. A low margin per user may hamper achievement of the target level. As a result, maximum consumer surplus and welfare occur under imperfect competition but not under perfect competition.

Institutional Incentives, Game Equilibrium and Social Justice： Toward a Unified Theory of Pure Jurisprudence

This article seeks to make a constructive advance in jurisprudential theory by employing the unified analytical framework of modern social science. We first outline the main ideas of individual rational decision-making and game theory and of social choice and mechanism design, before offering a preliminary discussion of their application to legal issues. The core thesis is that the law in combination with other social norms provides institutional incentives to all actors in society. Legislators＇ social justice objectives can be reasonably enforced only as a result of behavioral equilibrium in the social game.

The Analysis of Newly Gained Feedback Loops After Introducing the Salary-Grade-Incitement System to HR Management

In order to find some effective management policy by the feedback archetypes analysis. To the minimum archetypes generating problem of a complex system, we transform the rate variable fundamental in-tree model of SD to a diagonal-0 branch-vector matrix using the method combining graph theory and algebra. We create the branch vector matrix formula to generate minimum archetypes of the network flow diagram. We solve the problem of how to generate the minimum archetypes of the complex system archetype generating method, and create a SD model of a human resource management in an organization using this new method. We prove that there are 16 new positive feedback loops and 17 negative feedback loops of 2 to 6 order of the HR management that is based on the incitements of performance levels. At the same time, these policies restrain the performance of the organization because of the increasing of cost. By analyze the growth limited structure model, we find the policy of increasing the performance of both the employee and the organization.
