Remanence Characteristic of Nanostructure of Hard/Soft Magnetic Multilayered Systems 被引量:2

The relation between microscopic properties (e.g., layer thickness, easy axis orientation) and the macroscopic magnetic properties such as remanent magnetization of the ferromagnetic multilayer system is investigated ... The relation between microscopic properties (e.g., layer thickness, easy axis orientation) and the macroscopic magnetic properties such as remanent magnetization of the ferromagnetic multilayer system is investigated based on a simple micromagnet approach. We concentrate on a multilayer design with periodic boundary condition, where alternating soft/hard layers build a nanostructured multilayer. For any easy axis direction in the soft and hard layers a simple explicit expression of remanence of the system has been derived analytically. We find that the remanence clearly depends on the thickness of the soft magnetic layer and is nearly independent of the thickness of hard magnetic layer. On the other hand, the remanence increases upon reducing the angle enclosed by the saturation magnetization and the easy axis directions of soft magnetic layer. However, it is unsensitive to the easy axis direction of hard magnetic layer, but there exists a maximum remanence for a certain easy axis direction of hard magnetic layer. 展开更多

Taking into account the quantum size effects and considering three types of scattering from bulk impurities,rough surface and rough interfaces, we use quantum-statistical Green's function approach and Kubo theory to calculate the electronic conductivity and the giant magnetoresistance in magnetic multilayered cylindrical systems. It is found that in the limit of weakly scattering from impurities surface and interfaces, the total conductivity is given by a sum of conductivities of all the subbands and two spin-channels. For each subband and each spin-channel the scattering rate due to the impurities, surface and interfaces is added up. 展开更多

Critical Behavior of the Gaussian Model with Periodic Interactions on Diamond—Type Hierarchical Lattices in External Magnetic Fields

The Gaussian spin model with periodic interactions on the diamond-type hierarchical lattices is constructed by generalizing that with uniform interactions on translationally invariant lattices according to a class of substitution sequences. The Gaussian distribution constants and imposed external magnetic fields are also periodic depending on the periodic characteristic of the interaction bonds. The critical behaviors of this generalized Gaussian model in external magnetic fields are studied by the exact renormalization-group approach and spin rescaling method. The critical points and all the critical exponents are obtained. The critical behaviors are found to be determined by the Gaussian distribution constants and the fractal dimensions of the lattices. When all the Gaussian distribution constants are the same, the dependence of the critical exponents on the dimensions of the lattices is the same as that of the Gaussian model with uniform interactions on translationally invariant lattices. 展开更多
