Preservation of the scene is a very important action regarding the investigation and prosecution of the event that has happened, where law enforcement agencies or units that conduct surveillance of the scene make it. To preserve a scene means: to preserve the land in that state who has left the presidency. Preservation of the scene of that condition that has left the perpetrator is of particular importance to the inspection teams for tracks and material evidence found there are untouched and proceeding or their expertise will help prosecute perpetrators respectively capture of that work. Tracks and material evidence found in the scene should be retained together with all the space where the event happened because a possible carelessness during the examination as well as during the process of storage and security will bring us to a situation in which we will have our doubts concerning the tracks and material evidence found in that place. Also, preservation of the crime scene needs to be done because of the all action who have to take the searching unit, they need to be sure and security from everything that comes from outside.展开更多

It utilises the case study of Vanessa George, a nursery worker who was involved in the exchange of indecent imagery of children via an online paedophile ring. The first part of the paper considers the emergence of the sub-discipline, visual criminology and examines what is known about the visual representation of female offenders. The second part presents the findings of an empirical investigation, which involved engaging in a critical, reflexive visual analysis of a selection photographs and the police mugshot of Vanessa George. The paper considers the ways in which George's physical appearance and her suggested ability to deceive were used to visually represent her as "other", thus reinforcing the existing simplistic motifs of female sex offending.展开更多

Data were collected from all related agencies. The results of this research have showed that executive process of forensic science is used to investigate the crime in three southern border provinces that can be divided the operations into three main issues as following: crime scene examination, evidence testing, autopsy in case of crime scene, and factors which affect forensic work for using in criminal investigation in three southern border provinces of police practitioners. They should have the knowledge about forensic science, commitment, bravery, and cunning work.展开更多

In this context, this paper aims to develop a system for automatic processing of fingerprint identification by their minutiae using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), which reveals to be highly effective. The ANN method implemented is a based on Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) model, which utilizes the algorithm of retro-propagation of gradient during the learning process. In such a process, the mean square error generated represents the specific parameter for the identification phase by comparing a fingerprint taken from a crime scene with those of a reference database.展开更多

Herein, a general powder dusting method has been explored for latent fingerprint development based on aggregation-induced emission luminogens(AIEgens). A series of tetraphenylethene(TPE) derivatives with multiple diphenylamine(DPA), namely, TPE-DPA,TPE-2 DPA and TPE-4 DPA, were selected as candidates to dope with magnetic powders and applied for latent fingerprint development. After screening, the magnetic powder 3 doped with TPE-4 DPA proves to be the best, in terms of fluorescent intensity, resolution and adhesiveness. Afterwards, the magnetic powder 3 was applied for visualization of latent fingerprint on various smooth and porous substrates, including glass, stainless steel, leaf, ceram, plastic bag, lime wall, wood and paper money.Specific details, such as island, core, termination and bifurcation, can be clearly observed for the fluorescent fingerprint images.展开更多
