The interesting phenomenon and its influence on the solidification microstructure were investigated in order to better study the mechanism of UST. It is considered that the overflowing phenomenon occurs due to the changes of vibration and flow in the remaining semisolid. Because the overflowed portion comes from the region with intense UST effect and vibrates with the probe during solidification, great modification of primary and euteetic Si (about 10 pm in length) and refinement of primary a(Al) (about 70 μm in size) are observed in this portion.展开更多

Flow stress behavior, substructure evolution, morphology and spatial distribution of precipitates were studied based on differential scanning calorimetry analysis and transmission electron microscope observation. The results showed that dynamic flow softening occurs during hot deformation. The main softening mechanism could be concluded as dynamic recovery at 300 °C and continuous dynamic recrystallization at 450 °C. The clear heterogeneous spatial distributions of precipitates are found during deformation and enhanced with increased strain. Higher contents of Cu in T phases are found at 450 °C than at 300 °C, which present a transformation process from T phases to S phases as well. The associated evidence of dynamic precipitation on dislocations and particle-stimulated nucleation, as well as the detailed microstructural inherited relationship and morphological texture(particles preferred orientation) were characterized.展开更多

This paper investigates the existence and the characteristics of different types of daily MFD for the Shanghai urban expressway network. The existence of MFD in the Shanghai urban expressway network is proved based on two weeks' data. Moreover, the hysteresis phenomena is present in most days and the network exhibits different hysteresis loops under different traffic situations. The relationship between the hysteresis phenomena and the inhomogeneity of traffic distribution is verified. The MFDs in the years of 2009 and 2012 are compared. The hysteresis loop still exists in 2012, which further verifies the existence of the hysteresis phenomenon. The direct relationship between the length of the hysteresis loop( ΔO) and the congestion is proved based on sufficient data. The width of the hysteresis loop, i. e., the drop in network flow( ΔQ) has no relationship with the congestion, and it varies from day to day under different traffic situations.展开更多

Two concentrations of CO2 were designed: elevated CO2 (700 祄olmol-1) and ambient CO2 (400 祄olmol-1). The study results showed that the height growth of the tree seedlings grown at elevated CO2 increased by about 10%-40% compared to those grown at ambient CO2. And the water using efficiency of seedlings also followed the same tendency. However, the responses of seedlings in transpiration and chlorophyll content to elevated CO2 varied with tree species. The broad-leaf tree species were more sensitive to the elevated CO2 than conifer tree species. All seedlings showed a photosynthetic acclimation to long-term elevated CO2.展开更多

In order to confirm the Darcy′s law in Hele-Shaw cell, since there is an analogy between flow in cells and that in porous media, progressive water waves are utilized to build an unsteady flow in a Hele-Shaw cell, and which complex wave number is measured by a wave height gauge. Meanwhile, theoretical analyses are used to compare with experimental data. Result shows Darcy′s Law is not exactly correct for unsteady Hele-Shaw flows, and it is expected to conduct a modified Darcy′s Law.展开更多

Based on the evolution, the mean value of the atom inversion operator 〈 S 3(t)〉 is gi ven. The influence of the “counter rotating term” on the collapse and revival phenomenon is discussed from the comparison between the cases with RWA and without RWA. METHODS: We conducted a case-control study of 137 patients with colorectal cancer and 199 cancerfree controls in northeast China. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to calculate the adjusted odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI). RESULTS: The -765G〉C polymorphism was not independently associated with CRC risk. However, risk associated with the polymorphism differed by smoking and body mass index (BMI). Smoking and BMI associated risks were stronger among those with -765GG genotype, showing that smokers had a 2.682-fold greater risk of CRC than nonsmokers (51/43 vs 68/126, P = 0.006). Compared to those with a normal body mass index (BMI 18.5-22.9), those with overweight (BMI 23-24.9) had a 3.909-fold higher risk of CRC (OR = 3.909, 95% CI = 2.081-7.344; P 〈 0.001), while those with obesity (BMI 〉 25) had a 2.031- fold higher risk of CRC (OR = 1.107, 95% CI = 1.107-3.726; P = 0.022). is not associated with an increased risk of CRC, -765GG genotype appears to be related to an increased risk in the presence of smoking and higher BMI.展开更多
