In order to explore the optimal phosphorus application rate of tobacco in Yongzhou area and provide scientific basis for the rational application of phosphorus fertilizer in tobacco production,field plot experiments w...In order to explore the optimal phosphorus application rate of tobacco in Yongzhou area and provide scientific basis for the rational application of phosphorus fertilizer in tobacco production,field plot experiments with 4 phosphorus application rates were conducted to study the effects of different phosphorus application rate on the growth period,agronomic characters and economic characters of tobacco.The results showed that when the nitrogen fertilizer,phosphorus fertilizer and potassium fertilizer was 135,135 and 418.5 kg/hm2,respectively,namely the ratio of 1∶1∶3.1,the field growth period was the shortest,only 107 d;the agronomic characters and physical indexes showed good results in their performance;the ratio of superior tobacco leaves,average price and output value were 49.36%、26.04 yuan/kg and 56064.12 yuan/hm2 respectively,significantly higher than that of other treatments.Therefore,the suitable phosphorus application in Yongzhou tobacco area was 135 kg/hm2.In conclusion,rational phosphorus application rate was conducive to accelerating the growth and development of tobacco plant and early harvest;it could also effectively increase the output value and yield of tobacco leaves and was more conducive to the formation of high-quality tobacco leaves.展开更多
The current study was to investigate the effects of cysteamine (CS) on carcass characteristics, meat quality, and antioxidant status in finishing pigs. A total of 24 crossbred (PIC variety) finishing pigs (60.05&...The current study was to investigate the effects of cysteamine (CS) on carcass characteristics, meat quality, and antioxidant status in finishing pigs. A total of 24 crossbred (PIC variety) finishing pigs (60.05±1.24 kg, 12 gilts and 12 barrows) were assigned randomly to one of the three dietary groups, with four pens/group (one gilt and one barrow per pen). Pigs were fed with a basal diet containing 0 (control), 70, or 140 mg/kg CS for 47 days. The results indicated that dietary CS supplementation increased (P〈0.05) the average daily gain and feed intake with optimal responses occurring at 70 mg/kg. Dietary supplementation of CS increased (P〈0.05) the dressing percentage and lean percentage of finishing pigs with optimal responses occurring at 140 mg/kg. The CS supplementation, however, had no effect (P〉0.05) on meat quality. Dietary CS supplementation increased (P〈0.05) total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) and decreased malondialdehyde (MDA) with optimal responses occurring at 70 mg/kg. CS supplementation at both 70 mg/kg and 140 mg/kg doses improved (P〈0.05) the muscle RNA/DNA ratio. Collectively, the results suggest dietary supplementation of 70 mg/kg CS could significantly improve growth performance and antioxidant status without adverse effects on the gastrointestinal tracts in finishing pigs while the 140 mg/kg CS supplementation improved the carcass quality. Daily weight gain and dry matter intake significantly affected by crossbreeding which were the highest in Afshari x Zandi group (0.180 ± 0.004 and 1.415 ±0.025, respectively), but it had no effect on feed conversion ratio. The genetic group affected final feedlot weight, empty body weight, warm carcass weight and carcass efficiency which Afshari ± Zandi group had higher amounts (44.70 ± 1.25 kg, 38.85 1.05 kg, 22.63 ± 0.95 kg and 58.63 ±0.77%, respectively). The breed of ram lambs had no significant effect on the percentage of thigh, loin, shoulder', brisket, fat tail, tallow and total removal fat; however the percentage of thigh was different between two crossbred groups.
