The separation of halogens and recovery of heavy metals from secondary copper smelting(SCS)dust using a sulfating roasting−water leaching process were investigated.The thermodynamic analysis results confirm the feasibility of the phase transformation to metal sulfates and to gaseous HF and HCl.Under the sulfating roasting conditions of the roasting temperature of 250℃ and the sulfuric acid excess coefficient of 1.8,over 74 wt.%of F and 98 wt.%of Cl were volatilized into flue gas.Approximately 98.6 wt.%of Zn and 96.5 wt.%of Cu in the roasting product were dissolved into the leaching solution after the water leaching process,while the leaching efficiencies of Pb and Sn were only 0.12%and 0.22%,respectively.The mechanism studies indicate the pivotal effect of roasting temperature on the sulphation reactions from various metal species to metal sulfates and the salting out reactions from various metal halides to gaseous hydrogen halides. 展开更多

为减少大田使用农药带来的农业面源污染,采用种子处理技术、健康栽培技术和穗期病虫害集中防控技术,有效管控水稻主要病虫害,减少水稻全生育期农药和肥料的使用量。利用新型拌种剂处理,用以控制水稻苗期及移栽后早期的主要病虫害,破口... 为减少大田使用农药带来的农业面源污染,采用种子处理技术、健康栽培技术和穗期病虫害集中防控技术,有效管控水稻主要病虫害,减少水稻全生育期农药和肥料的使用量。利用新型拌种剂处理,用以控制水稻苗期及移栽后早期的主要病虫害,破口抽穗期使用低毒高效药剂进行集中防控;在全程不使用任何农药的情况下,利用新型纯生物提取物(生化素)对水稻全生育期进行4次喷施;利用新型拌种、生化素处理结合破口抽穗期集中防控。结果表明:新型种子处理技术对水稻秧田期和大田早期的病虫控制效果最好,可以大大降低全生育期内农药使用量;生化素能够促进水稻的生长和干物质积累,对病虫害危害具有较强补偿作用;拌种+生化素+穗期集中防控,对整体防病虫和增产作用最为明显。因此,两者结合使用,既能防病治虫又能增产,还可以减少化学农药使用量达34.65%,有利于生态环境改善和稻米品质提升。 展开更多

Results A new compound named herpetin was isolated, whose structure was determined to be 3-benzofuran methanol-2, 3-dihydm-2-(4- hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl )-4-methoxy-6-[ tetrahydm-2-( 3-hydroxy-4-methoxyphenyl )-3-methanol ]-2- furanmethyl, showed significant inhibitory effects on HBV-DNA and the replication and expression of HBsAg and HBeAg. It could be inferred that the enzyme responsible for the biotransforma-tion reaction was a kind of extracellular and constitutive enzyme since the transformation reaction of the substrate could be carried out in cell free extracts of the fermentation broth of the Mucor spinosus. 展开更多

The results show that Se in burdock stem, skin and leaf are 32.40, 48.63, 38.10 μg/g, respectively; Cd in burdock stem, skin and leaf are 0. 160 0, 0. 300 0, 0. 140 0 μg/g, respectively; Cd in burdock stem, skin and leaf are 2. 020, 3. 960, 2. 410 μg/g, respectively. In the ginkgo and ginko leaf, Se contents are 17.63 and 16.91 μg/g, respectively ; for Cd are 0. 181 0 and 0.2020μg/g, respectively ; for Pb are 3. 572 and 4. 021 μg/g, respectively. In garlic, Se, Cd and Pb are 73. 900 0, 6. 900 0 and 0. 390 0, respectively. All the standard deviations of measured results are below 2.3%, recovery rate are from 99% to 101%. 展开更多

With the significant discharge of antibiotic wastewater into the aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, antibiotic pollution has become a serious problem and presents a hazardous risk to the environment. To address such issues, various investigations on the removal of antibiotics have been undertaken. Photocatalysis has received tremendous attention owing to its great potential in removing antibiotics from aqueous solutions via a green, economic, and effective process. However, such a technology employing traditional photocatalysts suffers from major drawbacks such as light absorption being restricted to the UV spectrum only and fast charge recombination. To overcome these issues, considerable effort has been directed towards the development of advanced visible light-driven photocatalysts. This mini review summarises recent research progress in the state-of-the-art design and fabrication of photocatalysts with visible-light response for photocatalytic degradation of antibiotic wastewater. Such design strategies involve the doping of metal and non-metal into ultraviolet light-driven photocatalysts, development of new semiconductor photocatalysts, construction of heterojunction photocatalysts, and fabrication of surface plasmon resonance-enhanced photocatalytic systems. Additionally, some perspectives on the challenges and future developments in the area of photocatalytic degradation of antibiotics are provided. 展开更多

Protective effect of erythropoietin against 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium-induced neurodegenaration in PC12 cells

Objective The neuroprotective effect of erythropoietin (EPO) against 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium (MPP^+)- induced oxidative stress in cultured PC12 cells, as well as the underlying mechanism, were investigated. Methods PC12 ceils impaired by MPP^+ were used as the cell model of Parkinson's disease. Methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) was used to assay the viability of the PC12 cells exposed to gradient concentrations of EPO, and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labelling (TUNEL) assay was used to analyze the apoptosis ratio of PC 12 cells. The expression of Bcl-2 and Bax in PC 12 cells were examined by Western blot, and the reactive oxygen species (ROS), the mitochondrial transmembrane potential and the activity of caspase-3 in each group were detected by spectrofluorometer. Results Treatment of PC12 cells with MPP^+ caused the loss of cell viability, which may be associated with the elevation in apoptotic rate, the formation of ROS and the disruption of mitochondrial transmembrane potential. It was also shown that MPP+ significantly induced the upregulation of Bax/Bcl-2 ratio and the activation of caspase-3. In contrast, EPO significantly reversed these responses and had the maximum protective effect at 1 U/mL. Conclusion The inhibitive effect of EPO on the MPP^+ -induced cytotoxicity may be ascribed to its anti-oxidative property and anti-apoptotic activity, and EPO may provide a useful therapeutic strategy for treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. 展开更多

The dynamic changes in the distribution of lignin and hemicelluloses (xylans and xyloglucans) in cell walls during the differentiation of secondary xylem in Eucommia ulmoides Oliv. were studied by means of ultraviolet light microscopy and transmission electron microscopy combined with immunogold labelling. In the cambial zone and cell expansion zone, xyloglucans were localized both in the tangential and radial walls, but no xylans or lignin were found in these regions. With the formation of secondary wall S-1 layer, lignin occurred in the cell corners and middle lamella, while xylans appeared in S-1 layer, and xyloglucans were localized in the primary walls and middle lamella. In pace with the formation of secondary wall S-2 and S-3 layer, lignification extended to S-1, S-2 and S-3 layer in sequence, showing a patchy style of lignin deposition. Concurrently, xylans distributed in the whole secondary walls and xyloglucans, on the other hand, still localized in the primary walls and middle lamella. The results indicated that along with the formation and lignification of the secondary wall, great changes had taken place in the cell walls. Different parts of cell walls, such as cell corners, middle lamella, primary walls and various layers of secondary walls, had different kinds of hemicelluloses, which formed various cell wall architecture combined with lignin and other cell wall components. 展开更多

The immunohistochemical localization of IAA and the comparison of their relative levels were carried out for the first time in the anthers of Nongken 58S and its wild type Nongken 58 (Oryza sativa subsp. japonica) after long_day and short_day treatments. The distribution of free_IAA in anthers and its dynamic variation could be reflected by this method. The results showed that the IAA level in the anthers of Nongken 58S after long_day treatment was much lower than that in short_day_treated Nongken 58S and those in wild type Nongken 58 in five stages from pistil and stamen primordia formation to late uninucleate stage. The possible reasons for IAA deficiency in Nongken 58S_LD anthers and its relationship with fertility alteration were also discussed. 展开更多

[ Method ] The seedling growth increment, chlorophyll content and chlorophyll fluorescence parameters in leaves of 1-year old Cinnamomum japonicum var. chenii were investigated in field experiment. [ Result] Under NaC1 stress, seedling growth increment reduced and the chlorophyll content decreased to a stable value ; changes of Fv/Fm and Fv/Fo showed identical increasing trend and double peak type. With the aggravation of salt stress, most variations were observed in Fo, correlations among chlorophyll fluorescence parameters presented "rise-drop" trend (in.the treatment of 7 g/L NaCl). [ Conclusion] Cirmamomum japonicum vat. chenii is endowed with strong salt resistance and wide adaptability. 展开更多

The non biodegradable sodium lignin sulfonate can be partly converted into biodegradable substances by ozonation (about 38 76%). Aim ,To study the mechanism relative to therapeutic effects of matrine on adenine-induced renal interstitial fibrosis in rats. Methods Sixty male Wistar rats were selected and randomly divided into 3 groups: normal control group (NCG) consisted of 8 rats, adenine treated group (ATG) 28 rats, and matrine treated group (MTG) 24 rats. Each rat in ATG and MTG was gavaged with adenine (250 mg·kg^-1·d^-1 ) for 21 d. After gavage with adenine for one week, each rat in MTG was administered intraperitoneally matrine(20 mg·kg^-1·d^-1 ) in vehicle ( 1 mL of 0.9% sodium chloride) daily. On days 14, 21, and 28, the serum levels of urea nitrogen, creatinine, and IL-6 were determined and the rat kidneys of ATG, MTG and NCGwere examined pathologically. Radioimmunoassay for serum IL- 6 immunohistochemical staining for TGF-β1 expression in the kidney and semiquantitative analysis were performed. HE staining for semiquantitative analysis of tubulointerstitial injury. Results The serum levels of urea nitrogen and creatinine in MTG were lower as compare to ATG ( P 〈 0.05 ) whereas serum IL- 6 and renal TGF-β1 expression levels were significantly lower than those in ATG (P 〈0.05 ), but all these indexes were higher than those in NCG (P 〈 0.01 ). In MTG, the index of tubulointerstitial lesion was lower than that in ATG (P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion Matrine inhibits the renal tubulointerstial fibrosis in the adenine-induced rat model by suppressing serum level of IL-6 and expression of TGF-β1 in the tubulointerstitium. 展开更多

[Objective]The aim was to carry out stoichiometry on the early-spring herbs functional group in subtropical artificial wetland.[Method]UV-Vis spectrophotometer was used for the determination of nitrate-nitrogen,ammonium nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations.Potassium persulfate absorptiometry was used for the measurement of total N content,while the flame photometer was used to detect the potassium and sodium concentration in plants.All the nutrient determination of plant samples were repeated for four times.[Result]The four nutrient concentrations in almost all samples were in the normal range of natural plant nutrition concentrations;in early-spring herbs functional groups,different species showed diversity on the nutrient concentrations;plant height had no significant effect on the nutrient concentrations in plants;the nutrient concentrations of non-grass group plants were higher than that of grass group plants;the nutrient concentrations of the annual herb were higher than that of perennial herbs.[Conclusion]The study had provided basis for the understanding of the effects of changes in nutritional conditions on species diversity,community structure and succession of the system. 展开更多

Cultivation of Black Fungus under Forest in Middle-high Altitude Areas

[Objective] The study was to solve the contradiction between fungus and forest during the production of black fungi, and to obtain relatively high economic benefits and ecological benefits. [Method] Black fungi were cultivated in forest with middle-high altitude of 500-1 600 m. The germination time of fungus stick, germination days of buds, growth days of fruiting body, commodity exterior, marketing effect and biological efficiency of black fungi were investigated. [Result] Compared with traditional cultivation, black fungus products cultivated under forest had the taste and flavor of wild black fungus. Fungus chaff wastage was directly decomposed by the roots in forest land, improving the soil structure of forest land. The need of moisture retention and the frequent access of administrative staff reduced the probability of forest fire occurrence. [Conclusion] Cultivation of black fungus under forest saves more than 70% fixed-asset investment on fungus shed, and the biological efficiency reached 12.2%. 展开更多
