This paper proves a theorem which d...During range-based self-localization of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) nodes, the number and placement methods of beacon nodes have a great influence on the accuracy of localization. This paper proves a theorem which describes the relationship between the placement of beacon nodes and whether the node can be located in 3D indoor environment. In fact, as the highest locating accuracy can be acquired when the beacon nodes form one or more equilateral triangles in 2D plane, we generalizes this conclusion to 3D space, and proposes a beacon nodes selection algorithm based on the minimum condition number to get the higher locating accuracy, which can minimize the influence of distance measurement error. Simulation results show that the algorithm is effective and feasible.展开更多

There were three selected variants of possible reno ration of school building. At first, it was installation of equipment for heat recovery into existing mechanical ventilation system. There were further evaluated possibilities how to use glass atrium or ground air-heat exchanger in mechanical ventilation system. These suggested variants were analysed in field of energy performance, namely in term of impacts on heat demand for space heating in order to keep required parameters of indoor environment quality according to standard STN EN 15251 (operative temperature, relative air humidity, air change rate). The analysis was elaborated by using energy simulation tool Design Builder in order to evaluate yearlong operation of buildings.展开更多

In this paper, the authors present the atmospheric test results of the combustor on test rig. Evaluation of several RANS turbulence models and reaction models were used in order to determine which model was the most appropriate combination for comparison with the test results. FGM with SST were selected because of the better agreement with test results in terms of combustor temperature rise, primary zone temperature, liner metal temperature, and NO_x emission predictions.展开更多
