With the TiB2−SiC powders after spray granulation and vacuum calcination as raw materials,the TiB2−SiC coating was prepared by supersonic atmospheric plasma spraying(SAPS).The effects of spraying power and spraying di...With the TiB2−SiC powders after spray granulation and vacuum calcination as raw materials,the TiB2−SiC coating was prepared by supersonic atmospheric plasma spraying(SAPS).The effects of spraying power and spraying distance on the properties of the TiB2−SiC coating were investigated and the fabrication processing of SAPS was optimized.The results show that the sprayed powders after calcination have a uniform particle size distribution,good sphericity and enhanced fluidity.The coating prepared by the calcined powders has a dense structure and high deposition efficiency.When the calcined TiB2−SiC powders are used and the spraying power is 95 kW and the spraying distance is 150 mm during supersonic plasma spraying,the obtained TiB2−SiC coating behaves the best comprehensive performance with the porosity,microhardness,bonding strength and resistivity equal to 5.6%,3.57 GPa,18.3 MPa and 10.8 mΩ·cm,respectively.展开更多

TiAlN multilayer coatings composed of TiAl and TiAlN layers were deposited on ZL109 alloys using filtered cathodic vacuum arc(FCVA)technology.The effect of bias voltage on the microstructure and properties of the coat...TiAlN multilayer coatings composed of TiAl and TiAlN layers were deposited on ZL109 alloys using filtered cathodic vacuum arc(FCVA)technology.The effect of bias voltage on the microstructure and properties of the coating was systematically studied.The results show that the coating exhibits a multi-phase structure dominated by TiAlN phase.As the bias voltage increases,the orientation of TiAlN changes from(200)plane to(111)plane due to the increase of atomic mobility and lattice distortion.The hardness,elastic modulus and adhesion of the coating show the same trend of change,that is,first increase and then decrease.When the bias voltage is 75 V,the coating exhibits the highest hardness(~30.3 GPa),elastic modulus(~229.1 GPa),adhesion(HF 2)and the lowest wear rate(~4.44×10^(−5)mm^(3)/(N·m)).Compared with bare ZL109 alloy,the mechanical and tribological properties of TiAlN coated alloy surface can effectively be improved.展开更多

A combined process of molten salt electro-deoxidation and vacuum hot-pressing sintering was proposed to prepare AlCrFeNiTi_(x) high-entropy alloy(HEA)-TiN ceramic coating composites on low-carbon steel surfaces,where ...A combined process of molten salt electro-deoxidation and vacuum hot-pressing sintering was proposed to prepare AlCrFeNiTi_(x) high-entropy alloy(HEA)-TiN ceramic coating composites on low-carbon steel surfaces,where nitrides were introduced from BN isolater between graphite mold and HEA powders.The effect of Ti content on the microstructure,ultimate tensile strength,hardness,and wear resistance of the composites was investigated,and the bonding mechanism was elucidated.Results demonstrate that the composites have excellent hardness and wear resistance.The hardness of composites is significantly increased with the increase in Ti content.The extremely high wear resistance is attributed to the extremely high melting point and high thermal hardness of TiN,which can effectively prevent oxidation deformation of the worn surface.展开更多
