PVA/PAA复合膜电响应特性的研究

通过研究PVA/PAA复合膜红外光谱特性,扫描电镜分析,及电场作用下膜通量的变化,阐明了PVA/PAA复合膜的电响应特性和规律。研究结果表明:制备的PVA/PAA复合膜中PVA与戊二醛已经发生交联反应形成酯键;-COOH基团的离子化是产生电响应的必要... 通过研究PVA/PAA复合膜红外光谱特性,扫描电镜分析,及电场作用下膜通量的变化,阐明了PVA/PAA复合膜的电响应特性和规律。研究结果表明:制备的PVA/PAA复合膜中PVA与戊二醛已经发生交联反应形成酯键;-COOH基团的离子化是产生电响应的必要条件。随着PAA含量的增加,膜通量也明显的增加,表明体系中离子基团的数量(浓度)能够强烈影响PVA复合膜的直流电响应性;随着电场强度的增大,膜通量增加;在离子强度小于0.01mol/L时,膜通量随离子强度的增加而增加,但当离子强度大于0.01mol/L时,膜通量则呈现下降的趋势。在实验条件下,比较理想电响应条件为PVA∶PAA=1∶1,溶液离子强度为0.01mol/L。 展开更多

We propose an electronic model in Spice, instead of traditional mathematical analysis, for analyzing the performance of ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) under various working conditions. Using this equivalent circuit model,it is easy to simulate and analyze the behavior of an FLC layer in three different typical parameters,including temperature, input light wavelength, and the frequency of driving voltage. We conclude that the response velocity drops as the wavelength increases in the range of visible light, and for the parameter of temperature, the velocity reaches its lowest value when the temperature reaches a certain degree,meanwhile,the frequency of driving voltage exerts important effects on the response velocity only when the frequency is beyond a critical value. Excellent agreement is achieved between simulation and experimental results. 展开更多

In this paper the conception of smart materials and structures is firstly combined with research of air bag,and the main theory of self adapting cushioning of intelligent air bag is expatiated.The intelligent venting structure is the main part affecting the cushioning result.Electrostrictive material was found having big force,high response speed and wide linearity,and it is fit to utilize in intelligent venting structure. The characteristic of the dynamic response and cushioning actuating of an electrostrictive stack actuator is analyzed,and the result of the computer simulation of the fuzzy control to intelligent venting structure is given.It is concluded that intelligent venting structure has good actuating characteristic and can satisfy the need of intelligent air bag. 展开更多

Aluminum nitride (AlN) nanobelts were successfully synthesized in high yield through a chloride assisted vapor-solid process. X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and selected area electronic diffraction demonstrate that the as-prepared nanobelts are pure, structurally uniform and single crystalline, and can be indexed to hexagonal wurtzite structure. The micro observations show that there exist no defects in the obtained nanobelts. The growth direction of the nanobelts is along [0001]. The frequency spectra of the relative dielectric constant and of the dielectric loss were measured in the frequency range of 50 Hz to 5 MHz. Analysis of these spectra indicates that the interface in samples has great influence on the dielectric behavior of samples. As compared with AlN micropowders, AlN nanobelts have much higher relative dielectric constant, especially at low frequencies at room temperature. 展开更多

Aluminum and ferric coagulants are widely used in surface water treatment. The SC response characteristics of P AlCl 3 aluminum coagulant and P FeCl 3 ferric coagulant were investigated in this work. Bench scale water treatment results were obtained from jar tests including rapid mixing, flocculation and undisturbed sedimentation. Photocatalytic method has been intensively explored for Cr(VI)reduction owing to its efficient and environmentally friendly natures.In order to obtain a high efficiency in practical application,efficient photocatalysts need to be developed.Here,ZnIn2S4/SnS2 with a three-dimensional(3D)heterostructure was prepared by a hydrothermal method and its photocatalytic performance in Cr(VI)reduction was investigated.When the mass ratio of SnS2 to ZnIn2S4 is 1:10,the ZnIn2S4/SnS2 composite exhibits the highest photocatalytic activity with 100%efficiency for Cr(VI)(50 mg/L)reduction within 70 min under visible-light irradiation,which is much higher than those of pure ZnIn2S4 and SnS2.The enhanced charge separation and the light absorption have been confirmed from the photoluminescence and UV-vis absorption spectra to be the two reasons for the increased activity towards photocatalytic Cr(VI)reduction.In addition,after three cycles of testing,no obvious degradation is observed with the 3D heterostructured ZnIn2S4/SnS2,which maintains a good photocatalytic stability. 展开更多

The earthquake resistance of transmission tower has been often discussed from the viewpoint of reinforcing the foundation of steel tower, but there are also few studies considering the damping characteristics of the tower. This paper focuses on the viscous damper which has been adopted for seismic reinforcement of bridges in recent years. The purpose of this study is to improve the seismic performance of steel tower by giving the high damping to the tower. We construct a single tower model considering the influence of transmission line, and then simulate the vibration characteristics and seismic behavior of the tower by the eigenvalue analysis and the dynamic response analysis. The results show that the transmission tower with viscous damper can reduce its own response effectively and drastically. This research concludes that it is necessary to consider the extreme increase of steel tower's response depending on the seismic wave and the collapse of steel tower can be avoided by using the optimum damper in the design of the transmission tower. 展开更多

This paper describes the experimental study on shock response of FDB (fluid dynamic bearing) spindle for HDDs (hard disk drives). The FDBs are widely used as rotating shaft support elements for HDD spindle motors. Recently, the opportunity for the HDD spindle motors exposed to external vibration has been increasing because the HDDs are used for various information related equipment such as mobile PCs (personal computers), video cameras, car navigation systems and so on. Hence, the rotating shaft has a possibility to come in contact with the bearing by external shocks and it causes wear or seizure to the bearing surface. To avoid the problem, it is extremely important to know how the spindle moves against the large shock on HDDs experimentally. However, as far as the authors know, there are few experimental studies treating the shock response of HDD spindles. In this paper, firstly, we propose a new test rig and experimental method for shock response of FDB spindles. Then the shock tests against the radial and axial disturbance on FDB spindle for 2.5" HDD are conducted. It is found that several layer-phase group-III monochalcogenides, including GaS, GaSe, and InSe, are piezoelectric in their monolayer form. First-principles calculations reveal that the piezoelectric coefficients of monolayer GaS, GaSe, and InSe (2.06, 2.30, and 1.46 pm-V-1) are of the same order of magnitude as previously discovered two-dimensional (2D) piezoelectric materials such as boron nitride (BN) and MoS2 monolayers. This study therefore indicates that a strong piezoelectric response can be obtained in a wide range of two-dimensional materials with broken inversion symmetry. The co-existence of piezoelectricity and superior photo-sensitivity in these monochalcogenide monolayer semiconductors means they have the potential to allow for the integration of electromechanical and optical sensors on the same material platform. 展开更多

Flexible and broadband photodetectors have drawn extensive attention due to their potential application in foldable displays, optical communications, environmental monitoring, etc. In this work, a flexible photodetector based on the crystalline PbS quantum dots(QDs)/ZnO nanoparticles(NPs) heterostructure was proposed. The photodetector exhibits a broadband response from ultraviolet-visible(UV-Vis)to near infrared detector(NIR) range with a remarkable current on/off ratio of 7.08×10^3under 375 nm light illumination.Compared with pure ZnO NPs, the heterostructure photodetector shows the three orders of magnitude higher responsivity in Vis and NIR range, and maintains its performance in the UV range simultaneously. The photodetector demonstrates a high responsivity and detectivity of4.54 A W-1and 3.98×10^12Jones. In addition, the flexible photodetectors exhibit excellent durability and stability even after hundreds of times bending. This work paves a promising way for constructing next-generation high-performance flexible and broadband optoelectronic devices. 展开更多

According to the response characteristics of the solenoid valve, an improved design becomes a necessity. Firstly, the numerical model was established after analyzing the solenoid valve during its start-up and shut-down. Comparing the simulation data with the practical data, it is verified that the numerical simulation model has a high feasibility. Secondly, excitation voltage and spring pre-compression were adjusted respectively, and the response rules after adjusting were investigated. The research of the study shows: the response time tends to be inverse proportional to the excitation voltage during start-up, and it becomes a constant value with the increase of the excitation voltage; the response time is proportional to the spring pre-compression when the solenoid valve starts up, it is inverse proportional to spring pre-compression when the solenoid valve shuts down. And the total response time is a constant value with the increase of the spring pre-compression. Therefore, the value of the excitation voltage and the spring pre-compression should be selected when the curve is becoming flatten. The results of the research can provide the reference to the further development of the solenoid valve. 展开更多

Smart proton conductive metal-organic framework(MOF) membranes with dynamic remote control over proton conduction show high potential for use in advanced applications, such as sensors and bioprocesses. Here, we report a photoswitchable proton conductive ZIF-8 membrane by coencapsulating polystyrene sulfonate and graphene quantum dots into a ZIF-8 matrix(GQDs-PSS@ZIF-8) via a solidconfined conversion process. The proton conductivity of the GQDs-PSS@ZIF-8 membrane is 6.3 times higher than that of pristine ZIF-8 and can be reversibly switched by light due to photoluminescence quenching and the photothermal conversion effect, which converts light into heat. The local increase in temperature allows water molecules to escape from the porous channels, which cuts off the proton transport pathways and results in a decrease in proton conductivity. The proton conductivity is restored when the light is off owing to regaining water molecules, which act as proton carriers, from the surroundings. The GQDs-PSS@ZIF-8 membrane responds efficiently to light and exhibits an ON/OFF ratio of 12.8. This photogated proton conduction in MOFs has potential for the development and application of MOF-based protonic solids in advanced photoelectric devices. 展开更多

Cd3As2 is an important II-V group semiconductor with excellent electrical and optoelectronic properties. In this work, we report the large scale growth of single-crystalline Cd3As2 nanowires via a simple chemical vapor deposition method. Single nanowire field-effect transistors were fabricated with the as-grown Cd3As2 nanowires, which exhibited a high lon/loff of 104 with a hole mobility of 6.02 cm2V-1s-1. Photoresponse properties of the Cd3As2 nanowires were also investigated by illuminating the nanowires with white light by varying intensities. Besides, flexible photodetectors were also fabricated on flexible PET substrate, showing excellent mechanical stablility and flexible electro-optical properties under various bending states and bending cycles. A new type of ultraviolet photo-detectors (UVPDs) based on a bundle of highly aligned SiC nanowires was fabricated and the photo-electric properties of the UVPDs including 1-V characteristics and time response were studied in this work. SiC nan- owires were prepared by pyrolysis of a polymer precursor with ferrocene as the catalyst by a CVD route. The diameters of SiC nanowires varied from 100 to 200 nm while they were some centimeters long and the SiC nanowires were with zinc blended cubic form (β-SiC) tested by X-ray diffraction. A bundle of nanowires was fixed onto two legs' base by conductive silver paste to form the UVPDs. The electrical measurement of the device showed a significant increase of current when the device was exposed to 254 nm UV light, and the rising time of the device is very short, but the falling time is relatively long. Our results show that the UVPDs based on SiC nanowires have excellent electrical and optical properties which can be potentially applied. 展开更多

Intrinsic carrier transport properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes have been probed by two parallel methods on the same individual tubes: The contactless dielectric force microscopy (DFM) technique and the conventional field-effect transistor (FET) method. The dielectric responses of SWNTs are strongly correlated with electronic transport of the corresponding FETs. The DC bias voltage in DFM plays a role analogous to the gate voltage in FET. A microscopic model based on the general continuity equation and numerical simulation is built to reveal the link between intrinsic properties such as carrier concentration and mobility and the macroscopic observable, i.e. dielectric responses, in DFM experiments. Local transport barriers in nanotubes, which influence the device transport behaviors, are also detected with nanometer scale resolution. 展开更多
