This tension leg platform has potential to become the first advanced floating production platform project. Project execution is always a challenge for floating system. This paper focuses on the critical elements of project execution for tension leg platform,and studies potential implications to future oil and gas exploration in South China Sea. There are many factors affecting successful execution of floating system project,including technical issues, engineering management,interface management,etc. There are also failure examples of project execution in the industry. The author has participated 28 large detailed projects and has gained extensive experience on floating projects,with ample hands-on project experiences. A detailed tension leg platform project study example and discussions in depth are presented for future project execution in China deepwater development. 展开更多

Intellectualization has become a new trend for telecom industry, driven by intelligent technology including cloud computing, big data, and Internet of things. In order to satisfy the service demand of intelligent logistics, this paper designed an intelligent logistics platform containing the main applications such as e-commerce, self-service transceiver, big data analysis, path location and distribution optimization. The intelligent logistics service platform has been built based on cloud computing to collect, store and handling multi-source heterogeneous mass data from sensors, RFID electronic tag, vehicle terminals and APP, so that the open-access cloud services including distribution, positioning, navigation, scheduling and other data services can be provided for the logistics distribution applications. And then the architecture of intelligent logistics cloud platform containing software layer(SaaS), platform layer(PaaS) and infrastructure(IaaS) has been constructed accordance with the core technology relative high concurrent processing technique, heterogeneous terminal data access, encapsulation and data mining. Therefore, intelligent logistics cloud platform can be carried out by the service mode for implementation to accelerate the construction of the symbiotic win-winlogistics ecological system and the benign development of the ICT industry in the trend of intellectualization in China. 展开更多

Stability of boundary pillars in transition from open pit to underground mining 被引量:11

Based on the height of back-filled materials, thickness of ore body, height of boundary pillar and dipping angle of ore body and water pressure, the safety factors of all the pillars are calculated with the limit equilibrium method. The calculation results present that the safety factors of pillars in Sections 19, 20, 24, 28 are less than 1.3, and those of unstable sections are identified preliminarily. Further, a numerical investigation in Sections 18, 20, 22, 24, 25 and 28 implemented with numerical code RFPA20 is employed to further validate the pillar performance and the stability of stopes. The numerical results show the pillars in Sections 18, 22 and 24 are stable and the designed pillar size is suitable. The width of the ore body near Section 28 averages 20 m, failure occurs in the left stope, but the boundary pillars near Section 28 maintain good performance. The pillars in Sections 20 and 25 are unstable which are mainly affected by the Faults F8 and F18. The existence of faults alters the stress distribution, failure mode and water inrush pathway. This work provides a meaningful standard for boundary pillar and stope design in a mine as it transitions from an open pit to underground. 展开更多

In this paper the authors describe the design, prototyping and evaluation of SIMpliLife, a framework for mobile phones with the aim of making people's life easier, providing day-to-day services such as payment, ticketing and information retrieval by means of NFC (Near Field Communication) technology. It was developed via the collaboration between two research labs of Sapienza University of Rome: the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Lab and the Usability and Accessibility Lab (LUA), both belonging to CATTID (Centre for Applications of Teleservices and of Technologies for Innovation in Digital world) research centre. Technically, SIMpliLife is a SIM-based platform for NFC mobile phones that interfaces several applications able to manage the abovementioned services. The high-level User Interface has been developed by means of Smart Card Web Server (SCWS) technology, thus providing enhanced user experience if compared to traditional SIM-based implementations based on SIM Toolkit. 展开更多

This paper reports a study that used a matched-pair pre-test, post-test control group design to compare the impacts of IL (intensive listening) program and EL (extensive listening) program on the learners' listening proficiency based on the 30-day experiment. It is hoped that the study can help Vietnamese learners who study EFL (English as a foreign language) develop a positive attitude towards EL on one hand, and may motivate them to listen for pleasure on the other hand. This study may shed light on how to introduce EL into English foreign language classroom practice and how to maximize the students' exposure to suitable listening materials, which has been effectively adapted and reproduced, for the real classroom practice 展开更多
