Then the...To prevent a vehicle from departing the lane in assistant or automatic steering, real-time vision-based detection of lane is studied. The system architecture, detecting principle and lane model are described. Then the detecting algorithm of the lane image is discussed in detail. In this algorithm, several proper sub-windows in one image are first selected as the processing regions. To every sub-window, by means of such steps as appropriate pre-processing, edge detection and Hough transform, etc., the lane description features are extracted. Experimental results reveal that this detection method is of good real-time, high recognition reliability and strong robustness, etc., which can provide the decision-making foundation for the following automatic or assistant steering to some extent.展开更多

Hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） is one of the most frequent malignant tumors and is the second most common cause of cancer death in China. Therefore, it is very important to detect this disease and the recurrence at ...Hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC） is one of the most frequent malignant tumors and is the second most common cause of cancer death in China. Therefore, it is very important to detect this disease and the recurrence at its earlier period. Serum tumor markers, as the effective method for detecting hepatocellular carcinoma for a long time, could be divided into 4 categories： oncofetal antigens and glycoprotein antigens; enzymes and isoenzymes; genes; and cytokines. Serum alpha fetoprotein （AFP） is the most widely used tumor marker in detecting patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, and has been proven to have capability of prefiguring the prognosis. However, it has been indicated that AFP-L3 and DCP excel AFP in differentiating hepatocellular carcinoma from nonmalignant hepatopathy and detecting small hepatocellular carcinoma. Some tumor markers, such as human cervical cancer oncogene and human telomerase reverse transcriptase mRNA, have also been indicated to have higher accuracies than AFP. Furthermore, some other tumor markers, such as glypican-3, gamma-glutamyl transferase Ⅱ, alpha-Ifucosidase, transforming growth factor-beta1, tumorspecific growth factor, have been indicated to be available supplementaries to AFP in the detection. AFP mRNA has been shown to correlate with the metastasis and recurrence of HCC, and it may be the most useful marker to prefigure the prognosis. Some other markers, such as gamma-glutamyl transferase mRNA, vascular endothelial growth factor, and interleukin-8, could also be used as available prognostic indicators, and the simultaneous determination of AFP and these markers may detect the recurrence of HCC at its earlier period.展开更多
To research the loading charactefistc of rocks with different structures cut by helical cutting mechanism （HCM）, three different structures of rock （hard-soft-hard rock, soft-hard rock and soft-hard-soft rock） wer...To research the loading charactefistc of rocks with different structures cut by helical cutting mechanism （HCM）, three different structures of rock （hard-soft-hard rock, soft-hard rock and soft-hard-soft rock） were built. And each type model was further divided into three types when the experiments were carried out. To reduce the errors of cutting load caused by manually configured rock in each test, the cutting load of soft rock was taken as a benchmark, and the differences of the cutting load of the different structures of rocks and the soft rock were used to reflect the cutting load change rules of the HCM. The results indicate that, the cutting load of only the HCM top cutting hard rock is larger than that of only the HCM bottom cutting hard rock for dextral HCM, and the cutting load fluctuation is larger, too. However, when the top and the bottom of the HCM cutting hard rock simultaneously, its cutting load is the largest, but the cutting load fluctuation is the least. And the HCM cutting load increment is increased linearly with the increase of rock compressive strength. The HCM cutting load increment is increased exponentially with the increase of hard rock cutting thickness.展开更多

Methods Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded ...Objective To investigate the expression of PTEN and Caspase-3 in malignant lymphoma of the stomach and explore their role in progression of primary gastric malignant lymphoma. Methods Formalin-fixed paraffin embedded tissues from 56 cases of primary gastric malignant lymphoma and their adjacent non-tumor mucosa were evaluated for PTEN and Caspase-3 protein ex-pression by streptavidin-biotin-complex (SABC) immunohistochemistry. Their expression was compared with clinical tumor parameters with the relationship between PTEN and Caspase-3 expression concerned as well. Results The positive rate of PTEN expression in primary gastric lymphomas(50.0%, 28/56) was significantly lower than that in adjacent non-tumor gastric mucosa(96.4%, 27/28)(P < 0.05). Meanwhile,43 of 56(76.8%)gastric lymphomas indicated Caspase-3 expression, less than that in adjacent non-tumor mucosa (93.5%, 29/31) (P < 0.05). The expression of PTEN was negatively correlated with invasion and lymph node metastasis of gastric lymphoma(P < 0.05), while the Caspase-3 expression was negatively associated with the latter one(P < 0.05). Additionally, the PTEN expression was posi-tively correlated with Caspase-3 expression in the primary gastric malignant lymphoma(P < 0.05). Conclusions The down-regulated expression of PTEN and Caspase-3 played an important role in progression of primary malignant gastric lymphoma. PTEN, as a molecular marker of pathobiological behaviors of tumor, contributes to tumor progression by increasing cell mobility and angiogenesis, as well as decreasing cell adhesion and apoptosis.展开更多

METHODS： The routine two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis （2-DE） and Western blotting were combined to screen immunogenic proteins of S. Aexneri 2a 2457T. Serum was gained from rabbits immunized with the same bacteria. Immunogenic spots were cut out from the polyacrylamide gel and digested by trypsin in-gel. Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight-mass spectrometry （MALDI-TOF-MS） was performed to determine the molecular weight of peptides. Electrospray ionization （ESI-MS/MS） was performed to determine the sequences of the interesting peptides. RESULTS： A total of 20 spots were successfully identified from Coomassie brilliant blue stained gels representing 13 protein entries, 5 known antigens and 8 novel antigens. A hypothetical protein （YaeT） was detected, which might be a candidate target of vaccine. CONCLUSION： Membrane proteins of S. flexneri 2a 2457T were successfully observed by 2-DE.
