With the expansion of post modern design ＂humanization＂ design idea in various design fields, whether in architectural design, industrial design, graphic design or costume design, designers pay a hitherto unknown attention to the emotional understanding and humanized expression of the design content. When the Chinese designers and consumers almost have no clear concept of ＂ post modernism ideology＂ , the rookies in the design competition have already used the post modem design techniques very skillfully, and ordinary people have already worn the costumes of post modernism style to swagger through the streets.展开更多

Starting from machine aesthetics and high-tech style, combined with the changing process of the sense of science and technology, it analyzes the causes and related social factors, style characteristics and manifestations of the sense of science and technology, as well as the inherent relationship of multi-angle analysis technology and the sense of science and technology. It illustrates the social value and defects of artistic expression of the sense of science and technology and reflects on the connection and difference between science and technology on the one hand and the sense of science and technology on the other hand.展开更多

Continuum mecha...Continuum mechanics, just as the name implies, deals with the mechanics problems of all continua, whose physical （or mechanical） properties are assumed to vary continuously in the spaces they occupy. Continuum mechanics may be seen as the symbol of modem mechanics, which differs greatly from current physics, the two often being mixed up by people and even sci- entists. In this short paper, I will first try to give an illustration on the differences between （modem） mechanics and physics, in my personal view, and then focus on some important current research activities in continuum mechanics, attempting to identify its path to the near future. We can see that continuum mechanics, while having a dominating impact on engineering design in the 20th century, also plays a pivotal role in modem science, and is much closer to physics, chemistry, biology, etc. than ever before.展开更多
