The Buddhist philosophy of karmic causality and dependent origination (pratitya-samutpada) convey the notion of interdependence of humans and nature. Today, especially in the United States, there are many movements, such as the Buddhist Peace Fellowship, to promote eco-living and sustainable communities, which call for humans to be mindful of the environment and make conscientious choices for the benefit of all sentient beings and non-sentient entities. Just as humans have been the cause of the gradual deterioration of Nature, we can also be the solution towards an coo-conscious living, which not only fosters a healthy environment, but also enables us to build good merit. The core Buddhist teaching, which must be embraced by all eco-minded practitioners is the notion of interdependence, which has been expounded by notable Japanese Buddhist figures in the eighth century, such as Kukai (774-835) of the Shingon School and Dogen (1200-1253) of the Soto Zen sect, who both viewed that non-living life forms--trees, plants, and the earth--could also achieve enlightenment. Their view is based on the ontological notions of Buddha-nature (tathagata-garbha) and Indra's Jewel Net, which is a powerful image found in Huayen's (Jpn. Kegon) Avatamsaka Sutra. This paper examines Buddhist teachings and sutras, which support eco-friendly and sustainable movements in our society and world today.展开更多

Using statistics since 1978, this research paper examines, in detail, the changing patterns of labor compensation since reform and opening- up. Following international practices. this paper has adjusted China's labor compensation statistics. The results show that, iu contrast to a significant drop in the share of labor competsation in GDP before making an adjustment, the adjusted share has actually remained stable for the most part after the late 1970s.There has been no discernable fall until the last several years, The real prablem in China's functional distribution of national income since the late 1970s has not been the declining share of labor compensation in GDP. Gifted children refer to a group of children who have such characteristics as high IQ (intelligence quotient), strong creativity, and good personality. Their intelligence and capability have great potential for further development. As cognitive ability is one of the prominent characteristics of supernormal children, the lecturers can not only pay attention to teaching knowledge (facts teaching), but also need provide proper opportunities for them to develop their aggressiveness, creativities, and challenges when teaching these children. Because students are active in thinking, in the classroom, students often have some unexpected ideas, that is, the generation of the classroom, in the face of this situation, teachers should be how to do? Many nations are trying to improve their tourism sector attracting more tourists every year in order to impact social welfare. This study addresses two research questions: (1) What are the factors that impact on tourism sector? and (2) Does the tourism really impact on social welfare of the communities? The objectives of this work are to analyze the variables that impact on the tourism in the Mexican providence of Michoacan and also to find out if the tourism sector is impacting on social welfare of the province, with the propose of answering this questions 41 variables were selected being 63 municipalities of Michoacan province in the case of study. Analysis Factorial of Correspondences (AFC) through the analysis of principal components methodology is employed in this article. The analysis is divided into five phases: (1) reliability testing; (2) the calculation of a matrix that expresses the joint variability of the variables; (3) extraction of the optimal number of factors; (4) the rotation of solutions for the ease of interpretation; and (5) the estimation of the scores graphically. The results showed that the variables that impact on tourism are several the most representative tourism infrastructure and complementary services restaurants, lodging with category five- and four- star travel, visitors foreign share of the Economic Active Population (EAP) in the tertiary sector, percentage of EAP women, percentage of economically active men and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) per capita among others. However the analysis of the Human Development Index (HDI) is not associated with the tourism variables展开更多

We adopted quasi-experiment study, the experimental group and controlled group all 28 students were chose, go on the parameter is analyzed together compared with textbook instructions, scale of scientific learning motivation and test of scientific conception learning were used for the two groups in prior test and post test, then they used statistical ANCOVA (analysis of covariance) to analyze the differences between the two teaching models. The result of this study finds that RCPS teaching model improved student's scientific learning motivation and learning scientific concept was superior to textbook instructions in controlled group, p = 0.001 (〈 0.01), and all with high experimental treatment effects (〉 0.14). The study also proposes that when RCPS teaching model was applied to scientific concept teaching, RCPS teaching model should be joined the conception introducing stage, and pay attention to students' scientific learning motivation.展开更多

Based on calculating agricultural labor productivity in east China from 1996 to 2005, this paper analyzes contributing degree of motive forces of agriculture develop in ten provinces and cities of east China applying GCA (Grey correlative analysis). The results show that there is no absolute correspondence between the level of industrialization and agricultural labor productivity in China's eastern area. There is no synchronous development between industry and agricultural labor productiviry in some areas. Fertilizer and agricultural machinery input had high contributing degree for ten years; however; contributing degree in land and irrigation work input was low. Non-materialization inputs became the leading role in most provinces and cities' increase of agricultural labor productivity. Modern agricultural development need non-materialization inputs as primary motive force, at the same time, direct material input and facility input as guaranteed function. For some reasons, agricultural development is characterized by "more direct material input, less facility input " in east China now.
