随着电力系统数据采集手段的不断完善,基于数据的分析方法在电力系统运行分析中扮演着日益重要的角色。现有的数据分析方法主要分析数据之间的相关关系。事实上,两个强相关变量间通常呈现出不对称的因果关系。若能揭示电力系统运行变量...随着电力系统数据采集手段的不断完善,基于数据的分析方法在电力系统运行分析中扮演着日益重要的角色。现有的数据分析方法主要分析数据之间的相关关系。事实上,两个强相关变量间通常呈现出不对称的因果关系。若能揭示电力系统运行变量间的因果关系,必将有助于深刻地洞察电力系统运行的内在规律性。近年来,因果推断的研究取得很大进展,使得基于数据的因果分析成为可能。该文从物理机制上揭示电力系统中强相关变量之间因果关系的不对称属性;提出一种逆信息熵因果推理(reciprocal information entropy causal inference,RIECI)方法,所构建的指标不仅可以有效判别相关变量间的因果方向,还能正确反映因果强度。在电力系统算例中的验证表明,RIECI方法能有效揭示电力系统运行数据中的因果关系。对电力系统运行数据中因果关系的分析对于认知电力系统运行机理和正确调控电力系统运行状态有重要意义。展开更多
Based on the measured data of geomagnetically induced currents (GIC) in Guangdong Ling' ao 500 kV power networks during several magnetic storms at the peak years of 23rd Solar Cycle, the GIC calculation results of ...Based on the measured data of geomagnetically induced currents (GIC) in Guangdong Ling' ao 500 kV power networks during several magnetic storms at the peak years of 23rd Solar Cycle, the GIC calculation results of 750 kV planning power grid in Shartxi, Gansu, Qinghai and Ningxia, the structure and characteristics of power networks from 500 kV to 1 000 kV, and super magnetic storm in 1859 are analyzed in this paper. Through the analysis, the possible impacts of extreme space weather on the future ultra-high voltage (UHV) grid, the security of large-scale power system in China are expounded, and the research suggestions coping with the strong solar storms are proposed.展开更多

With the continuous maturity of low-voltage power line communication (PLC), this leads us to see hopes of using PLC technology to realize remote meter reading. The algorithm, which employs the faulted phase network and zero-sequence netwo...An accurate algorithm for fault location of double phase-to-earth fault on transmission line of direct ground neutral system is presented. The algorithm, which employs the faulted phase network and zero-sequence network as fault-location model in which the source impedance at the remote end is not involved, ef-fectively eliminates the effect of load flow and fault resistance on the accuracy of fault location. The algorithm achieves accurate location by measuring only one local end data and is used in a procedure that provides automatic determination of faulted types and phases, and does not require the engineer to specify them. Simulation results showed the effectiveness of the algorithm under the condition of double phase-to-earth fault.展开更多
Germany's energy system is in transition towards less nuclear, lower carbon emissions and more renewables. Notwithstanding widespread neglect of its European dimension, this Energiewende will further exacerbate curre...Germany's energy system is in transition towards less nuclear, lower carbon emissions and more renewables. Notwithstanding widespread neglect of its European dimension, this Energiewende will further exacerbate current network fluctuations due to the significant increase in wind and solar power. Key data from Denmark show that this transition will soon bring the German national power system to its limits for absorbing the resulting intermittency, and increase the need for more cross-border power transfers. Yet network analysis of import/export data shows that Germany's position in the European power system is contrary to the Danish case. The need for a European solution for Germany's energy transition will therefore soon become evident. In order to establish the necessary infrastructure, the Energiewende needs hence to be guided by an economic approach designed to prevent further fractures in the Internal Electricity Market. Constructive negotiations with neighbouring countries on market designs and price signals will be important preconditions. The article emphasizes the still neglected European paradox of Germany's energy transition and presents working examples and possible solutions to uphold electricity supply in Europe's power house.展开更多

A new parameter estimation method based on data mining technology was proposed. The clustering method was used to classify the historical data in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) database as several types. The data processing technology was implied to treat the isolated point, missing data and yawp data in samples for classified groups. The measurement data which belong to each classification were introduced to the linear regression equation in order to gain the regression coefficient and actual parameters by the least square method. A practical system demonstrates the high correctness, reliability and strong practicability of the proposed method.展开更多
