Each pha...This paper reviews and analyzes the achievements of Chinese empirical accounting research during more than ten years. The development of Chinese empirical accounting research can be divided into three phases. Each phase has its different characteristics. The fields of Chinese empirical accounting research include： the efficient market, the choice of accounting policies, financial crisis warning, stock dividend policy, earnings management, capital structure, auditing opinions, asset reorganization and merger, international accounting harmonization. This paper tries to analyze some basic essential factors of Chinese empirical accounting research such as hypothesis, sample and data, methods, conclusion and so on. We find that it is necessary to strengthen empirical accounting research in order to make up the shortcomings of traditional normative research. However, the current research has some limitations. （1） Some Chinese empirical accounting articles directly select samples and data to test without literature reviews, theory analysis and hypothesis; （2） The time of selected samples is shot; （3） Some articles utilize variables to represent certain concepts; （4） Most of the models are literary models; （5） Some researches focus on model and fix quantify, sometimes neglect some factors; （6） Most researches lack great findings, some conclusions are even opposite.展开更多

With the growing global interest in Afghanistan rehabilitation, this paper presents an over view of Afghanistan electricity sector which includes the historical development trends, power generation potential, sustainable energy exploitation, electricity policy transition and immature policies experiences, and the legacy of the war. The lack of access to the basic information about Afghanistan power sector was one of the serious concerns of international donors and investors. Still, this information somehow has been kept in official documents wrap up. In this collection, the Afghanistan＇s electricity sector is pictured as a reference for Afghanistan electricity. It can be opening toward primary sources of Afghanistan electricity sector of the lessons learned and asset for researchers interesting in this topic.展开更多

In this case, how and up to what point will they manage to collect all the data related there, to exploit them and to place them at the disposal of the public？ We chose a methodology of investigation according to the research methods developed for the study of the industrial and agricultural systems （Bear, Gibbon, Haggblade, ＆ Ritchie, 1993; Boomgard, Davies, Haggblade, ＆ Mead, 1992; Laurent, 1993; Montigaud, 1992） in order to establish the cartography of the media, the actors, the sets of themes to the menu. This enabled us to raise a whole proliferation of the media. The lnternet has also been diffused since 1997.展开更多
