Highly ordered arrays of binary Co 55 Ni 45 alloy nanorods with Co 55 Ni 45 morphology were prepared by direct current electro-deposition using polycarbonate(PC) membrane template.The transmission electron microscop...Highly ordered arrays of binary Co 55 Ni 45 alloy nanorods with Co 55 Ni 45 morphology were prepared by direct current electro-deposition using polycarbonate(PC) membrane template.The transmission electron microscope and scanning electron microscope observations revealed conical morphology of the nanorods.The two ends of nanorod arrays had diameters of 200 nm and 320 nm, respectively,and the nanorod arrays could be as long as 6~7 μm. The diameter of nanorod arrays depended strongly on pore diameter in PC membrane and the lengths were decided by plating parameters such as voltage, pH value, plating time and other deposition parameters. The magnetic properties and mechanism of crystals nucleation and growth in binary Co55Ni45 alloy nanorod arrays were also studied.展开更多
