文明之变,生民之化。"六稳六保"对我们确立大学公共价值有了生民论域的认识。我们从生民论域讨论大学的社会性、公共性,重新获得大学文化生民论域"六稳六保"文化机制。"六稳六保"从文明形态的基础性建立生民文化命题,是社会主义文明的全面回归:扎根群众,贴近现实,回归生民,改变历史。

Ecological Culture in Traditional Chinese Vernacular Dwellings

Traditional Chinese vernacular dwellings take root in farming culture with profound connotations. Through analyzing ecological thoughts and cultural ideas in traditional vernacular dwellings, this study aims to provide references for the design of modern vernacular dwellings. It is proposed in this study that ① Ecological thoughts of traditional vernacular dwellings include the simple eco-thought of 'human-nature oneness', Fengshui (traditional Chinese ideas hold that the location of a house or tomb is supposed to have an influence on the fortune of a family) theories of 'balance of yin and yang', energy-saving thought of 'making the best use of local advantages'. Traditional vernacular dwellings are mainly constructed according to local conditions, facing the sunny side and water, backing on the shady side and mountains, with local materials and suitable construction structures for local environment and climatic conditions, which enable residents to enjoy warm winter and cool summer, sufficient sunshine, excellent ventilation and heat-proof, wind and humidity proof, that is, a natural ecological living environment. ② Cultural thoughts of traditional vernacular dwellings include the strict and square philosophical ideas as well as harmonious artistic thoughts. Traditional Chinese vernacular dwellings demonstrate morals and ethics by strict and square patterns and strong sense of hierarchy, most of them have definite axes in spatial patterns to show the hierarchy and core of construction groups; abstract patterns of flower, grass, animal or human beings are also often applied in detailed designs, showing esthetic tastes. The formation of traditional Chinese vernacular dwellings has been closely linked with social and cultural factors, living habits, geographical, water and soil, environmental and climatic conditions as well as folk customs, which can provide significant references for the design and reformation of modern new-type vernacular dwellings.

Research on aesthetic charm of Qiang folk songs

Qiang folk songs are a form of expression of the ancient oral literature and mass creation, regardless of folk songs, work songs, custom songs, worship songs, etc., They mostly reflect the dominated public opinion of Qiang people from different historical periods and cultural life. Qiang folk songs are born with a strong national consciousness, national temperament and color. Through social and cultural changes, Qiang folk song forms its unique aesthetics in the language, form, emotion, mood and other aspects. Understanding and analyzing the aesthetic charm of Qiang folk songs helps to strengthen the Qiang heritage and intangible cultural heritage protection, and benefit rich folk culture of Chinese Qiang cognition.

Intercultural Interaction and Competence： Challenges Facing South African Children

South Africa is a country of many cultures. Before the first democratic elections in 1994, people of different cultures found it difficult to interact because of legislated racial segregation, which made it difficult for blacks to mix with whites in almost all spheres of life. The only place interaction could take place was in the workplace. As a result, children from different cultural groups had few opportunities to interact. This made it impossible for South African children to learn about the cultures of other racial groups. With the introduction of a democratic government, all segregation laws were relaxed and people mixed freely in all spheres of life. Intercultural communication became commonplace. This new scenario presented a challenge to many South African children, but despite the limits imposed before 1994, children from all racial groups associated successfully. Their ability to cope with this situation with so much more ease than adults was remarkable. This paper seeks to highlight the communication skills used by South African children from all cultural backgrounds to achieve intercultural competence in a relatively short space of time. The paper will further reflect on the impact made on African children by intercultural interaction and competence.

A Study of English Film Title Translation ---From the Perspective of Adaptation Theory

As the exchange between Chinese and Western cultures gets increasingly frequent, the English films have already become an indispensable kind of cultural ＂product＂ in Chinese people＇s lives. In the pursuit of box office today, a good English film title translation can not only attract more attention, but also become an important standard to judge a film＇s value. However, the translation of English film title has not got enough attention at home or abroad, and good translations of English film titles are few and far between. Based on requirements of English film title translation, this paper discusses problems in English film title translation, into which this paper applies adaptation theory to solving existing problems.

The Education ＆ Training and the Utilization of Multi-cultural Workforce

The international movement of workers and the inflow/outflow of immigrants are increasing, the term immigrant communities which country in the world is more familiar. Also, the country that accumulated a history of immigration over decades have been promoted while continuously changing the integration policies for immigrants. The immigration into home country such as the married immigrant women, etc. is constantly increasing in South Korea that had a homogeneous culture. While, it is continued to the overseas movement of young people looking for opportunities in foreign rather than domestic. In South Korea, the multi-cultural families are increasing together with the immigration of foreign workers, the marriage immigrants, etc. in accordance with the globalization of capital and labor, and the multi-cultural society is being formed in accordance with the influx of alien culture and various religious. In this paper, it explored the trends and the future outlook for the multi-cultural workforce in these dimensions. Also, in a multi-cultural society, it suggested the implications and the future assignments for the new changes in the education ＆ training and the employment in order to improve the quality of life and to use as the production entities of multi-cultural workforce.

Muhammad Dib and Algerian Resistance Literature

Modern Algerian literature, unique among Arab national literary traditions, features a cultural blend of Arabic, Berber and French influences. The literature reflects their love of Algerian culture and thought, and their revolt against French colonialism. The Algerian-born Arab author Muhammad Dib （1920-2003） wrote in French, mainly about the Algerian struggle for independence. Expelled in 1959 for supporting the Algerian revolution, he settled in Paris. Considered a pioneer of Algerian literature, he was the first Arab Algerian to write Western-style novels. His Algerian trilogy, La Grande Maison, L ＇lncendie, and Le Mktier ~ tisser, was published between 1952 and 1957. Though autobiographical, the books trace both rural and urban life in pre-revolutionary times. Dib＇s 1959 thematically driven novel Un Otd Africaine （An African Summer）, analyzed here, rather than depicting the Algerian revolution itself, describes its effect on the characters and their lives. Nevertheless, the novel, framed around a cross-section of Algerian society, reflects colonial government abuses and the common people＇s sacrifices for their dream of independence. Dib also depicts France＇s colonialist attitudes as a betrayal of the ideals of the French Revolution and claims to humanitarian values.

Foresters of the Cities, Citizens of the Forests： Cultural and Functional Perspectives for Forests Between Country and City

Thanks to the distinctive technological development of the Western world and to the development of the urbanization phenomenon （the 75% of the European population lives in urban centers）, an epochal change emerged as regards the perception and meaning of forests for the society during the last decades. This change has involved citizens from every aspect and level of social and public life： from politics to science, education and training. This change has of course affected all of the rural system as well. We lives in a new dimension with which forest culture must confront itself, in a moment in which one is quickly passing towards a metropolitan widespread culture, strongly characterized not by real experience with the forest environment but by a specific urban culture. This paper highlighted how necessary a complex and evolving reality like the present one is to promote adequate forms of participation and sharing in the choices concerning the territory （＂the future of all of us＂） and most of all the development of a new cultural identity and sense of territorial belonging that integrates the values of the rural system into the perception of a society that is becoming ever more urban.

Linguistic Justice and Dual Language Programs

This paper makes the case that education aimed at Hispanic or Latino children in the United States needs to recognize both their linguistic and cultural roots （raices） as well as the educational wings （alas）. The reason the author believes dual language programs could benefit all is due to the fact that if done properly, it should promote bilingualism, respect, and equity for all students in the school. Dual language programs are relatively new in the United States. These programs aim to create bilingual, bicultural students without sacrificing these students＇ success in school or beyond. Psychotherapy with American Indians

American Indians are a substantial minority in both the United States and Canada and present with a disproportionate share of mental health and behavioral health problems. While a large proportion of the native population resides on reservations that are self-managed and have few non-Indian residents, professional health services are mostly provided by clinicians from the dominant culture.
