The effective combination of the insertion and swap operator is applied to producing neighborhood individual at the employed bee phase. The tournament selection is adopted to avoid falling into local optima, while, the optimized insert operator embeds in onlooker bee phase for further searching the neighborhood solution to enhance the local search ability of algorithm. The tournament selection with size 2 is again applied and a better selected solution will be performed destruction and construction of iterated greedy(IG) algorithm, and then the result replaces the worse one. Simulation results show that our algorithm has a better performance compared with the HDDE and CHS which were proposed recently. It provides the better known solutions for the makespan criterion to flow shop scheduling problem with limited buffers for the Car benchmark by Carlier and Rec benchmark by Reeves. The convergence curves show that the algorithm not only has faster convergence speed but also has better convergence value.展开更多

PMAs are highly non-linear pneumatic actuators where their elongation is proportional to the interval pressure. During the last decade, there has been an increase in the industrial and scientific utilization of PMAs, due to their advantages such as high strength and small weight, while various types of PMAs with different technical characteristics have appeared in the literature. This article will: (a) analyse the PMA's operation from a mathematical modeling perspective; (b) present their merits and drawbacks of the most common PMAs; and (c) establish the fundamental basis for developing industrial applications and conducting research in this field.展开更多

With more than 140 adult beetles and several hundred eggs and larvae, the infestation was by far the most extensive in Switzerland. Based on long-term experiences made in Braunau (Austria), where the first ALB infestation in Europe occured, the beetle was fought with extensive actions: removal of all infested trees, preventive removal of potential host trees and installation of a focus- and a buffer zone. Transport of plant material out of these zones was banned and a close monitoring regime including specialised dogs put in place. As a result of these efforts, there were no adult beetles and only a few living larvae detected 2013. Neither larvae nor beetles were found in 2014. However, costs are high: 700,000 Swiss francs were spent in 2012 alone, not including hundreds of working hours spent by employees of the Canton Zurich. The previewed monitoring programme between 2013 and 2017 is estimated to cost another 2.8 million Swiss francs, if no more living beetles are detected. The experiences from Winterthur thus show that elimination of a relatively small ALB infestation with determined actions is likely possible in short time. However, the high costs demonstrate the need for strong boarder controls or alternative packaging materials for imports from infested regions (China). In addition, a concept for small communities with limited resources is needed.展开更多

The lattice code used is the deterministic code APOLLO2, developed at CEA. The core code is the code COCAGNE, developed at EDF R&D. The latter can take advantage of a microscopic depletion solver expected to improve the treatment of spectral history effects. However, the direct use of the microscopic depletion solver is computationally very intensive because very small evolution steps (typically 100 MWd/t) are needed to reach a good accuracy, which is not always compatible with industrial applications. In order to reduce the calculation time associated with the use of the microscopic depletion solver, a predictor-corrector scheme has been implemented within COCAGNE. It enables the use of larger evolution steps, up to 1000 MWd/t. Tests show that the predictor-corrector procedure gives fairly accurate results while significantly reducing the calculation time.展开更多

文摘EDF R&D is developing a new calculation scheme based on the transport-Simplified Pn (SPn) approach. The lattice code used is the deterministic code APOLLO2, developed at CEA.
