METHODS: The constituents were isolated and purified by silica gel and Sephadex LH-20 column chromatography. The structures were identified on the basis of physical and chemical properties and spectral data. RESULTS: Eight compounds were isolated from the roots of Arenaria juncea. Their structures were identified as friedelin (Ⅰ),arenarine C (Ⅱ),1-acetyl-β-carboline (Ⅲ),methyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate (Ⅳ),tectoridin (Ⅴ),quillaic acid (Ⅵ),β-sitosterol (Ⅶ) and daucosterol (Ⅷ). CONCLUSION: Compounds Ⅰ~Ⅷ have been isolated from this plant for the first time, and compounds Ⅰ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ and Ⅵ have been isolated from Arenaria L. for the first time.展开更多
