This strategical proposal is made on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the main problems challenges faced by the coal mining industry is made on. The main prob-lems with Chinese coal mining industries discussed include: over-competition with a low convergence, severe waste and loss of mine resources with poor exploitation techniques, disordered operation with few industrial entry barriers, heavy welfare burdens from low socialization. The accession of WTO provide Chinese coal mining industry with chances to push forward the reforms and structural shift in the enterprises, expedite the estab-lishment and perfect of coal mining market mechanism, expand their international market share as well as introduce foreign investment, and with challenges from high technology, knowledge economy, and information revolution. This system combines B/S and C/S toge...According to the analysis of the problem of contract management, financial settlement and placement of coal trucks in coal business, a study is made on the coal management system. This system combines B/S and C/S together, and it also uses three-tire application of ASP.NET which sets up a business subsystem based on functional module management in vehicle. Additionally, MFC solves the problems in weighing management systems. This system goes with unit testing, integration testing, and system testing, and the whole process realizes an effective monitoring from coal trucks applying for delivery, checking in, and weighing to checking out. Besides, it also secures precise and accurate weighing data, and deals with the new coming coal contract in a faster way. The real project indicates this system wins a very good reputation and it is worthy of spreading in a broader context.展开更多

This results in a substantial decline of profits and more operating difficulties in the downstream electric enterprises. The listed companies in both coal supply and power industries have quality assets and are the representatives of these industries. Through the analysis of the financial and operational status of the listed coal supply and power companies since 2007, the reasons for the business development difficulties in the electric power industry were discussed. Recommendations were provided including improving the coal pricing system, increasing the degree of business integration of the coal and electric power industries, and adjusting energy structure.展开更多

To inform the efficient and sustainable development of the coal industry, this paper analyzes the sources of strategic risk for coal science and technology enterprises using 3 first-class indicators, 10 second-level indicators, and 37 observation points established through the existing research literature and experience. Moreover, in accordance to the obtained initial index data, the selected indicators have been tested and screened using reliability and membership degree analyses to remove redundant variables, avoid juxtaposition of risk factors at different levels, and reduce the influ- ence of some tiny risk factors for enterprise strategic risk. Then, factor analysis of external environment factor sub-scale was carried out. Factors are extracted according to a standard characteristic value greater than 1. Variables with high coefficients are classified into one factor category; and finally, 3 first-class indicators. 8 second-level indicators, and 37 observation noints are reconstructed.展开更多
