It was composed of adjustable screw, stirrer, metering device housing and cent...Based on the mechanical and physical properties study of forage grass seeds, multi-line with one-device type metering device was designed. It was composed of adjustable screw, stirrer, metering device housing and central metering sheave and so on. The sowing rate can be set by turning the screw to change the working length of the central metering sheave relative to the metering device housing. The stirrer inside of the sheave housing is used to prevent seeds overhead. And metering of different sizes of seed is adjusted by changing the position of internal components of the slot wheel mechanism. Innovative design on the structure of the central metering sheave was finished. According to the structure parameters and physical characteristic parameters, different seed sowing rate of per hectares was calculated. And then the working length scale of the central metering groove wheel was made. And there is a one-to-one correspondence between scale values and sowing quantity per hectare of different kinds of seed.展开更多

In this study, the impact of the physic...Gasification efficiency is an important factor that determines the actual technical operation as well as the economic viability of using a gasifier system for energy production. In this study, the impact of the physical properties of torrefied bagasse and the influence of gasifier design and operating variables were investigated in a computer simulated downdraft gasification system. Results obtained from the study indicated an interrelationship between feedstock characteristics, especially with regard to feed size, design variables such as throat angle and throat diameter as well as gasifier operating conditions such as temperature of input air and feed input. These variables influenced the efficiency of the gasification process of sugarcane bagasse because of increased enhancement of combustion zone reactions, which liberated huge amount of heat that led to a rise in the temperature of the gasification process. This condition also created increased tar cracking within the gasification system, contributing to reduction in the overall yield of tar.展开更多

High amounts of dry solids and fats complicate the measurement with an MID (Magnetic-Inductive) flowmeter and make it susceptible to faults. To overcome this impediment, the waste water treatment plant in Innsbruck, Austria, relies on electromagnetic pulsed AC (Alternating Current) flowmeters. Compared to pulsed DC (Direct Current) devices, AC devices are able to build up magnetic fields that are ten times stronger. Equipped with this capability, the Sitrans Transmag 2 is able to guarantee a constant and also high measuring accuracy, zero point stability and signal strength regardless of impurities in the medium or fluctuations in the magnetic field.展开更多
