从“心”的意涵看孟荀思想发展的逻辑进路

Text Difficulty,Working Memory Capacity and Mind Wandering During Chinese EFL Learners’Reading

This experimental study investigated how text difficulty and different working memory capacity(WMC)affected Chinese EFL learners’reading comprehension and their tendency to engage in task-unrelated thoughts,that is,mind wandering(MW),in the course of reading.Sixty first-year university non-English majors participated in the study.A two-factor mixed experimental design of 2(text difficulty:difficult and simple)×2(WMC:high/large and low/small)was employed.Results revealed that 1)the main and interaction effects of WMC and text difficulty on voluntary MW were significant,whereas those on involuntary MW were not;2)while reading the easy texts,the involuntary MW of high-WMC individuals was less frequent than that of low-WMC ones,whereas while reading the difficult ones,the direct relationship between WMC and involuntary MW was not found;and that 3)high-WMC individuals had a lower overall rate of MW and better reading performance than low-WMC individuals did,but with increasing text difficulty,their rates of overall MW and voluntary MW were getting higher and higher,and the reading performance was getting lower and lower.These results lend support to WM theory and have pedagogical implications for the instruction of L2 reading. 展开更多

论唐君毅先生对荀子「性恶善伪」的诠释(上)

唐君毅先生诠释荀子的「性恶」,是从「性伪二分」的架构而论证「性恶」乃是对较对反於「善伪」来说的;又从「欲转化之」的辩证思维,则见「性恶」乃在於相对於道德文化理想的现实状态而显现的。唐君毅先生论荀子言「善伪」之可能,则... 唐君毅先生诠释荀子的「性恶」,是从「性伪二分」的架构而论证「性恶」乃是对较对反於「善伪」来说的;又从「欲转化之」的辩证思维,则见「性恶」乃在於相对於道德文化理想的现实状态而显现的。唐君毅先生论荀子言「善伪」之可能,则先从荀子思想核心在於「心」,并指出荀子言「心」既重於「心之虚静」,又重於「心之能一」,而名其为「统类心」。在「统类心」的既重「知道」又重「通统类」的「理智心」之特性下,荀子并不能直说「性善」,仅能表达出可以为善的「能」,且这种为善的「能」只算是一种潜能,而未必是「实能」;荀子逐以「统类心」的「意志行为之心」的特性(主宰性)来「知道、守道、行道」,并以制措来矫性化性,成善行。唐君毅先生本着其「即哲学史以言哲学」的宏观的哲学态度与辩证式思维的独特的诠释视角,对荀子「性恶善伪」的诠释确然得到不少较其同时代学人为突出的洞见,尤其是以当代荀子学的研究来看,则更发现唐君毅先生对荀子「性恶善伪」的诠释,仍然是对予後续者具有极大的启发性,实在值得後续者循其方法或态度来研究的。 展开更多

"智的直觉"概念在牟宗三哲学中有一个发展演变的过程,而并非只在后期才受到重视,涵义单一。这个演变过程可分为"直觉的解悟"、"超理智的认识心"、"内容真理之体证"与"本体之智或无限心"四个阶段。它们分别代表牟宗三在每个思想阶段对"智的直觉"概念的典型理解。在"直觉的解悟"思想阶段,牟宗三的思想旨趣在宇宙论玄思,他对"智的直觉"概念的理解也表现为"直觉的解悟";在"逻辑的架构"阶段,牟宗三从对逻辑的超越来理解"智的直觉",所以用"超理智的认识心"来称之;在"主观的悲情"阶段,牟宗三深入诠释传统儒释道哲学,认识到"智的直觉"不只具有形式意义,还具有内容意义;及至后期牟宗三建构两层存有论,认为不仅儒家之智的直觉,佛老之智的直觉亦也有本体论的意义。牟宗三"智的直觉"概念的发展不但与他的思想阶段对应,而且还牵涉到他的坎陷论的演变,以及他对儒家与佛老的判别等问题,是研究牟宗三哲学的基础性工作。 展开更多

Information centric networking(ICN) is a new network architecture that is centred on accessing content. It aims to solve some of the problems associated with IP networks, increasing content distribution capability and improving users' experience. To analyse the requests' patterns and fully utilize the universal cached contents, a novel intelligent resources management system is proposed, which enables effi cient cache resource allocation in real time, based on changing user demand patterns. The system is composed of two parts. The fi rst part is a fi ne-grain traffi c estimation algorithm called Temporal Poisson traffi c prediction(TP2) that aims at analysing the traffi c pattern(or aggregated user requests' demands) for different contents. The second part is a collaborative cache placement algorithm that is based on traffic estimated by TP2. The experimental results show that TP2 has better performance than other comparable traffi c prediction algorithms and the proposed intelligent system can increase the utilization of cache resources and improve the network capacity. 展开更多

Since the concept of artificial psychology and artificial emotion was first presented, it has become a topic of interest in academic circles and enterprises. In this article, we first briefly introduce the basic concepts and principles of artificial psychology and artificial emotion, analyzing the unified macro-model of the cross-disciplinary system architecture against the need-motivation-behavior framework. Second, we discuss the origin of artificial psychology and artificial emotion, its course of development, and its present situation in China. We also present a review of the published papers and research endeavors of Chinese universities and research institutions and the technical engineering applications of artificial psychology and artificial emotion. Finally, we summarize the challenges to the further development of artificial psychology and artificial emotion and our recommendations for improving the cognitive computing model of psychological states and developing reliable and accurate humanoid interaction and cooperation technology, robot platforms with emotions and humanoid interaction and cooperation capabilities, and humanoid robots for the elderly and the disabled in smart homes. We believe that, with intensive research, artificial psychology and artificial emotion may be developed further and may eventually reach maturity. 展开更多
