We focused on the e-assessment in college English writing issue from an online assessment tool perspective. Different from previous inquiries, this research addressed the importance of e-assessment in the study of college English writing. In particular, we aim to examine the importance of the e-assessment. We start with a brief introduction of e-assessment. An additional discussion of the use of e-assessment is also provided. We end the study with the conclusion that e-assessment plays an important role in college English writing. We identify in our study that the forms and the effectiveness of assessment in writhing have direct effect on learners' understanding of the curriculum of college English writing and determine their capacity to make advances in college English writing. As a result, we can propose that e-assessment plays a critical role in the learning experience in college English writing. 展开更多

In recent years, some teachers have introdnced it into university teaching. Characteristics and demands of fine arts education internship ask for application of the form of electronic portfolio internship for teaching evaluation, enabling instructors to make internship preparation for students' internship period. Teaching experience accumulation and reflection could bring a more systematic and comprehensive evaluation of teaching and internship can enhance internship students' awareness of the importance of internship, and make good sorting in internship effectively. Self-reflection and conclusion are conducive to exchange of internship experience, promotion of learning ability and cultivation of a good learning attitude of life-long learning. In internship evaluation, teachers can determine evaluation objectives by applying the electronic portfolio to help students select portfolio of internship, gather the information needed in teaching, make teaching recommendations, solve practical teaching problems, and finally make a multivariate evaluation of internship students, to really make art education internship contribute to students. 展开更多

The core of deepening medical teaching reform is to break the traditional teaching model (i.e. giving a lecture), and create a better classroom teaching situation by making full use of the modern teaching methods. In B-learning, the effective combination of the traditional teaching method' s advantages with the E-learning in a pure technical environment is advocated. In the task-driven teaching, a teaching design is made by students in a real or simulated real environment. It proceeds to examine various dilemmas involved in communicating with others via social media tools. Historic boundary issues between students and faculty are discussed, as well as emerging dilemmas that are becoming prevalent within electronic communicative networks (e.g., Skype, Facebook, Myspace, Linkedln, Twitter, and Texting). The need for policy guidelines within academic environments in the use of social media is emphasized, Similar to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics, Arizona State University (ASU) is cited as a model in providing some structure regarding staff responsibility and unethical conduct within its academic setting. An enhancement of these guidelines to include electronic communication is recommended. Guidance is necessary to promote responsible communication, as the right to privacy, freedom of speech, and anonymity are all illusions of invulnerability. 展开更多

Despite the efforts by Ministry of Education to promote Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education in Malaysia, the Islamic education syllabus is far behind the intended plan in ICT usage in learning and teaching. Concern was raised that Islamic Studies faced the risk of being misunderstood if the lessons were taught through self-accessing method with minimal intervention from teachers. Using the Dick and Carey instructional model as a framework, an e-learning version was devised for the national Form 4 Islamic Studies syllabus, "The steps and procedures of Hajj and Umrah". The Islamic Studies textbook for national secondary schools in Malaysia was reviewed using a systematic approach, from identifying the instructional goal through to formative and summative evaluation processes. Interview sessions with students were conducted to assess the developed e-learning Islamic Studies content. A subsequent survey with students was conducted. Results from the study indicated the e-learning Islamic Studies content had the potential to help students, being easy to use, and attracting and retaining students' attention. 展开更多
