The results show that the diffusion path in solid-liquid reaction is Ni3Si/(T+γ)/γ/…T/γ/Ni4Zn12Si3/γ/…Ni4Zn12Si3/γ/Ni4Zn12Si3/δ…/Ni4Zn12Si3/δ/liquid-Zn, and the diffusion path in solid-vapor reaction is Ni3Si/θ/(T+γ)/γ/…/T/γ/…T/γ/vapor-Zn. With increasing Zn diffusion flux, the diffusion reaction path moves toward the Zn-rich direction, and the distance from the Ni3Si substrate to the periodic layer pair nearest to the interface decreases. In the initial stage of both reactions,γphase nucleates and grows within T matrix phase at first, and then conjuncts together to form a band to reduce the surface energy. Based on the experimental results and diffusion kinetics analysis, the microstructure differences were compared and the formation mechanism of the periodic layered structure in Ni3Si/Zn system was discussed.展开更多
Electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)driven by sustainable energy has emerged as an attractive route to achieve the target of carbon neutral.Formate is one of the most economically viable products,and ele...Electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)driven by sustainable energy has emerged as an attractive route to achieve the target of carbon neutral.Formate is one of the most economically viable products,and electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR to formate is a promising technology.High-pressure H-cell electrolyzer is easy to operate and allows high CO_(2)solubility for realizing high current density,but the design of highly efficient catalysts for working under high CO_(2)pressures remains challenging.Bismuth-based catalysts exhibit high formate selectivity,but suffer from limited activity.Here,we report a high-performance catalyst,which is derived from BiPO_(4)nanopolyhedrons during electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR to formate in neutral solution under high CO_(2)pressures.A high partial current density of formate(534 mA cm^(−2))and formate formation rate(9.9 mmol h^(−1) cm^(−2))with a formate Faradaic efficiency of 90%have been achieved over BiPO_(4)-derived catalyst at an applied potential of−0.81 V vs.RHE under 3.0 MPa CO_(2)pressure.We discover that BiPO_(4)nanopolyhedrons evolve into metallic Bi nanosheets with rich grain boundaries in electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR under high CO_(2)pressures,and the grain boundaries of the BiPO_(4)-derived catalyst play a vital role in promoting electrocatalytic CO_(2)RR to formate.Our theoretical studies reveal that the charge redistribution occurs at the grain boundaries of Bi surface,and this promotes CO_(2)activation and increases HCOO^(*)intermediate stability,thus making the pathway for CO_(2)RR to formate more selective and energy-favorable.This work not only demonstrates a highly efficient catalyst for CO_(2)RR to formate but also discovers a unique feature of catalyst evolution under high CO_(2)pressures.展开更多

The mixed powders were subjected to spark plasma sintering(SPS) and subsequent h...5.0 vol.% graphene nanoplatelets(GNPs) and aluminum powders were mixed to prepare GNPs/Al composites via high-energy ball milling(HEBM). The mixed powders were subjected to spark plasma sintering(SPS) and subsequent hot extrusion. The microstructure and mechanical properties of extruded composites were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), transmission electron microscopy(TEM) and tensile tests. In the extruded composites, 5.0 vol.% GNPs were dispersed homogeneously and no serious GNP-Al interfacial reaction occurred. As a result, the yield strength and ultimate tensile strength of the extruded GNPs/Al composites reached 462 and 479 MPa, which were 62% and 60% higher than those of the extruded Al matrix, respectively. The enhanced mechanical properties were attributed to the effective load transfer capacity of dispersed GNPs. This demonstrated that it may be promising to introduce dispersed high-content GNPs via HEBM, SPS and hot extrusion techniques and GNP-Al interfacial reaction can be controlled.展开更多

The as-prepared pure BiOCl and SiO2/BiOCl composites were intensively characterized...Novel SiO2/BiOCl composites were fabricated by decorating BiOCl nanosheets with SiO2 nanoparticles via a simple hydrothermal process. The as-prepared pure BiOCl and SiO2/BiOCl composites were intensively characterized by various techniques such as XRD, FT-IR, SEM/TEM, BET, UV-vis, DRS, XPS, and photocurrent measurements. The SiO2/BiOCl composite nanosheets displayed high photocatalytic activity and excellent stability in the degradation of organic pollutants such as phenol, bisphenol A (BPA), and rhodamine B (RhB). With respect to those over bare BiOCl, the degradation rates of RhB, BPA, and phenol over 1.88% SiO2/BiOCl increased 16.5%, 29.0%, and 38.7%, respectively. Radical capturing results suggested that h^+ is the major reactive species and that hydroxyl (·OH) and superoxide (·O2^-) radicals could also be involved in the degradation of organic pollutants. The enhanced photocatalytic performances of SiO2/BiOCl composites can be mainly attributed to the improved texture and the formation of intimate SiO2/BiOCl interfaces, which largely promoted the adsorption of organic pollutants, enhanced the light harvesting, and accelerated the separation of e^– and h^+.展开更多

The survival thermal maximum for L. crocea was 33.0℃, the 50% critical thermal maximum (50% CTMax) was 35.5℃, and the critical thermal maximum (CTMax) was 36.0℃. Three microsatellite markers (LYC0148, LYC0200 and LYC0435), associated with thermal tolerance were screened and identified using a Bulked Segregation Analysis (BSA) method. These markers have six amplified fragments in which four are related to thermal tolerance. These fragments were cloned and sequenced, and the results showed the core motif were all "AC" repeats. For LYC0148 and LYC0200, the lengths of fragments are 18l bp and 197 bp, respectively. For LYC0435, which has two fragments, the fragment lengths are 112 bp and 100 bp. The results provide useful molecular markers for thermal-tolerance breeding of large yellow croaker in the near future.展开更多

To this end,an error boundary intersection approach is presented aiming at the error area determination of complex profile,including the phaseⅠof cross sectional non-rigid registration based on the minimum error area and the phaseⅡof boundary identification based on triangular meshes intersection. It is difficult to determine the optimal weight on bit (WOB) of the double-driven bottomhole assembly (DD-BHA, with double stabilizers and a bent housing positive displacement motor (PDM)) which is employed during ver...It is difficult to determine the optimal weight on bit (WOB) of the double-driven bottomhole assembly (DD-BHA, with double stabilizers and a bent housing positive displacement motor (PDM)) which is employed during vertical and fast drilling. High WOB leads to well deviation out of control, and low WOB leads to low rate of penetration (ROP). So considering the rock physical properties, the anisotropy index function of polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bit was derived with the structure and cutting performance parameters of the bit, and the effect of natural hole deviation tendencies on the performance of DD-BHA resisting deviation was represented. The concept of elliptic deformation ratio was used to characterize the performance of DD-BHA resisting deviation. Eventually, a model calculating the critical WOB was established. By comparing the model predictions with the measured hole angle changes in the field, the results show that the model predictions are accurate with error less than 5.8%, which can meet the operational requirements in the projects. Furthermore, the model was adopted to justify and guide the operating conditions and parameters during drilling, which shows that the optimum WOB predicted by the model can not only control deviation but also improve ROP effectively. The model is independent on the formation characteristics of blocks, so it can be expanded widely to other oilfields.展开更多

Though English as a lingua franca is still the dominant language of the internet, as a result of a growing new trend, namely crowdsourcing translation, knowledge dissemination is further enhanced and is now reaching further into many different cultures, allowing even the so-called minor languages to regain dignity and circulate, by engaging native speakers from different cultural backgrounds. This paper offers an overview on the phenomenon of online edutainment considering the role played by collaborative users who not only enjoy but also create and translate content. The integrated system consists of four major components: l) Microelectrodes and micro-driver assembly, 2) analog front end (AFE), 3) programmable system on chip (PSoC), and 4) ra- dio transceiver and the LabVIEW were used as a platform for the graphic user interface. The result showed the system was able to record and analyze neuronal recordings in freely moving animals and lasted continuously for a time period of a week or more. This is very useful for the study of the interdisciplinary research of neu- roscience and information engineering techniques. The circuits and architecture of the devices can be adapted for neurobiology and research with other small animals.展开更多

The present study deals with flow visualization over concave surface for gas turbine applications. The aim is to comprehend qualitatively the flow trends, particularly the Gortler vortices formation and development. Gortler vortices have the shape of mushroom-like vortices regularly spaced at 25 mm. These vortices grow and increase in strength more rapidly along the surface in the case of the same grid of turbulence applied to the measuring section. The curvature radius of the studied blade is 0.5 m and the stream turbulence intensity level is 2.6%. The velocity field is measured by hot wire anemometer in the streamwise direction. The velocity profile is found to be highly distorted by the momentum transfer associated with Gortler vortices. The results are compared to Blasius flow and to literature data for a blade with curvature radius equal to 2 m.展开更多
To reveal the affecting mechanism of cooling rate on lamellarαprecipitation,the precipitation behaviors of lamellarαphase in IMI834 titanium alloy during isothermal and non-isothermal heat treatments were quantitati...To reveal the affecting mechanism of cooling rate on lamellarαprecipitation,the precipitation behaviors of lamellarαphase in IMI834 titanium alloy during isothermal and non-isothermal heat treatments were quantitatively characterized using experimental analysis.Critical precipitation temperatures at various cooling rates were obtained using thermal dilatation testing.Using metallographic microscopy,electron microprobe analysis,and data fitting methods,the quantitative evolution models of average width,volume fraction,and solute concentration in theαandβphases were built for different temperatures or cooling rates.A comparison between the two precipitation behaviors showed that the average width and volume fraction of lamellarαphase under non-isothermal conditions were smaller than those under isothermal conditions.With increasing cooling rate,the average width and volume fraction were decreased significantly,and the critical precipitation temperatures were reduced.This phenomenon is mainly attributed to the decreased diffusion velocity of solutes Al,Mo,and Nb with increasing cooling rate.展开更多

The neural ...A prototype of hybrid neural recording interface has been developed for extracellular neural recording. It consists of a silicon-based plane microelectrode array and a CMOS low noise neural amplifier chip. The neural amplifier chip is designed and implemented in 0.18 μm N-well CMOS 1P6M technology. The area of the neural preamplifier is only 0.042 mm2 with a gain of 48.3 dB. The input equivalent noise is 4.73 btVrms within pass bands of 4 kHz. To avoid cable tethering for high dense mul- tichannel neural recording interface and make it compact, flip-chip bonding is used to integrate the preamplifier chip and the microelectrode together. The hybrid device measures 3 mm×5.5 mm×330μm, which is convenient for implant or in-vivo neu- ral recording. The hybrid device was testified in in-vivo experiment. Neural signals were recorded from hippocampus region of anesthetized Sprague Dawley rats successfully.展开更多

We mainly analyze...We have studied 172 field-aligned currents (FACs) cases observed by the ClusterlI satellites when they crossed the plasma sheet boundary layer (PSBL) in the magnetotail from July to October 2001. We mainly analyzed the relationship between the characteristic of FACs at the PSBL in magnetotail and the Kp index. The main results indicated the followings: 1) In the different geomagnetic activity levels, the relative occurrence of FACs in PSBL increased monotonically with geomagnetic activity. 2) The density of FACs in PSBL increased monotonically with Kp index. In the storm main phase, the density of FACs increased dramatically, the maximum FACs approximately equaled 19.05 nA m-2 while Kp equaled 5.3) The variation of FACs density in PSBL was consistent with the variation of the Kp index. However, when AE〈800 nT, FACs density in PSBL increased with increasing AE, and when AE〉800 nT, it decreased with increasing AE. Therefore, our results suggested that the FACs density in PSBL had a closer correlation with Kp index.展开更多

文摘It is difficult to determine the optimal weight on bit (WOB) of the double-driven bottomhole assembly (DD-BHA, with double stabilizers and a bent housing positive displacement motor (PDM)) which is employed during vertical and fast drilling. High WOB leads to well deviation out of control, and low WOB leads to low rate of penetration (ROP). So considering the rock physical properties, the anisotropy index function of polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) bit was derived with the structure and cutting performance parameters of the bit, and the effect of natural hole deviation tendencies on the performance of DD-BHA resisting deviation was represented. The concept of elliptic deformation ratio was used to characterize the performance of DD-BHA resisting deviation. Eventually, a model calculating the critical WOB was established. By comparing the model predictions with the measured hole angle changes in the field, the results show that the model predictions are accurate with error less than 5.8%, which can meet the operational requirements in the projects. Furthermore, the model was adopted to justify and guide the operating conditions and parameters during drilling, which shows that the optimum WOB predicted by the model can not only control deviation but also improve ROP effectively. The model is independent on the formation characteristics of blocks, so it can be expanded widely to other oilfields.
文摘The online world is becoming more and more edutainment, where learning, getting informed and entertained seem to be part of one and the same activity. As a result of this current fascination, people are drawn increasingly towards a new genre, i.e. free online 20-minute long lectures that borrow from film and storytelling techniques, that are offering an engaging series of speeches and even courses in many different scientific subjects. Though English as a lingua franca is still the dominant language of the internet, as a result of a growing new trend, namely crowdsourcing translation, knowledge dissemination is further enhanced and is now reaching further into many different cultures, allowing even the so-called minor languages to regain dignity and circulate, by engaging native speakers from different cultural backgrounds. This paper offers an overview on the phenomenon of online edutainment considering the role played by collaborative users who not only enjoy but also create and translate content. In addition, a case study focused on TED Talks allows a more in depth analysis of the new genre and the increasing need for subtitling scripts.

文摘In this paper, the positional error curve of point features was extended to an error curves band of line segment features. Firstly, the constitution and shape of the error curves band were analyzed. On this basis, the general boundary curve formula of that band was derived. Secondly, the visualizing error curves bands were realized through three exam- ples. Finally,area index has been examined by comparing numerical results from error curves band and error ellipes band.

文摘To collect neuronal activity data from awake, freely behaving animals, we developed miniature telemetry recording system. The integrated system consists of four major components: l) Microelectrodes and micro-driver assembly, 2) analog front end (AFE), 3) programmable system on chip (PSoC), and 4) ra- dio transceiver and the LabVIEW were used as a platform for the graphic user interface. The result showed the system was able to record and analyze neuronal recordings in freely moving animals and lasted continuously for a time period of a week or more. This is very useful for the study of the interdisciplinary research of neu- roscience and information engineering techniques. The circuits and architecture of the devices can be adapted for neurobiology and research with other small animals.
文摘Gortler vortices are key issues in the design of gas turbine blades. The present study deals with flow visualization over concave surface for gas turbine applications. The aim is to comprehend qualitatively the flow trends, particularly the Gortler vortices formation and development. Gortler vortices have the shape of mushroom-like vortices regularly spaced at 25 mm. These vortices grow and increase in strength more rapidly along the surface in the case of the same grid of turbulence applied to the measuring section. The curvature radius of the studied blade is 0.5 m and the stream turbulence intensity level is 2.6%. The velocity field is measured by hot wire anemometer in the streamwise direction. The velocity profile is found to be highly distorted by the momentum transfer associated with Gortler vortices. The results are compared to Blasius flow and to literature data for a blade with curvature radius equal to 2 m.

文摘To reveal the affecting mechanism of cooling rate on lamellarαprecipitation,the precipitation behaviors of lamellarαphase in IMI834 titanium alloy during isothermal and non-isothermal heat treatments were quantitatively characterized using experimental analysis.Critical precipitation temperatures at various cooling rates were obtained using thermal dilatation testing.Using metallographic microscopy,electron microprobe analysis,and data fitting methods,the quantitative evolution models of average width,volume fraction,and solute concentration in theαandβphases were built for different temperatures or cooling rates.A comparison between the two precipitation behaviors showed that the average width and volume fraction of lamellarαphase under non-isothermal conditions were smaller than those under isothermal conditions.With increasing cooling rate,the average width and volume fraction were decreased significantly,and the critical precipitation temperatures were reduced.This phenomenon is mainly attributed to the decreased diffusion velocity of solutes Al,Mo,and Nb with increasing cooling rate.

文摘The conditions for G1 continuity between two adjacent bicubic B-spline surfaces with double interior knots along their common boundary curve are obtained in this paper, which are directly represented by the control points of the two B-spline surfaces. As stated by Shi Xi-quan and Zhao Yan, a local scheme of constructing G1 continuous B-spline surface models with single interior knots does not exist; we may achieve a local scheme of (true) G1 continuity over an arbitrary B-spline surface network using these conditions.

文摘A prototype of hybrid neural recording interface has been developed for extracellular neural recording. It consists of a silicon-based plane microelectrode array and a CMOS low noise neural amplifier chip. The neural amplifier chip is designed and implemented in 0.18 μm N-well CMOS 1P6M technology. The area of the neural preamplifier is only 0.042 mm2 with a gain of 48.3 dB. The input equivalent noise is 4.73 btVrms within pass bands of 4 kHz. To avoid cable tethering for high dense mul- tichannel neural recording interface and make it compact, flip-chip bonding is used to integrate the preamplifier chip and the microelectrode together. The hybrid device measures 3 mm×5.5 mm×330μm, which is convenient for implant or in-vivo neu- ral recording. The hybrid device was testified in in-vivo experiment. Neural signals were recorded from hippocampus region of anesthetized Sprague Dawley rats successfully.

文摘We have studied 172 field-aligned currents (FACs) cases observed by the ClusterlI satellites when they crossed the plasma sheet boundary layer (PSBL) in the magnetotail from July to October 2001. We mainly analyzed the relationship between the characteristic of FACs at the PSBL in magnetotail and the Kp index. The main results indicated the followings: 1) In the different geomagnetic activity levels, the relative occurrence of FACs in PSBL increased monotonically with geomagnetic activity. 2) The density of FACs in PSBL increased monotonically with Kp index. In the storm main phase, the density of FACs increased dramatically, the maximum FACs approximately equaled 19.05 nA m-2 while Kp equaled 5.3) The variation of FACs density in PSBL was consistent with the variation of the Kp index. However, when AE〈800 nT, FACs density in PSBL increased with increasing AE, and when AE〉800 nT, it decreased with increasing AE. Therefore, our results suggested that the FACs density in PSBL had a closer correlation with Kp index.
文摘We define a new Markov chain on the symbolic space representing the Sierpinski gasket (SG),and show that the corresponding Martin boundary is homeomorphic to the SG while the minimal Martin boundary is the three vertices of the SG.In addition,the harmonic structure induced by the Markov chain coincides with the canonical one on the SG.This suggests another approach to consider the existence of Laplacians on those self-similar sets for which the problem is still not settled.
