通过分析人眼对不同图像类型块的敏感度和支持向量回归(SVR)的特性,提出了一种基于块内容和SVR的图像质量评价模型。该模型首先根据图像子块的交流能量的关系,自适应地把图像分成边缘块、纹理块和平坦块3种类型;接着对不同类型块... 通过分析人眼对不同图像类型块的敏感度和支持向量回归(SVR)的特性,提出了一种基于块内容和SVR的图像质量评价模型。该模型首先根据图像子块的交流能量的关系,自适应地把图像分成边缘块、纹理块和平坦块3种类型;接着对不同类型块的失真程度采用图像块质量评价方法进行度量,得到图像各类型块的质量分数;其后利用SVR来学习3种类型块的质量分数与主观评价值的关系;最后用训练好的SVR完成图像质量预测。在实验过程中,图像各类型块失真程度评价采用了奇异值分解(SVD)方法、方向投影(DP)方法和投影能量(PE)方法。从实验结果可以得到,该模型克服了图像3种类型子块质量分数的权值讨论,从而使SVD方法、DP方法和PE方法的评价性能得到了有效提高,这表明该模型对图像块质量评价方法性能提高具有一定的普适性。 展开更多

An integrated approach is proposed to investigate the fuzzy multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) problems, where subjective preferences are expressed by a pairwise comparison matrix on the relative weights of attributes and objective information is expressed by a decision matrix. An eigenvector method integrated the subjective fuzzy preference matrix and objective information is proposed. Two linear programming models based on subjective and objective information are introduced to assess the relative importance weights of attributes in an MADM problem. The simple additive weighting method is utilized to aggregate the decision information, and then all the alternatives are ranked. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the feasibility and effectiveness of the method. The result shows that it is easier than other methods of integrating subjective and objective information. 展开更多

Three elementary primitives for a 2×2 pixel grid were defined. The complex primitives were computed by matrix transforms. These primitives and equivalence class were used for an image to compute the feature image that consisted of three elementary primitives. Histogram was used for the transformed image to extract and describe the features. Furthermore, comparisons were made among the novel histogram descriptor, the gray histogram and the edge histogram with regard to feature vector dimension and retrieval performance. The experimental results show that the novel histogram can not only reduce the effect of noise and illumination change, but also compute the feature vector of lower dimension. To investigate the influence of confining pressure and pore water pressure on strength characteristics,energy storage state and energy release intensity at peak failure of deep sandstone,a series of triaxial compression tests under hydraulic coupling conditions are carried out.By analyzing the process of rock deformation and failure,the stress thresholds of the rock are obtained.The change trend of total energy density,elastic energy density and dissipated energy density of deep sandstone in the pre-peak stage is obtained by the graphical integration method.By comparing the dynamic energy storage level of rocks under different confining pressures,the influence of pore water pressure on the energy dissipation at stress thresholds of crack closure stress,crack initiation stress,crack damage stress and peak stress is analyzed.Based on the ratio of pre-peak total energy density to post-peak total energy density,the interaction mechanism of confining pressure and pore water pressure for the rock burst proneness of deep sandstone is studied.The experimental results show that the peak stress of sandstone increases with the increase of confining pressure,while the existence of pore water pressure can weaken the peak stress of sandstone.In the stress stage from crack closure stress to peak stress,the dynamic energy storage level of rock presents a trend of the inverse“check mark”.Meanwhile,the larger the confining pressure,the higher the energy storage level of rock.However,the pore water pressure increases the degree of energy dissipation of rock and reduces the energy storage capacity of rock,and the degree of dissipation is linear with pore water pressure.The increase of confining pressure aggravates the instability and failure of deep sandstone,while pore water pressure has the opposite effect.The research results will provide necessary data support for the stability analysis of rock mass excavation in sandstone stratum under high stress and high pore water pressure. 展开更多

We find that the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy is the largest entropy in topology by taking into account of the relationship between the entropy and the Euler characteristic. The NUT-Kerr- Newman black hole evolves from the torus-like topological structure to the spherical structure with the changes of mass, angular momentum, electric and NUT charges. In this process, the Euler characteristic and the entropy are changed discontinuously, which give the topological aspect of the first-order phase transition of NUT-Kerr-Newman black hole. The corresponding latent heat of the topological phase transition is also obtained. The estimated latent heat of the black hole evolving from the star just lies in the range of the energy of gamma ray bursts. 展开更多

Taking the intrinsic decoherence effect into account, the entanglement ofa two-qubit anisotropic Heisenberg XYZ chain in the presence of the Dzyaloshinski Moriya (DM) anisotropic antisymetric interaction is investigated in this paper. Concurrence, the measurement of entanglement, is calculated. Compared with the anisotropic in XY plane, the DM interaction is another kind of anisotropic antisymmetrie exchange interaction. It is shown that the intrinsic decoherence obviously suppresses the time evolution of the entanglement. The DM interaction only acts on the time evolution of the entanglement when the initial state is [ψ(0)〉 = cosα|01〉 + sinα|10〉 and weakens the degree of entanglement. The anisotropic in XY plane merely impacts on the time evolution of the entanglement when the system & initially in a state |ψ(0)〉 = cos α|00〉 + sin α|11 〉. The sufficiently weak anisotropic in XY plane can effectively enhance the degree of entanglement. 展开更多

In this paper,we propose a novel approach to recognise human activities from a different view.Although appearance-based recognition methods have been shown to be unsuitable for action recognition for varying views,there must be some regularity among the same action sequences of different views.Selfsimilarity matrices appear to be relative stable across views.However,the ability to effectively realise this stability is a problem.In this paper,we extract the shape-flow descriptor as the low-level feature and then choose the same number of key frames from the action sequences.Self-similarity matrices are obtained by computing the similarity between any pair of the key frames.The diagonal features of the similarity matrices are extracted as the highlevel feature representation of the action sequence and Support Vector Machines(SVM) is employed for classification.We test our approach on the IXMAS multi-view data set.The proposed approach is simple but effective when compared with other algorithms. 展开更多

In this work, the stability of an endoreversible Curzon-Ahlbom engine is analyzed, using Van der Waals gas as a working substance and the corresponding efficiency for this engine working at temperatures withinthe maximum ecological regime. By mean s of a local stability analysis we find that a critical point of an almost linear system is stable andanalytically expressed in eigenvalues. After an arbitrarily small perturbation, the system state exponentially decays to a critical point, with either of two characteristic relaxation times, which are a function of the thermal conductance (a), heat capacity (C) and T=T2/T1. The behavior of relaxation times and solution of the systems are qualitatively shown by sketching its phase portrait, which results susceptible to operating regimes, i.e., the eigenvectors in the maximum ecological regime have a clockwise rotation with respect to the eigenvectors in the regime of maximumpower. Finally, it has to observe that afterto λvw = 1, approximation,ηVWE=4^-3ηC is obtained, where ηVWE is the Van der Waals efficiency atrnaximum ecological regime and r/c is Carnot's efficiency. In order to investigate the energy absorption characteristics of multi-cell polygonal tubes with different cross-sectional configurations,firstly,the theoretical formulae of the mean crushing force under axial load for four multi-cell polygonal tubes were derived by combining the Super Folding Element theory with Zhang’s research results.These formulae can be used to validate the numerical model and quickly evaluate the energy absorption ability of multi-cell polygonal tubes.Furthermore,a comparative study on the energy absorption performance of eight multi-cell polygonal tubes under axial and oblique loads was conducted.The results show that all tubes have a stable mixed deformation mode under axial load.The multi-cell decagon tube has better energy-absorption ability compared with other tubes.Whenθis less than 10°,all the tubes maintain a stable deformation mode,and the multi-cell decagon tube also has the biggest crushing force efficiency and specific energy absorption among these eight tubes;meanwhile compared with the results atθ=0°,the specific energy absorption of all tubes decreases by about 8%-21%,while the crushing force efficiency increases by 20%-56%.However,at large angles 20°and 30°,all of the tubes collapse in bending modes and lose their effectiveness at energy absorption. 展开更多

Because of the difficulty in handling the problem that the selected features always contain redundant informa... Feature selection is an important approach to dimensionality reduction in the field of text classification. Because of the difficulty in handling the problem that the selected features always contain redundant information, we propose a new simple feature selection method, which can effectively filter the redundant features. First, to calculate the relationship between two words, the definitions of word frequency based relevance and correlative redundancy are introduced. Furthermore, an optimal feature selection(OFS) method is chosen to obtain a feature subset FS1. Finally, to improve the execution speed, the redundant features in FS1 are filtered by combining a predetermined threshold, and the filtered features are memorized in the linked lists. Experiments are carried out on three datasets(Web KB, 20-Newsgroups, and Reuters-21578) where in support vector machines and na?ve Bayes are used. The results show that the classification accuracy of the proposed method is generally higher than that of typical traditional methods(information gain, improved Gini index, and improved comprehensively measured feature selection) and the OFS methods. Moreover, the proposed method runs faster than typical mutual information-based methods(improved and normalized mutual information-based feature selections, and multilabel feature selection based on maximum dependency and minimum redundancy) while simultaneously ensuring classification accuracy. Statistical results validate the effectiveness of the proposed method in handling redundant information in text classification. 展开更多
