Fast estimation of fundamental matrix based on stripe constraints

In order to improve the performance of estimating the fundamental matrix, a key problem arising in stereo vision, a novel method based on stripe constraints is presented. In contrast to traditional methods based on algebraic least-square algorithms, the proposed approach aims to minimize a cost function that is derived from the minimum radius of the Hough transform. In a structured-light system with a particular stripe code pattern, there are linear constraints that the points with the same code are on the same surface. Using the Hough transform, the pixels with the same code map to the Hough space, and the radius of the intersections can be defined as the evaluation function in the optimization progress. The global optimum solution of the fundamental matrix can be estimated using a Levenberg- Marquardt optimization iterative process based on the Hough transform radius. Results illustrate the validity of this algorithm, and prove that this method can obtain good performance with high efficiency. 展开更多

In order to improve the accuracy of threaded hole object detection,combining a dual camera vision system with the Hough transform circle detection,we propose an object detection method of artifact threaded hole based on Faster region-ased convolutional neural network(Faster R-CNN).First,a dual camera image acquisition system is established.One industrial camera placed at a high position is responsible for collecting the whole image of the workpiece,and the suspected screw hole position on the workpiece can be preliminarily selected by Hough transform detection algorithm.Then,the other industrial camera is responsible for collecting the local images of the suspected screw holes that have been detected by Hough transform one by one.After that,ResNet50-based Faster R-CNN object detection model is trained on the self-built screw hole data set.Finally,the local image of the threaded hole is input into the trained Faster R-CNN object detection model for further identification and location.The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively avoid small object detection of threaded holes,and compared with the method that only uses Hough transform or Faster RCNN object detection alone,it has high recognition and positioning accuracy. 展开更多

Traditional texture region location methods with Gabor features are often limited in the selection of Gabor filters and fail to deal with the target which contains both texture and non-texture parts.Thus,to solve this problem,a two-step new model was proposed.In the first step,the original features extracted by Gabor filters are applied to training a self-organizing map(SOM) neural network and a novel merging scheme is presented to achieve the clustering.A back propagation(BP) network is used as a classifier to locate the target region approximately.In the second step,Chan-Vese active contour model is applied to detecting the boundary of the target region accurately and morphological processing is used to create a connected domain whose convex hull can cover the target region.In the experiments,the proposed method is demonstrated accurate and robust in localizing target on texture database and practical barcode location system as well. 展开更多

The asymptotic value q2a is suggested to be a function of crack-tip mesh size to overcome mesh dependency of J-R and load-displacement curves. The caterpillar Spodopterafrugiperda is an important pest of several crops, due to the damage it causes and the difficulty of its control. The method of controlling these pests is through chemical insecticides, which cause adverse effects to the biotic and abiotic environment. The selection of new insecticides that meet the requirements of efficacy, safety, selectivity and those are economically viable, is highlighting the study of mechanisms of plant defense. The present study aimed to verify the insecticide effect of 27 plants in three different types of plants extracts: aqueous, decoction and polypeptide on S. frugiperda. Three plants were chosen for performing sublethal effects bioassays: two plants with the highest corrected mortality (E. pulcherrima and R. simsii) and the other plant (Maytenus ilicifolia (espinheira santa)) with corrected mortality similar to control. In preliminaries bioassays, 25 plants showed corrected mortality less than 50%, according to Abbott's formula. R. simsii (azalea) and E. pulcherrima (billed parrot) showed 51% and 68% of corrected mortality, respectively. Only R. simsii aqueous and the three extracts of E. pulcherrima differ significantly from control (P 〈 0.05). The aqueous extracts and decoction of R. simsii and polypeptide extract of E. pulcherrima reduced the larval period of S. frugiperda, different from control (P 〈 0.05). The polypeptide extract of R. simsii reduced the pupal period of the target insect. The extracts obtained by decoction, aqueous and polypeptide of E. pulcherrima extracts and decoction of polypeptides and R. simsii affected the fertility and fecundity of S. frugiperda. For the other parameters, there is no significant difference when compared with the control. The results of this study suggest that the extracts obtained by decoction, aqueous and polypeptide of E. pulcherrima and R. simsii can be used to control S. frugiperda. However, the successful search, product starting from extracts of plants depends on the availability of plant and the entire assembly around the detection of bioactive products, in addition to the active ingredients of the chemical synthesis and elucidation of the target site insecticide molecule. 展开更多

Two species-specific primers were designed depending on ITS2 sequence variation of 37 Trichogramma wasps, and these primers were applied to establish an assay,multiplex PCR (M-PCR), for molecular diagnosis of two important Trichogramma wasps,T. confusum and T. dendrolimi, in China. Multiplex-PCR results showed that only target species produced two PCR products, one product of ITS2 region species-specific amplification and one product of its ITS 1 region universal amplification, but other species produced only one ITS1 universal PCR product. Using this method, the target Trichogramma species can be distinguished from other Trichogramma species. Molecular identification based on M-PCR has particular value over morphological technology and other approaches, such as normal molecular and biochemical methods. Furthermore, because M-PCR assay can avoid false negative results, which frequently happen in PCR reaction, this method will be much more accurate and useful for Trichogramma identification, and can be developed as an easy and rapid diagnostic kit applied in the identification and quality monitoring of Trichogramma mass products both in the factory and in the field. Such an easy and rapid diagnostic kit will be valuable in the application of Trichogramma species as a biological control. 展开更多
