本文通过对小型反应器内气相甲醇催化制二甲醚反应进行数值模拟,探究了在一定的甲醇质量空速下,不同的反应温度对催化剂床层轴径向温度分布的影响。研究结果表明:当甲醇质量空速为1 h-1,反应温度为250℃时,催化剂床层的轴向温度呈抛物... 本文通过对小型反应器内气相甲醇催化制二甲醚反应进行数值模拟,探究了在一定的甲醇质量空速下,不同的反应温度对催化剂床层轴径向温度分布的影响。研究结果表明:当甲醇质量空速为1 h-1,反应温度为250℃时,催化剂床层的轴向温度呈抛物线状分布,并在床层中下部位置处达到最高。该模拟结果与实验结果吻合较好,同时床层各轴向高度上的径向温度分布呈中心高边壁低的分布特征;当甲醇质量空速为1 h-1,反应温度分别为270℃和290℃时,床层的轴向温度分布均呈现入口较低而中间位置温度较高的规律,这与反应温度为250℃的结果相近,同时床层各轴向高度上的径向温度分布均呈边壁高中心低的分布特征,而这与反应温度为250℃时的径向温度分布规律相反。 展开更多

An adaptive state feedback predictive control (SFPC) scheme and an expert control scheme are presented and applied to the temperature control of a 1200 kt·a^-1 delayed coking furnace, which is the key equipment for the delayed coking process. Adaptive SFPC is used to improve the performance of temperature control in normal operation. A simplified nonlinear model on the basis of first principles of the furnace is developed to obtain a state space model by linearization. Taking advantage of the nonlinear model, an online model adapting method is presented to accommodate the dynamic change of process characteristics because of tube coking and load changes. To compensate the large inverse response of outlet temperature resulting from the sudden increase of injected steam of a particular velocity to tubes, a monitoring method and an expert control scheme based on heat balance calculation are proposed. Industrial implementation shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy. 展开更多

It is shown in this article that by changing the initial operation condition of the batch processes, the dynamic performance of the system can be varied largely, especially for the initial operational temperature of the exothermic reaction. The initial operation condition is often ignored in the designing batch processes for flexibility against disturbances or parameter variations. When the initial condition is not rigid as in the case of a batch reactor, where the initial reaction temperature is quite arbitrary, optimization can also be applied to determine the "best" initial condition to use. Problems for dynamic flexibility analysis of exothermic reaction including initial temperature and process operation can be formulated as dynamic optimization problems. Formulations are derived when the initial conditions are considered or not. When the initial conditions are considered, the initial condition can be transferred into control variables in the first optimal step. The solution of the dynamic optimization is on the basis of Rugge-Kutta integration algorithm and decomposition search algorithm. This method, as illustrated and tested with two highly nonlinear process problems, enables the determination of the optimal level. The dynamic performance is improved by the proposed method in the two exothermic reaction examples. 展开更多

In this work,the dynamics and operation of the totally reboiled reactive distillation columns are visualized in terms of transfer function based process models.This kind of processes is found to be characterized by underdamped step responses due to the special topological configuration and the intricate interplay between the reaction operation and the separation operation involved.The under-dampness can be substantially alleviated through the tight inventory control of bottom reboiler and this presents beneficial effects to process dynamics and operation.Two totally reboiled reactive distillation columns,separating,respectively,a hypothetical synthesis reaction from reactants A and B to product C,and a real decomposition reaction from 1,4-butanediol to tetrahydrofuran and water,are employed to demonstrate these uncommon behaviors.The results obtained give full support to the above qualitative interpretation.Despite the strong influences of reaction kinetics and thermodynamic properties of the reacting mixtures,the totally reboiled reactive distillation columns are generally considered to present such unique behaviors and require tight inventory control of bottom reboiler to facilitate their control system development. 展开更多

ZnO micro/nanostructures with various morphologies were grown via hydrothermal etching of Zn foil.Controlling the reaction temperature and time,rod-like,pencil-like,tube-like and flowerlike ZnO micro/nanostructures could be prepared directly on the Zn foil surface at temperatures 100-180℃ with excellent reproducibility.X-ray diffraction patterns indicated that these ZnO micro/nanostructures were hexagonal.Possible mechanisms for the variation of morphology are discussed.Moreover,photoluminescence spectra of the as-grown samples revealed that all of them consist of UV emission band at around 392 nm. 展开更多
