Grasping and tracking the domestic research trends and hotspots concerning the patriotic sentiments of museum visitors is conducive to enhancing museum scholars’ examination of the current state of museum research and providing more effective theoretical and practical support. Through the analysis of 377 high-quality research documents on the patriotic sentiments of museum tourists from the CNKI database, this study utilized the CiteSpace software to identify key research hotspots, such as the “new era,” national identity, cultivation, and ideological and political education within the curriculum. The construction of spiritual civilization, technological ambiance, and industry integration were highlighted as significant future trends. Furthermore, the study offers targeted recommendations based on existing issues, including strengthening the promotion of patriotic columns in museums, lowering barriers to professional recruitment, fully utilizing high-potential professionals, actively leveraging university resources, establishing educational “departments,” and fostering museum-school collaborations to cultivate talents with specificity.展开更多
