On the Training Modes of Interdisciplinary and Application-oriented Talents of Business English

This paper focuses on the training modes of interdisciplinary and application-oriented talents of business English and the constructions of curriculum. In the light of our socialist market-oriented economy characteristics, the discussion proceeds, in theory and practice, by putting forward a relatively profound approach according to the trend in the demands for business English talents and to the operational patterns of business English discipline, with some suggestions about the training modes of interdisciplinary and application-oriented talents and the construction of curriculum.

Exploration of the profession-oriemed education in college English teaching in independent colleges

With the economic and social development of our country, the demand of all walks of life in our society on the compound talents who both master the professional knowledge and have the higher skills of English is increasing gradually. But at present, the graduates that the traditional teaching systems of the independent colleges which cultivate the application-oriented specialists cannot completely meet the requirement of the society. Therefore, colleges and universities should take the professional English ability as the core, and make the major reform from the teaching concepts of the college English teaching, the teaching models, and the teaching evaluation and so on, and establish the new system of college English teaching.

Reform of College English Teaching in Private Universities on the Basis of Cultivating Applied Talents

With the deepening of the reform of college English teaching in our country, the demand of the society for foreign language talents is diversified. The private universities aim to explore the new mode of college English teaching which is suitable for the cultivation of applied talents. On the basis of analyzing the existing problems of college English teaching in private universities, this paper proposes suggestive measures to enhance the construction of teaching staff, ameliorate the teaching and research level, improve the teaching methods and optimize the teaching effect, understand the students and tailor their learning, help them change their learning ideas and strengthen self- learning consciousness, so as to further deepen the reform of college English teaching.

Physical literacy in the field of physical education——A challenge and a possibility

Publications of articles with physical literacy as a topic have increased dramatically since the beginning of 2000 s. The aim of this paper is to,through an explorative literature overview with an inductive approach, analyze frequent, and significant themes in published peer reviewed articles,with a focus on physical literacy. The database EBSCO has been used with the identifiers “physical literacy” and “physical literacy and evidence”.Furthermore ICSSPE Bulletin＇s special issue on physical literacy has been included in the overview. The findings have resulted in three key themes： assumptions of the concept physical literacy and its educative role, sports development and physical literacy, and assessment and physical literacy. Future studies are needed to examine if the advocated pedagogical strategies based on the concept physical literacy have led to a reorganized and revitalized school subject. There is also an existing critique towards making physical literacy an idealistic neutral concept or synonym with fundamental movement skills or sports talent identification. The role of higher education emerges as crucial for the next step of the development of the scientific framework as this involves how physical literacy will be socially configured, nurtured, and embodied in practice.Copyright ó 2015, Shanghai University of Sport. Combining with the practice of HRM construction in Langfang Teachers University, based on the introduction about the necessity of construction of practice teaching system, the construction content, guarantee measures, and implementation effect of practice teaching system for the cultivation of applied talents of HRM are out forward in this paper, which is in favor of the cultivation of applied talents of HRM.

Strategies on Curriculum Reform of Hotel Management by Integrating Theory and Practice into Teaching

Integrating theory and practice into teaching is an advanced pedagogy, particularly suitable for the cultivation of applied talents in higher vocational colleges. In this paper, the author first discusses the connotation of the teaching method as integration of theory and practice and illustrates the background and significance of employing this teaching method in the curriculum reform of hotel management in higher vocational colleges. After that, the teaching content, methods as well as evaluation system are elaborated for implementing the integration of theory and practice teaching, and finally, some countermeasures are put forward for improving this teaching method.

Study on Mathematical Modeling Software MATLAB Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges

The present situation of the mathematics teaching in higher vocational colleges is not optimistic. In the new education system, it is an urgent problem for the mathematics teachers in higher vocational colleges to bring forth new ideas for the teaching methods, improve the students＇ interest in learning, and train the application-oriented talented personnel needed by the society. MATLAB software package can help set up a bridge and link for the mathematics teaching and the practical application. Its powerful numerical calculation ability can quickly solve all kinds of calculation problems, so that the basic thinking methods are more closely focused in mathematics teaching and also more conditions are created for mathematics teaching to combine the actual major conditions and life conditions. In this paper, the related problems in the implementation of mathematical modeling software MATLAB and model in higher vocational colleges are discussed.

Research on the autonomous cooperative teaching mode in higher Vocational colleges

The traditional teaching mode belittles practice and emphasis theory, regardless of the students’ enthusiasm and interest in learning. However, the educational objective of the higher vocational colleges is to cultivate practical talents. Therefore, the reformation and innovation of the higher vocational education teaching mode must be carried out. This research analyses the effect of autonomous cooperative teaching mode in higher vocational colleges. Proved by practice, the independent collaborative teaching mode can not only improve the learning atmosphere, but also improve student achievement, but also do well to students’ all-round development and enhance their comprehensive quality. It is worthwhile to promote and implement this mode in higher education institutions.

In an increasingly competitive environment, where new business practices are regularly introduced, organizations have to be innovative to survive. In the present competitive climate, knowledge is considered as the main distinguishing factor of business success, and it is seen as the foundation of organization＇s innovation. The emergence of knowledge-intensive society has changed the nature of business competition. Hence knowledge needs to be appropriately managed. Knowledge Management （KM） focuses on managing different knowledge processes such as acquiring, creating, storing, sharing, transferring and applying implicit and explicit knowledge with objective of product and process innovation, performance development and sustainable competitive advantage. This paper tries to demonstrate KM lead to promotion of innovation and performance when it is correctly supported by human resource management （HRM） and information technology （IT）. The questions we will try to investigate in this paper are： How knowledge in organizations can be managed？ What is the connection between HRM, IT and effective implementation knowledge management strategies and how these relationships affect on organizational goals？ For this means, this study ftrst states the importance of knowledge, KM process and introduces two strategies for managing knowledge （exploitative and explorative strategy）. Next, it demonstrates each strategy requires to desired facilitator to support them in action. Finally, with presenting of model, this study concludes that each one of strategy can cover some KM process. Hence for the effective implementation of knowledge management process, organizations have to utilize both strategies.
