According to the simulative results, the attenuation-absorption coefficient were calculated respectively based on field intensity and frequency shift parameter. Research result indicates, when coal-bed contains high electric resistivity geological abnormal object or low electric resistivity geological abnormal object, absorption attenuation function researched by frequency shift parameter of electromagnetic wave signal is more sensitive than by electromagnetic field intensity parameter.展开更多

The conductive wire has specific variable material properties along the length of itself. Furthermore, material properties varying along the length of the wire are determined according to a specific mathematical function. In addition, the central finite difference method is applied to the Maxwell equations. The accuracy of the mode 1 frequency parameter is obtained to be 0.06%. This result can be obtained by assuming the number of conductive wire nodes 20. The obtained results show a very good agreement with the exact solution results.展开更多

The present paper investigates the influence of a single frequency electromagnetic wave on the energy spectrum of the nonpolariton system. We find that the wave can lead to an energy shift of nonpolaritons. Moreover, we calculate the first-order energy shift on certain conditions.展开更多

According to the characteristics of the explosion-induced ground shock wave, a new-type damper, inverse control magneto-rheological(MR) damper was designed to control the vibration, The high-frequency performance test of the MR damper was carried out on the small shaking table. It is shown that the performance can be modeled by use of the modified Bouc-Wen model, and the Parameters of the model keep stable in the range of 15--50 Hz.展开更多

Arrays of standard commercial fluoresoent lamp placed directly against each other in two rows are used to produce a plasma layer. Attenuations of microwave by plasma layer are studied experimentally in the frequencies of 1--8 C44z using a synthesized signal generator and a spectnnn analyzer. Two wavepolarizations are trader investigation: dectric field of the wave is either parallel ( E -wave) or perpendicular (H-wave) to the fluorescent lamp axis. The electron number density and the electron-neutral collision frequency of fluorescent lamp plasma are obtained by microwave diagnostics, for the purpose of analyzing microwave scattering characteristics by plasma.展开更多
