In this paper, the existing problems in view of biomass fuel operation dominated by tobacco straw in current tobacco leaf flue-curing were analyzed, and the 3 kinds of fuel operation modes ("contracting processing mode, displacement mode and commercialization mode") were put forward, each of which was also briefly analyzed, with the aim to expand the way of thinking about biomass raw materials processing by cooperative organization.展开更多

A detailed mechanism model of output voltage of a MCFC was presented at first. However, this model was too complicated to be used in a control system. Consequently, an off line radial basis function (RBF) network was introduced to build a nonlinear predictive model. And then, the optimal control sequences were obtained by applying golden mean method. The models and controller have been realized in the MATLAB environment. Simulation results indicate the proposed algorithm exhibits satisfying control effect even when the current densities vary largely.展开更多

Main objective of ELI) is...This article presents an application of generalized pattern search (PS) algorithm to solve economic load dispatch (ELD) problems with convex and non-convex fuel cost objective functions. Main objective of ELI) is to determine the most economic generating dispatch required to satisfy the predicted load demands including line losses. Relaxing various equality and inequality constraints are considered. The unit operation minhnum/maximum constraints, effects of valve-point and line losses are considered for the practical applications. Several case studies were tested and verified, which indicate an improvement in total fuel cost savings. The robustness of the proposed PS method have been assessed and investigated through intensive comparisons with reported results in recent researches. The results are very encouraging and suggesting that PS may be very useful tool in solving power system ELD problems.展开更多
In this study,a numerical study based on Euler equations and coupled with detail chemistry model is used to improve the propulsion performance and stability of the rotating detonation engine.The proposed fuel injectio...In this study,a numerical study based on Euler equations and coupled with detail chemistry model is used to improve the propulsion performance and stability of the rotating detonation engine.The proposed fuel injection called stratified injection functions by suppressing the isobaric combustion process occurring on the contact surface between fuel and detonation products,and thus the proportion of fuel consumed by detonation wave increases from 67%to 95%,leading to more self-pressure gain and lower entropy generation.A pre-mixed hydrogen-oxygen-nitrogen mixture is used as a reactive mixture.The computational results show that the propulsion performance and the operation stability of the engine with stratified injection are both improved,the temperature of the flow field is notably decreased,the specific impulse of the engine is improved by 16.3%,and the average temperature of the engine with stratified injection is reduced by 19.1%.展开更多
