The results show that the true stress-true strain curves exhibit a peak stress at a critical strain, then the flow stresses decrease monotonically until high strains, showing a dynamic flow softening. The peak stresses depend on the temperature compensated strain rate, which can be represented by the Zener-Hollomon parameter Z in the hyperbolic-sine equation with hot deformation activation energy of 244.64 kJ/mol for 7056 alloy and 229.75 kJ/mol for 7150 alloy, respectively, while the peak stresses for the former are lower than those for the latter under the similar compression condition. The deformed microstructures consist of a great amount of precipitates within subgrains in the elongated grains at high Z value and exhibit well formed subgrains in the recrystallized grains at low Z value. The smaller subgrains and greater density of fine precipitates in 7150 alloy are responsible for the high peak stresses because of the substructural strengthening and precipitating hardening compared with 7056 alloy.展开更多

The true stress-tree strain curves of alloy hot-compressed in the α+β region exhibit a peak stress followed by continuous flow softening; whereas in the β region, the flow stress attains a steady-state regime. At a strain rate of 10 s^-1 and in a wide temperature range, the alloy exhibits plastic flow instability. First, an optimum steady-state separation configuration conditions are obtained via taking the total annual cost(TAC) or total reboiler heat duty as the objective functions. The results show that about 27.68% and 25.40% saving in TAC can be achieved by the PSD with full and partial heat integration compared to PSD without heat integration. Second, temperature control tray locations are obtained according to the sensitivity criterion and singular value decomposition(SVD) analysis and the single-end control structure is effective based on the feed composition sensitivity analysis. Finally, the comparison of dynamic controllability is made among various control structures for PSD with partial and full heat integration. It is shown that both control structures of composition/temperature cascade and pressure-compensated temperature have a good dynamic response performance for PSD with heat integration facing feed flowrate and composition disturbances. However, PSD with full heat integration performs the poor controllability despite of a little bit of economy.展开更多

The results show that the flow stress increases with increasing strain and tends to be constant after a peak value. The flow stress increases with increasing strain rate and decreases with increasing deformation temperature. The phenomenon of dynamic recovery and dynamic recrystallization can be observed by microstructural evolutions. Based on the hyperbolic Arrhenius-type equation, the true stress-true strain data from the tests were employed to establish the constitutive equation considering the effect of the true strain on material constants (α, β, Q, n and A), which reveals the dependence of the flow stress on strain, strain rate and deformation temperature. The predicted stress-strain curves are in good agreement with experimental results, which confirms that the developed constitutive equations are suitable to research the hot deformation behaviors of Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy.展开更多

In this study, ‘‘green" electrically conductive Ag nanowire (Ag NW)/cellulose nanofiber (CNF) hybrid nanopaper was fabricated to prepare flexible sensors using the facial solution blending and vacuum filtration technique. The amphiphilic property of cellulose is beneficial for the homogeneous dispersion of Ag NW to construct effective electrically conductive networks. Two different types of strain sensors were designed to study their applications in strain sensing. One was the tensile strain sensor where the hybrid nanopaper was sandwiched between two thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) films through hot compression, and special micro-crack structure was constructed through the pre-strain process to enhance the sensitivity. Interestingly, typical pre-strain dependent strain sensing behavior was observed due to different crack densities constructed under different pre-strains. As a result, it exhibited an ultralow detection limit as low as 0.2%, good reproducibility under different strains and excellent stability and durability during 500 cycles (1% strain, 0.5 mm/min). The other was the bending strain sensor where the hybrid nanopaper was adhered onto TPU film, showing stable and recoverable linearly sensing behavior towards two different bending modes (tension and compression). Importantly, the bending sensor displayed great potential for human motion and physiological signal detection. Furthermore, the hybrid nanopaper also exhibited stable and reproducible negative temperature sensing behavior when it was served as a temperature sensor. This study provides a guideline for fabricating flexible and biodegradable sensors.展开更多

Microstructure evolution of ECAE-formed ZK60+RE alloy during reheating was investigated. Furthermore, tensile properties of thixoforged components were determined. The results show that the SIMA process can produce ideal microstructures, and spheroidized solid particles with little entrapped liquid can be obtained. With prolonging holding time, the size of solid particles increases and the degree of spheroidization is improved. The tensile properties of the thixoforged ZK60+RE samples are close to those of two-pass ECAE-formed samples.

文摘The effects of surface roughness, strain rate, friction coefficient and pressure on real contact area were analyzed based on the research of Stupkiewicz. The real contact area model taking account of the effect of friction and deformation of material was obtained. The model of contact conductance at the rolling interface was obtained by integrating the specific feature of heat transfer through the interface of continuous roll-casting. The results indicate that the real contact area increases obviously when the material is under yield, and the real contact area varies inversely with surface roughness, whereas it varies exponentially with friction coefficient, strain rate and pressure, and the power factor depends on strain rate.

文摘The hot deformation behaviors of solution treated Mg-1.8Mn-0.4Er-0.2Al alloys were investigated by means of compression tests on Gleeble-1500 in strain rate range of 0.01-10s-1,deformation temperature range of 250-450℃ and a true strain of 0.6.The constitutive relationships among flow stress, strain rate and deformation temperature were described by Arrhenius-type equations, based on the fact that the material constants could be calculated under a wide range of strains. The results show that the flow stress of the experimental alloy decreases with temperature increasing and strain rate decreasing.Under the experimental conditions, the products of constant α and n in the constitutive equation are stable within certain strains, and the deformation activation energy ranges from 160 to 220 kJ/mol.It is proved that the values of calculated flow stress are close to the experimental results with average error of 2.01%.

文摘The characteristics of hot deformation of an α+β titanium alloy Ti-6.5Al-3.5Mo-1.5Zr-0.3Si with acicular microstructure were studied using isothermal hot compressive tests in a strain rate range of 0.01-10 s^-1 at 860-1 100 ℃. According to the kinetic rate equation, the apparent activation energies are estimated to be about 633 kJ/mol in the α+β region and 281 kJ/mol in the β region, respectively. The processing maps show a domain of the globularization process of a colony structure and α dynamic recrystallization in the temperature range of 860-960 ℃ with a peak efficiency of about 60%, and a domain of β dynamic recrystallization in the β region with a peak efficiency of 80%.
文摘Design and control of pressure-swing distillation(PSD) with different heat integration modes for the separation of methyl acetate/methanol azeotrope are explored using Aspen Plus and Aspen Dynamics. However, PSD with full heat integration performs the poor controllability despite of a little bit of economy.

文摘A Thermecmastor-Z hot deformation simulator, optical microscopy,XRD and TEM were employed to characterize the flow stress behavior and microstructure of twin roll cast ZK60 magnesium alloy during initial stage of hot compression at elevated temperature of 300 ℃ and 400 ℃ and a given strain rate of 10-2s-1.The results suggest that flow stress drop during initial stage of hot compression at 300℃,generally led by dynamic recrystallization,is attributed to twinning, correspondingly to dynamic recrystallization as deformation temperature is raised to 400 ℃.

文摘Effects of heat softening on the initiation of slide surface(shear banding) in clayey slopes during fast deformation were discussed.Controlling equations considering heat, pore pressure and mechanical movement were presented.By perturbation method, the instability condition of localized zone(i.e.criterion for initiation of shear banding) for thermal related soils, such as clayey slope, was obtained. It is shown that slide surface initiates once the thermal-softening effects overcome the strain-hardening effects whether it is adiabatic or not.Without strain hardening effects, strain rate hardening obviously plays a role in initiation of shear band.During initiating process, heat is trapped inside the shear band, which leads rapidly to a pore pressure increase and fast loss of strength. The localized shear strain is concentrated in a narrow zone with a width of several centimeters at most and increases fast. This zone forms the sliding surface.Temperature can increase more than 2?C,pore pressure can increase 160% in about 0.1s inside this zone. These changes cause the fast decrease in friction-coefficient by about 36% over the initial value. That is how shear band initiated and developed in clayey slopes.

文摘Abstract: The hot deformation behaviors of AI-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy were investigated in a temperature range of 340-500℃ and a strain rate range of 0.001-10 s 1 using uniaxial compression test on Gleeble-1500 thermal simulation machine. The predicted stress-strain curves are in good agreement with experimental results, which confirms that the developed constitutive equations are suitable to research the hot deformation behaviors of Al-Zn-Mg-Sc-Zr alloy.

文摘With the rapid development of smart wearable devices, flexible and biodegradable sensors are in urgent needs. This study provides a guideline for fabricating flexible and biodegradable sensors.
