石油大学(北京)化工专业本科从96级开始实施教学改革,在大学一年级第二学期开设物理化学(上),第三学期开设物理化学(下),共90授课学时。此项改革意在简化课程设置,提高后续课程水平,使学生从大学化学课程的一开始就系统地接受化学理论;... 石油大学(北京)化工专业本科从96级开始实施教学改革,在大学一年级第二学期开设物理化学(上),第三学期开设物理化学(下),共90授课学时。此项改革意在简化课程设置,提高后续课程水平,使学生从大学化学课程的一开始就系统地接受化学理论;腾出学时增设统计力学和结构化学课程。试点证明:经适当调整课程内容,加强辅导,在一年级开设物理化学课程是可行的。教学效果检查表明;学生反映良好,教学效果与过去在二年级第二学期开设物化课程时相仿。 课程设置改革的必要性 当今化学的发展,对化学过程的认识已逐步由宏观进入微观,许多与化学有关的新学科、新理论的出现,很多已超出了原四大化学课程所涵盖的范围,迫切要求本科毕业生具有较广泛的化学领域知识,系统地掌握认识和解决化学问题的方法。 展开更多

In this paper, the physical education information teaching design system is researched and developed based on VB6.0 optimization platform. According to the national physical education and health course standards and the fundamental theories of the constructivisrn, the author adopts the modular-design development method to design two functional areas which are the displaying of the teaching design contents and the online information database (nine modules in total) on the basis of the P.E. teaching design flow. Importantly, this system features the compatibility, scalability and practical applicability, and can effectively improve the ability of P.E. teachers to design their teaching, and hence provides a guarantee for the improvement of teaching quality and efficiency. 展开更多

Phillip Zarrilli is an acting teacher whose pedagogy incorporates the Asian disciplines of hatha yoga, kalarippayattu, and t 'ai chi ch 'uan. His intercultural pedagogy would be best labeled as "psychophysical" based on his own assertions and when bearing in mind the traditions that he considers most personally influential, all of which have intercultural elements, both Western and Asian. This paper examines Zarrilli's personal origins, his pedagogy, his teaching influences, and his legacy based on his artistic progeny. Information was gathered through interviews, personal observation, on-site participation, and literature. The subjects of these analyses were: the disciplines of Asian origin relevant to Zarrilli's pedagogy; how his teaching influences his students; Zarrilli's personal development from university to his present international teaching, directing, and writing; his past and current projects; and what his work means today. 展开更多

One of the challenges in foreign language teaching, specifically teaching listening skill, is to create a low-anxiety classroom environment, since many learners believe listening induces anxiety. This study compares learners' anxiety in two different classrooms in which learners were instructed by two forms of artifacts: materializing and verbalizing. The Foreign Language Listening Anxiety Scale (FLLAS) scores before and after a 13-week experimental treatment course were used to compare learners' anxiety before and after receiving intervention by two means. In this study, the lower score of anxiety was for the group which did verbalization practice in the class; however, both groups showed the same performance on listening test. 展开更多

Institutions of higher education is an academic heritage, culture, communication, personnel training platform and carrier, we assume an important role in the protection of heritage and ink art. Modem design teaching is in order to better local cultural heritage, but also to change their design education, more and more traditional elements are used in the classroom student design works. This paper aims to cultural connotations of traditional Chinese ink painting itself carrying elements and aesthetic charm of the excavation, analysis and sorting, which will be teaching in their designs into modem art. Recently more and more people talk about "globalization" with loads of semasiological variety: mainly economic but also cultural. Many perceive it as a significant progress, others as an undisputed threat. However, despite the euphoria that faces this phenomenon, globalization is an evolving process. The fact remains that this is a progressive development of economic, scientific, political, and cultural aspects of all peoples of planet Earth turning it into a big city with many differences, in particular in education and educational activities. This paper will try to illuminate fundamental issues as: (1} understanding the notion of globalization in relation to both pedagogical principles in the field: the integrity and completeness; (2) elements of globalization, as a necessary process and development factor; and (3) "education for all" challenges for the twenty-first century. The content of global education in the scientific publication is given analytical processing, linking globalization in education with the development of democracy and human rights, global ethics, the influence of European norms, standards and the global world, the impact of European and world norms and standards, as well as the penetration of global civic cultural elements. 展开更多
