The experiment lasted for 35 days. The results showed that I) At S0 and S10, specific growth rate and apparent digestibility coefficient exhibited decreasing trend, while food conversion ratio exhibited increasing trend, with decreasing P/C ratio. At SO, food consumption and specific growth rate of the shrimp fed 4.1 P/C were significantly higher than those fed 1.0 and 0.6 P/C, whereas at S10, no significant differences were detected among different treatments; II) At 4.1 and 1.9 P/C, food consumption and specific growth rate were higher in the shrimp maintained at SO as compared with those at S10, while at 1.0 and 0.6 P/C, an inverse trend was observed. Among four P/C ratios, food conversion ratio of the shrimp at SO was the lowest.展开更多

Methods: The 136 patients with hilar cholangiocarcinoma were operated in our hospital (Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery, Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College, China) from 1990 to 2011. Among of them, 48 cases with tumour resection, 9 cases with intrahepatic biliary-enteric bypass, 61 with external biliary drainage, 18 with explora- tion. Results: The total in-hospital mortality was 0%. The 97 cases were follow-up after operation: in 44 patients with turnout resection (15 with positive margins, 29 with negative margins), 1, 2, 3 years survival rates were respectively 58.26%, 28.34% and 6.38%; 43 patients with biliary drainage (7 patients with intrahepatic biliary-enteric bypass, 28 cases with external and jejunostomy, 8 patients with simple external biliary drainage), 1, 2 years survival rates were respectively 30.39% and 0%. Ten patients with exploration died within 21-68 days. Conclusien: To combine cholangiopancreatography, ultrasonography and Burke T-staging have practical value for assessment for tumour resectability. To resect a piece of wedge hepatic tissue but not total segment I might gain the effect of increasing curative resection and reserving segment I hepatic tissue.展开更多

As a result, the human being has created a non-scientifically based cultural environment that is affecting his ability to survive. In effect, cultural evolution is occurring more rapidly than biological evolution that can adapt to the changes brought about in the physical and psycho-social environments. In a pluralistic cultural world, where each society has generated a different view of human nature and different ethical values, the use, misuse, or non-use of scientific and technological advances are derived from these unscientific views of human nature. Since all life depends on limiting interacting environmental and ecological factors, it is imperative that scientific information be used to govern how to minimize irreversible effects on life-sustaining ecological factors, but also scientific information bearing on understanding human nature ought to be integrated into a "global bioethics". While ethical values cannot be directly derived from scientific factors, it is also true that human values or our "ought" cannot be maintained in ignorance or defiance of the facts or the "is".展开更多

It discusses two typological models dealing with the basic metaphysical problem concerned with the presence and meaning of transcendence in real human existence. According to the first, the historical reality of secularization causes a break from the collective memory whose roots are in religion. In contrast, the second model considers that despite the deep transformations in the status of religion in a reality of secularization, an experience of historical continuity may also occur there. These models denote the two poles in the argument about the meaning and value of history for modem people. The article suggests a phenomenological analysis of the two models and criticizes their deficiencies. Finally, the "tension model" is outlined as a third alternative that aims at overcoming the binary situation created by the first two in favor of a perspective that necessitates and contains both immanence and transcendence.展开更多

Culture is the temperament and style reflecting of the spirit and the consciousness of human beings and even the individuals. Enterprise is an organization which unites the established development goals and the individuals. Naturally, this humanistic enterprise groups should have a certain "temperament" and "style." Compared with the persons, this temperament and style, is the result of the collision, agitation, adjustments, tuning and optimized, representing the collective personality. Instead leaded by the individual consciousness, it is collective, organizational personality and style expressed by individual deeds and awareness and. The development of successful man- agement options will require accurate baseline data, establishment of clear objectives, and finally monitoring and implementation of corrective measures, if and when required. This study assessed management options for the genetic rehabilitation of highly inbred woylies obtained from wildlife rehabilitation centers. The study generated genetic data for the woylie Bettongia penicillata from a conservation reserve and calculated measures of genetic diversity and individual relatedness. These data were fed into a population viability analysis (PVA) to test genetic outcomes in relation to different management actions. We demonstrated that a careful selection of the founder cohort produced a population with an expected heterozygosity of -70% for a window of approximately 10 years. A proposal to increase the size of the reserve available to the colony was shown to almost double the time at which the colony would retain heterozygosity levels of≥70%. Additionally, developing a regular program of supplementation of unrelated woylies would result in a further improvement in their genetic value. This study demonstrated how the application of molecular techniques in combination with PVA can be beneficial for the management of rehabilitated wildlife otherwise considered of little conservation value. This approach can be applied to the management of breeding programs, but also to small, closed populations such as those found on islands, fenced enclosures, insurance populations, and in zoological collections.展开更多

In this interaction, plants serve as food for herbivores on the food chain. Then the livelihood of herbivores highly depends on the availability of food, in this case the availability of plants. Moreover, the abundance of the plant density alone does not guarantee the non-extinction of the herbivore population as they are assumed to reproduce sexually. With this motivation, in this paper a predator-prey mathematical model is reformulated such that the death rate of the herbivore population is dependent on the plant density and their emergence is also governed by the Allee effect. Using the mathematical theory of dynamical system, threshold conditions are obtained for the non-extinction of the herbivore population and a trapping region is obtained to ensure co-existence of the population. Moreover, it has been shown that the dynamics of the population is significantly sensitive to the feeding rate and the harvest rate of the herbivore population.展开更多

Some sufficient conditions on extinction, non-persistence in the mean, weak persistence in the mean, strong persistence in the mean, stability in the mean and stochastic permanence are obtained. The threshold between extinction and weak persistence in the mean is established. At the same time, under a simple condition, it is proved that this threshold also is the threshold between extinction and stability in the mean. The results reveal that L@vy jumps have significant effects to the persistence and extinction results.展开更多

文摘This paper is concerned with a stochastic single-species system with Levy jumps in a polluted environment. Some sufficient conditions on extinction, non-persistence in the mean, weak persistence in the mean, strong persistence in the mean, stability in the mean and stochastic permanence are obtained.
