It was observed that β-cyclodextrin and sodium houttuyfonate integrated at a radio of 1 : 1 by ESI-MS in the negative-ion mode. The relative intensity of the inclusion complex ion was 18% compared with β-cyclodextrin ion, and 20% compared with houttuyfonate ion, respectively. The results indicated that the inclusion complex was considerable steady in the gas phase. The mobilities of houttuyfonate were measured in solution with different concentration of β-cyclodextrin by capillary electrophoresis, and the logarithm of inclusion constant obtained from mobilities were 3. 845, indicated that the interaction of the houttuyfonate and β-cyclodextrin is strong.展开更多
