从“象—形—意”到“物—符—音”:壮族“坡芽歌书”符号文化演绎之路向

符号是人类文化的产物,符号文化是人类对外界认知的凝练表达。壮族"坡芽歌书"作为人创造并使用符号的活范本,被壮族人民赋予了特有的文化价值意蕴。壮族人民通过在生产生活情境中"取象、构形、表意"实现着对符号的认知,实践中将"物—符—音"巧妙结合完成群体成员对符号的掌握与运用,实现了符号原生、次生及其衍生内容的播化。进而从"象—形—意"到"物—符—音"的符号创生方式也成为壮族"坡芽歌书"符号文化演绎的路向,对壮族的生产生活等方方面面产生着重要影响。

汉字发展史研究的新进展——“词符化”理论对汉字发展本质的探索

"词符化"理论的提出是基于汉字研究的根本目的和发展现实的需要。该理论致力于对汉字发展演变基本动因与机制的解释,以"物符"和"词符"概括古今汉字形体的性质,指出汉字实现古今转变的本质是由"物符"向"词符"的转变,同时又提出"图像补充"和"音义参构"的思想来区分转变过程中出现的过渡现象。此理论对汉字发展演变的探讨具有解释性、整体性、全局性等特点。

消费时代的社会美学

无论在国内或国外,美学的沉寂都是一个事实。美学的复兴当在于积极回应当代社会的变迁。由于审美现代派的巨大影响,“美学”一直处在与“社会”的尖锐对抗之中。而今,由于以“物符”为标志的“消费社会”的到来,原本便具有文化向度的“社会”就显在地“文化”化了,它是符号化,同时也是美学化,这种符号—美学借助于无所不及的商品逻辑和电子媒介取得了空前的社会化,于是一个普遍的“美学社会”已赫然在目。这意味着,如果文学研究仍然可以被界定为与“社会”相关的一种“美学”研究的话,那么“社会美学”将是它不得不认真面对的新的理论图景。换言之,这就是文艺学与美学的新的相关性。

消费社会与自然问题

"消费社会"是波德里亚是作为一个理论概念而非一个事实描述提出来的,其特点是以"物符"为标志,这与他后来提出的"拟像"和"超现实"具有一脉相承的关系。本文从这一概念出发,指出消费社会是自然的丧失和个人性的磨灭。而后又超越波德里亚,引入马尔库塞的"生产"维度,指出,在整个资本主义生产和流通体系中,波德里亚所控诉的广告拟像,不过是生产、技术和商品这些真正凶手的替罪羊。马尔库塞对生产和技术所发起的意识形态批判或可能较波德里亚的符号论批判更加透入资本主义反人性、反自然的本质。

Darboux Transformation and Grammian Solutions for Nonisospectral Modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili Equation with Symbolic Computation

In the present paper, under investigation is a nonisospectral modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation, which is shown to have two Painleve branches through the Painleve analysis. With symbolic computation, two Lax pairs for such an equation are derived by applying the generalized singular manifold method. Furthermore, based on the two obtained Lax pairs, the binary Darboux transformation is constructed and then the N-th-iterated potential transformation formula in the form of Grammian is also presented.

Hermitian Operators Conjugate to Two-Mode Number-Difference Operator Studied in Entangled State Representation

In similar to the derivation of phase angle operator conjugate to the number operator by Arroyo Carrasco-Moya Cessay we deduce the Hermitian phase operators that are conjugate to the two-mode number-difference operatorand the three-mode number combination operator.It is shown that these operators are on the same footing in theentangled state representation as the one of Turski in the coherent state representation.

Relativistic Spin Operators

A systematic theory on the appropriate spin operators for the relativistic states is developed. For a massive relativistic particle with arbitrary nonzero spin, the spin operator should be replaced with the relativistic one, which is called in this paper as moving spin. Further the concept of moving spin is discussed in the quantum field theory. A new operator, field quanta spin is defined and in terms of the generators of Poincaré group the moving spin of field system is constructed. It is shown that, in virtue of the two operators, problems in quantum field concerned spin can be neatly settled.

Optimization and Quality Characters of Protein Enriched Pasta

The response surface methodology （Box-behnken design） was acknowledged for the production of optimized protein enriched pasta. Studied responses （protein, overall acceptability, hue angle and hardness） resulted to high protein pasta. The optima were at 12.5%,5 mung bean, 10% whey protein concentrate and 6% egg albumen in combination. Best combination of protein source and their respective level for high protein pasta on the quality evaluation basis were mung bean （15%） ＋ whey protein concentrate （10%）; mung bean （15%） ＋ egg albumen （6%）; mung bean （15%） ＋ whey protein concentrate （10%） ＋ egg albumen （6%）. Hue angle and Hardness remained within acceptable range. Model adequacy was supported with lack of fit test. Enriched protein pasta had excellent cooking and sensory quality during storage period of 4 months. ERH value ranged from 34-36 per cent had supported the results. Rheological properties and good storage behaviour （4 months） had also enhanced the quality of optimized protein enriched pasta. Enriched pasta was rated excellent by 70 per cent of the consumers in mass acceptability trials.

Conservation Laws and Soliton Solutions for Generalized Seventh Order KdV Equation

With the assistance of the symbolic computation system Maple,rich higher order polynomial-type conservation laws and a sixth order t/x-dependent conservation law are constructed for a generalized seventh order nonlinear evolution equation by using a direct algebraic method.From the compatibility conditions that guaranteeing the existence of conserved densities,an integrable unnamed seventh order KdV-type equation is found.By introducing some nonlinear transformations,the one-,two-,and three-solition solutions as well as the solitary wave solutions are obtained.

Comparison of Early Jurassic flora from South Primorye of Russia with its main coeval floras of China

The Early Jurassic flora,with over 42 species of 26 genera and documented in age by sandwiched marine beds,from the Lower Jurassic Schitukhe Formation of South Primorye,Russia,is further reported.The flora is dominated by cycadophytes,ferns and conifers,with some of ginkgoales and czekanowskiales,and characterized by occurrence of Cycadocarpidium,with very rare Coniopteris.A comparison of this flora with its coeval Early Jurassic floras of China is discussed.The Russian flora is considered as the early assemblage of Early Jurassic flora,and more similar to the Early Jurassic floras from the Shansonggang-and Yihe formations of Jilin,Beipiao Formation of Liaoning,and lower-middle Guanyintan Formation of Hunan in China.

Authentication based on feature of hand-written signature

The typical features of the coordinate and the curvature as well as the recorded time information were analyzed in the hand-written signatures.In the hand-written signature process 10 biometric features were summarized:the amount of zero speed in direction x and direction y,the amount of zero acceleration in direction x and direction y,the total time of the hand-written signatures,the total distance of the pen traveling in the hand-written process,the frequency for lifting the pen,the time for lifting the pen,the amount of the pressure higher or lower than the threshold values.The formulae of biometric features extraction were summarized.The Gauss function was used to draw the typical information from the above-mentioned biometric features,with which to establish the hidden Markov mode and to train it.The frame of double authentication was proposed by combing the signature with the digital signature.Web service technology was applied in the system to ensure the security of data transmission.The training practice indicates that the hand-written signature verification can satisfy the needs from the office automation systems.

From Chaos to Qualia： An Analysis of Phenomenal Character in Light of Process Philosophy and Self-Organizing Systems

The author will propose that qualia--typically understood as the purely subjective and phenomenal elements of experience--are not specifically brain processes, but are instead best thought of as world processes that can be characterized as distributed self-organizing networks of Whiteheadian actual entities. If this is correct, then we need not wrestle with the materialist＇s ＂hard problem＂ of explaining how consciousness can arise from the purely objective particles and forces of fundamental ptiysics, but we will need to explain in what sense microparticles and other physical objects are experiential and objectively real without embracing panpsychism. Since Whiteheadian actual entities have intrinsic natures grounding the subjective and phenomenal aspects of experience, and extrinsic relations grounding objective physical properties, we find that qualia, understood in light of Whiteheadian actual entities, can provide the metaphysical foundations for both the subjective and objective aspects of the world.

Davenant＇s The Siege of Rhodes： Islam, Heroism and Solyman the Magnificent

This study is concerned with William Davenant＇s dramatization of Solyman the Magnificent as an ideal man of war and peace. The structure of the play and characters are designed to reveal Solyman＇s honorable character. In the introduction, the author reviews the critical history of The Siege of Rhodes （1661）. The section ＂The Siege＂ is concerned with the Sultan＇s attitude to war and his behavior towards his foes, which is marked by ambition and valor. In the section ＂Victory＂, the author traces Solyman＇s generosity and mercy towards the defeated Rhodians. Ianthe and Alphonso dominate the ＂Characters＂ sections, which reveal how both characters play a central role in stressing Solyman＇s honorable conduct in war and peace. The dramatic centre of the play, as highlighted by the author, is Solyman＇s honorable character. With such dramatization Davenant departs from the conventional presentation of Turks as moral and political transgressors.

Symbolic Computations and Exact and Explicit Solutions of Some Nonlinear Evolution Equations in Mathematical Physics

With the aid of symbolic computation system Mathematica, several explicit solutions for Fisher＇s equation and CKdV equation are constructed by utilizing an auxiliary equation method, the so called G′/G-expansion method, where the new and more general forms of solutions are also constructed. When the parameters are taken as special values, the previously known solutions are recovered.

Understanding IT Artefacts with Language

Every day we experience relationships with artefacts, which describe material objects made by humans in order to reach a goal and exploit the human feature to plan ahead. Artefacts bring together cognitive evolution and technical enhancement. Although artefacts are conceived as technical, we are now facing a relationship with Information Technology （IT） artefacts. IT artefacts include both hardware and software, as a two-sided entity. The definition of IT artefact corresponds with the Saussurean linguistic sign： a two-sided entity constituted by the signifier （hardware） and the signified （software）. I claim that IT artefacts share this ontological trait with the linguistic sign. I will show that IT artefacts are the result of design and planning, while language--which is an institution--is not the fabrication of one human but linked to collective human activity.

ASYMPTOTIC STABILITY AND RIESZ BASIS PROPERTY FOR TREE-SHAPED NETWORK OF STRINGS

This paper discusses the asymptotic stability and Riesz basis generation for a general tree-shaped network of vibrating strings. All exterior vertices are assumed to be fixed and interior vertices are imposed linear damping feedbacks. This paper shows that the system is well-posed and asymptotically stable by C0-semigroup theory. With some additional conditions, the spectrum of the system is shown to be located in a strip that is parallel to the imaginary axis and the set of all generalized eigenfunctions is completed in the state space. These lead to the conclusion that there is a sequence of generalized eigenfunctions of the system, which forms a Riesz basis with parenthesis for the state space.

The Critical Dimension and Power of Social Semiotics:An Examination from the Perspective of Historical Materialism

Marx’s profound analysis of such social signs as commodity,money,and capital shows that inversion and negation are universal and rule-governed social signs and that social signs attain historical characteristics in certain social formations.The basic contradiction arising from human practice,i.e.,their contradictory movement of objectification and nonobjectification,is determined by the dialectical nature of practice,that is,by the relationship of negativity as a medium,and is the concrete expression of the dialectics of negativity in signs.The critique of social semiotics from the perspective of historical materialism is based on practice and reality,and points to the future;it is revolutionary and constructive.At present,the scientific construction of social semiotics can not only promote the development of semiotics,but can also be an important step in deepening historical materialism.

A Schwarz Lemma at the Boundary of Hilbert Balls

In this paper, the authors prove a general Schwarz lemma at the boundary for the holomorphic mapping f between unit balls B and B＇ in separable complex Hilbert spaces H and H＇, respectively. It is found that if the mapping f ∈ C^1＋α at z0 ∈ B with f（zo） = wo ∈ OB＇, then the Fr＆het derivative operator Df（z0） maps the tangent space Tz0（ B^n） to Tw0（ B＇）, the holomorphic tangent space Tz0^（1,0） to Tw0（1,0）（ B＇）,respectively.

An Interacting Gauge Field Theoretic Model for Hodge Theory: Basic Canonical Brackets

We derive the basic canonical brackets amongst the creation and annihilation operators for a two(1 + 1)-dimensional(2D) gauge field theoretic model of an interacting Hodge theory where a U(1) gauge field(Aμ) is coupled with the fermionic Dirac fields(ψ andˉψ). In this derivation, we exploit the spin-statistics theorem, normal ordering and the strength of the underlying six infinitesimal continuous symmetries(and the concept of their generators) that are present in the theory. We do not use the definition of the canonical conjugate momenta(corresponding to the basic fields of the theory) anywhere in our whole discussion. Thus, we conjecture that our present approach provides an alternative to the canonical method of quantization for a class of gauge field theories that are physical examples of Hodge theory where the continuous symmetries(and corresponding generators) provide the physical realizations of the de Rham cohomological operators of differential geometry at the algebraic level.
