随着科技的进步和人们生活水平的提高,能源消耗逐年增加,进而使得建筑节能问题在国内外备受关注。本次居民用电能耗调查的目的是了解大连市居住建筑的真实耗电情况,同时找到其用电规律,并提出有效的节能运行管理建议。本文一方面通过对... 随着科技的进步和人们生活水平的提高,能源消耗逐年增加,进而使得建筑节能问题在国内外备受关注。本次居民用电能耗调查的目的是了解大连市居住建筑的真实耗电情况,同时找到其用电规律,并提出有效的节能运行管理建议。本文一方面通过对大连市6处具有代表性的居民小区两年来的用电量进行持续的记录、统计、分析与比较,另一方面,通过调查问卷的方式了解了居民的整体用电习惯和特点,同时结合大连市的气候特征等多方面的因素,得到了大连市的用电能耗规律,大体上描述了该地区的附加采暖、空调能耗。另外通过对该地区居民用电规律的分析预测了未来几年的用电趋势变化情况,同时分析了目前的节能潜力,进而提出了相应的节能节电方案。 展开更多

Currently, in the course of serious environmental problems where the cause is anthropogenic, such as global wanning, not only the technology and policies but also the promotions of pro-environmental behavior are required. However, previous studies reported a gap between high environmental awareness and behavior. So to promote this practice, it is necessary to clarify the determinants that lead to practice. Because of the rapid economic growth in developing countries, including Vietnam, pollution problems and energy consumption are of major importance. This study aims to propose methods to promote pro-environmental practices based on a questionnaire and statistical analysis that investigated university students in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh city. From the factor analysis, in actions to do with the power-saving behavior of standby power and home electronics, and the use of air conditioning, four evaluation criteria including effectiveness, cost feasibility, convenience, and social norms are extracted. The covariance structure analysis showed that the evaluation of convenience represented the strongest causal relation to a given power-saving action, and the action, in turn, can lead to improvements in most practical activities so as to enhance their convenience. Finally, several methods to save energy are proposed based on the results of the questionnaire. 展开更多

The developments in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the country has rapidly happen after year 2009 .Government has developed many programs and initiations to develop ICT in the country after three decades of war was ended up. As a result disabled community can make many opportunities to use the ICT and at the same time create a gap, which is commonly referred to as Disability Digital Divide. The purpose of this study was to examine empirically the current status of adoption of ICT and in turn the digital divide resulting from which in the disability community in Sri Lanka and the factors affecting this behavior. A questionnaire and Interviewed based survey (n = 107) was carried out to collect the data from the disabled people who used ICT in the Colombo, Gampaha, and Kaluthara district. An empirical model was developed to show the relationship between the level of adoption of 10 basic, intermediate, and advanced ICT facilities and a number of factors to reflect the WWW, Smart phones, and Computer usage aspects of disabled community. Based on the Innovatiotr---Diffusion Theory, the status of Digital Divide of a disabled community was specified by means of an Index. The results show that this community did not become innovators or early-adopters of ICT by adopting WWW or computer related technologies but was mostly confined to the smart phone related facilities. The results from this study highlight that the income of a disabled person, awareness about the information and technology, interest of new technology usage, social and cultural background of a person, use of English language in day-to-day life give a significant impact on the adoption oflCT by the disabled community. 展开更多

The numbers of system failures, repair cost, guarantee, etc. are estimated by reliability estimation. In this paper reliability of a switching power supply, which is used for personal computers, is evaluated. It will show that the most of failure rates depends on power circuit because of more stresses and dissipations. Derating effect of devices on the failure rate is discussed. The use of GPR (ground penetrating radar) as an auxiliary tool in geotechnical and environmental site investigations has increased in Brazil during the past few years. GPR has been used to delineate contamination plumes, to aid in geological modelling, to detect buried structures and in archaeological surveys. This paper describes and discusses the results ofa GPR site investigation carried out at Gramacho Municipal Solid Waste Landfill in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. A field study was conducted to detect failure surfaces in its slopes and within the waste mass. The results have shown that: (l) Slip surfaces could be indicated by small continuous voids within the waste mass since there is a good contrast between the dielectric constant of air and municipal waste; (2) Greenhouse gases pools could also be indicated by large voids within the waste mass since there is a good contrast between the dielectric constant of carbon dioxide, methane and municipal waste; (3) Leachate pools present a high electric conductivity that could be easily detected by GPR. 展开更多
