The results indicate that the slip displacement sharply increases due to the decrease of normal stress and the increase of shear stress at the fault plane when the working face advances from the footwall to the fault itself, which may induce a fault rock burst. However, this slip displacement will be very small due to the increase of normal stress and the decrease of shear stress when the working face advances from the hanging wall to the fault itself, which results in a very small risk of a fault rock burst.展开更多

Methods One hundred and fourteen patients with 120 thoracolumbar burst fractures were retrospectively reviewed. Pl-ain radiographs were available in all cases; CT scans and MRI were obtained in 96 and 74 cases, respectively. Results A total of 27 burst fractures were misdiagnosed as other types of fractures on radiographs alone, and accounted for 22.5% of all fractures. The results indicated that plain radiographs often fail to delineate the pathological features of thor-acolumbar burst fractures, leading to delay in diagnosis. Conclusion In regard to thoracolumbar injury diagnosis, burst fractures should be differentiated from compression frac-tures. CT should be routinely indicated and MRI examination, when necessary, may be simultaneously considered.展开更多

The optimal standoff and the vertex angle of LSC were studied and determined by lab experiments. Through cutting sand-cement grout samples, the spacing interval of boreholes can approach 17.5 times of the bore-hole' s diameter, and the result of the directional expansion of crack is satisfactory. The result of field experiment indicates cutting effect is very good, the ruggedness in fracture plane is less than 50 mm, the rate of half-hole marks is nearly 100 % , and the crack inspection shows that there is no damage in the internal of the cutting part. All these suggest that the orientation fracture blasting with LSC is a good means in directional fracture controlled blasting and is worth popularizing widely.展开更多

The results show that, on one hand, hard-thick roof will result in high stress concentration on mining surrounding rocks; on the other hand, the breaking of hard-thick roof will lead to mining seismicity, causing dynamic loading effect on coal and rock mass. High stress concentration and dynamic loading combination reaches to the mechanical conditions for the occurrence of rock burst, which will induce rock burst. The mining induced seismic events occurring in the roof breaking act on the mining surrounding rocks in the form of stress wave. The stress wave then has a reflection on the free surface of roadway and the tensile stress will be generated around the free surface. Horizontal vibration of roadway surrounding particles will cause instant changes of horizontal stress of roadway surrounding rocks; the horizontal displacement is directly related to the horizontal stress but is not significantly correlated with the vertical stress; the increase of horizontal stress of roadway near surface surrounding rocks and the release of elastic deformation energy of deep surrounding coal and rock mass are immanent causes that lead to the impact instability of roadway surrounding rocks. The most significant measures for rock burst prevention are controlling of horizontal stress and vibration strength.Key words展开更多

For limestone, when uncoupling coefficient is 3,diameter of holes is 100 mm, the hole distance of water coupling smooth blasting is 2. 3 m. The result is consistent with practice.展开更多

As a charge was exploded, two different radial strain waves were sequentially recorded by a strain gage at a distance of 80 mm from the center of charge. Through the attenuation formula of the maximum compressive strain(εrmax), the distribution of εrmax and its strain rate( ) between the charge and gage were obtained. The effect of the two waves propagating outwards on the radial fracture of surrounding media was discussed. The results show that the two waves are pertinent to the loading of shock energy (Es) and bubble energy (Eb) against concrete surrounding charge, respectively. The former wave lasts for much shorter time than the latter. The peak values of εrmax and of the former are higher than those of the latter, respectively.展开更多

The relieving pressure parameters, technology process and results of springing blasting by boreholes and excavating pockets in the two sides of entry were introduced. It is demonstrated that springing will not be shaped under the condition of single borehole arrangement after exploded, the arrangement by a group, it will make borehole bottom form springing in 0.6-0.8 m in diameter, that convergence of two sides and roof to floor have some increments by using springing blasting for reliving pressure. This kind of method for reliving pressure is not suitable to use in the deep mine, and that the convergence of two sides obviously declined by excavating pocket in two sides, it can be still used in the entry with metal support, while maintenance of entry in deep mines is difficult, and can not be supported by bolt or bolt with wire mesh.展开更多
