The results show that the critical radius of the pores decreases with increasing the magnetic density linearly when the traveling magnetic field is applied during solidification, and the use of traveling magnetic field promotes the heterogeneous nucleation of pores. After the gas dissolved in the metal liquid accumulates to form large bubbles, the traveling magnetic field forces the bubbles to the surface of molten metal, so the gas is easy to separate from the melt in the liquid stage. The number of pores in the sample decreases with increasing the intensity of traveling magnetic field.展开更多

First, its structural characteristics, winding connection mode and turn number ratio for special phase shifting are investigated. Secondly, the balance formulation of harmonic magneto-motive forces is derived and the electromagnetic filtering principle of the DOPSDT is introduced. The harmonic mitigating performance under different nonlinear load conditions are also analyzed using the field-circuit coupled method, The analysis results show that the DOPSDT can mitigate the primary current distortion even under severe nonlinear load conditions. By applying the zero sequence flux cancellation and phase-shift techniques at their secondary windings, the DOPSDT can significantly reduce the 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 15th, 17th and 19th harmonics within its secondary windings.展开更多

In this study, we propose a method to separate the main part from the anomalous field of marine controlled-source electromagnetic method (MCSEM) data based on Stratton-Chu integral transforms to eliminate the airwave effect, which dominates observed electromagnetic (EM) response in shallow seawater. This method of separating the main part from the anomalous field is a type of finite impulse response filter based on a discrete data set. Theoretical analysis proved that the method is stable and able to effectively depress noise. A numerical test indicated that the method could successfully eliminate the airwave effect from the observed EM signals generated by an air water interface and a seawater layer. This technique is applicable for seawater models with either flat or rough seabeds.展开更多

A general method of calculation is presented. The results are interesting. For example, if the wave packet is very narrow or/and the interaction is very strong, no matter the atom is initially in its ground state or excited state, the atomic inversion approaches zero as time approaches infinity. If the atom is initially in its ground state and excited state with the probability 1/2 respectively, and if the momentum density is an even function, then the atomic inversion equals zero at any time.展开更多

LSM reduces the migration artifacts, enhances the spatial resolution of the migrated images, and yields a more accurate subsurface reflectivity distribution than that of standard migration. The introduction of regularization constraints effectively improves the stability of the least-squares offset. The commonly used regularization terms are based on the L2-norm, which smooths the migration results, e.g., by smearing the reflectivities, while providing stability. However, in exploration geophysics, reflection structures based on velocity and density are generally observed to be discontinuous in depth, illustrating sparse reflectance. To obtain a sparse migration profile, we propose the super-resolution least-squares Kirchhoff prestack depth migration by solving the L0-norm-constrained optimization problem. Additionally, we introduce a two-stage iterative soft and hard thresholding algorithm to retrieve the super-resolution reflectivity distribution. Further, the proposed algorithm is applied to complex synthetic data. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the proposed algorithm to noise and the dominant frequency of the source wavelet was evaluated. Finally, we conclude that the proposed method improves the spatial resolution and achieves impulse-like reflectivity distribution and can be applied to structural interpretations and complex subsurface imaging.展开更多

The studies are first derived in the time domain: a Finite-Difference Time-Domain method is applied, taking spectra via FFTs (Fast Fourier Transform) as post-processors. Electric and magnetic field distributions, pulse propagations along stripline structures or vias are highlighted. The scattering parameters for various cases are extracted and compared. Some original issue of this work is an insight on crosstalk or shielding phenomena between lines.展开更多
