In response to the deficiencies of BitTorrent, the concept of density radius was proposed, and the distance from the maximum point of radius density to cluster center as a cluster radius was taken to solve the too large cluster radius resulted from the discrete points and to reduce the false positive rate of early recognition algorithms. Simulation results show that in the actual network environment, the improved algorithm, compared with K-means, will reduce the false positive rate of early identification algorithm from 6.3% to 0.9% and has a higher operational efficiency. 展开更多

Nonlinear distortion analysis for multisine excitation constrained by power spectral density

Nonlinear distortion introduced by an amplifier when subjected to a multisine excitation decreases the measurement accuracy in many metrological and measurement areas. In this paper, we performed qualitative and quantitative analyses of the nonlinear distortion with the multisine excitations constrained by a constant power spectral density. We present the numerical results with respect to different tone spacings,nonlinear orders, harmonic phases and tone distributions. Moreover, three as-pects of contributions are made to further reveal the distortion mechanism. First, we find that the type Ⅱ components for Schr- oeder-phase multisines distribute uniformly but not all in anti-phase to the type I components for the second order nonlinearity. Second,we simulate the variance of the type I and Ⅱ components and their summation to explain the principle of reducing the type Ⅱ distortion by averaging the results obtained using multiple realizations of random-phase multisines. Third, we observe a special distortion distribution mechanism for the Schroeder-phase multisine excitation The results contribute to a better estima-tion and understanding of the nonlinear distortion. 展开更多

To improve the coding performance of H.264/AVC, this paper proposes a rate control scheme composed of a novel flame complexity optimized selection and a quantization parameter (QP) value computation approach. First, it extracts the frame coding complexity from two rate distortion models, and then introduces five statistic modes to estimate the frame coding complexity. An optimal mode is selected according to the coding efficiency. Finally the paper presents a novel QP calculation method for the H.264/AVC rate control. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithra outperforms the algorithm integrated in the 3M model in obtaining precise frame coding complexity, achieving robust buffer control and improving coding quality. And the improving visual quality is high up to 0.90dB for CIF sequences. 展开更多

Tolerance of a facultative marine fungus Aspergillus flavus towards As (V) was tested.Luxuriant growth of the test isolate was observed in culture media with As (V) concentrations of 25 mg L-1 and 50 mg L-1,indicating its tolerance to the metal.Accumulation rate of arsenic was always higher when exposed to As (V) at 50 mg L-1 than at 25 mg L-1.The study reveals Aspergillus flavus as a promising candidate for environmental bioremediation.Arsenic contents (mg g-1) in the fungus when exposed to 50 mg L-1 As (V) were measured as 11.1773,4.0983,and 8.0000 mg g-1 on day 3,6 and 9,respectively.The highest content was observed initially,i.e.on day 3,followed by a decline and a rise again.These results provide baseline information for further explorations regarding the exploitation of the fungus for arsenic removal. 展开更多

This essay designed a kind of new seven-core fiber with lower crosstalk and loss, and made space division multiplexing transmission experiment based on this seven-core fiber. It is known that crosstalk has the most serious influence in multicore fiber transmission process. Before the experiment, the affecting factors of fiber crosstalk were analyzed through simulation, such as core space, bending radius, and fiber length. Combined with the simulation analysis, the design scheme of multicore fiber with low crosstalk was obtained. Before the fiber design, various factors of influence crosstalk such as the core- to-core distance, bending radius, fiber length and so on. Based on the simulation analysis, conclusion has made on the design scheme of multi-core optimal fiber with low crosstalk. The space division multiplexing and wavelength division multiplexing technology, was adopted to conduct seven-core optical fiber transmission of 58.7kin.The crosstalk of adjacent core was suppressed to as low as 45dB / km, the attenuation of inner core was 0.24dB/ km, the outer cores' 0.32dB/km. Different bit error rate (BER) performances were also studied under different conditions, through reasonably designing the system to reduce the error rate, improve the performance of the system, and realize long distance and large capacity transmission with fiber. 展开更多

CSP (concentrated solar power) has been viewed as the technology that if properly developed could lead to a large scale conversion of solar energy into electricity. CSP is a type of solar energy converter that is cl... CSP (concentrated solar power) has been viewed as the technology that if properly developed could lead to a large scale conversion of solar energy into electricity. CSP is a type of solar energy converter that is classified as thermal converter because the output power produced is a function of the operating temperature. The main components of a CSP plant are the solar field which is made up of the heliostat arrays, the receiver tower, the heat transfer fluid, the molten salt thermal energy storage tanks and the power conversion unit, which is made up of the turbine and the generator. The main advantage of CSP is that of a cheap thermal storage (i.e., molten salt storage) which makes it possible to dispatch power at a cost comparable to the grid electricity. Simulations run with the SAM (systems advisory model) developed by NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory) showed that CSP is capable of delivering electricity at the cost of 17UScents per kWh for the 30-year life of the plant. The main disadvantage of CSP however, is that of low efficiency (8%-16%). There are ongoing research works to improve the efficiency of the CSP. One way to improve the efficiency is to increase the operating temperature of the system. In this paper, the authors discussed different modules of the CSP plant and suggested ways to improve on the conversion efficiencies of individual modules. Finally, an overall systems performance simulation is carried using SAM and the simulation results show that electricity can be produced using CSP at the cost of RI.05 per kWh. 展开更多

Laboratory experiments were conducted to investigate the transformation and performance of a granular sequence batch reactor(SBR) under the conventional organic loading rate(OLR) condition.Aerobic granules were successfully cultivated in a SBR by means of alternative feeding load combined with reducing settling time after 60 d operational period.Subsequently,the black fungal granules were presented in reactor because of the filamentous overgrowth on the surface of aerobic granules.A small amount of fungal granules had no effect on the performance of granular SBR.Aerobic granules completely vanished and fungal granules eventually became the dominant species in subsequent 90 d operation after granulation.The three-dimensional excitation emission matrix(EEM) spectra result shows that the extracellular polymeric substances(EPS) component in both granules has no much difference,whereas the content of EPS in fungal granules is higher than that in bacterial granules.Due to their low bioactivity,the chemical oxidation demand(COD) and NH4-N removal efficiencies gradually decrease from 90.4%–96.5% and 99.5% to 71.8% and 32.9% respectively while the fungal granules become dominant in the SBR. 展开更多

Analysis of color distortion and optimum fusion for remote sensing images using the statistical property of wavelet decomposition

But the matching error causes spectral distortion and degradation in processing of image fusion with IHS method. A study on IHS fusion indicates that the color distortion can't be avoided. Meanwhile, the statistical property of wavelet coefficient with wavelet decomposition reflects those significant features, such as edges, lines and regions. So, a united optimal fusion method, which uses the statistical property and IHS transform on pixel and feature levels, is proposed. That is, the high frequency of intensity component Ⅰ is fused on feature level with multi-resolution wavelet in IHS space. And the low frequency of intensity component Ⅰ is fused on pixel level with optimal weight coefficients. Spectral information and spatial resolution are two performance indexes of optimal weight coefficients. Experiment results with QuickBird data of Shanghai show that it is a practical and effective method. 展开更多
