The Human Sustainable Development under Biologically Evolutionary Background

Evolution,adaptation and selection always exist in the evolutionary process of any species,which is the result of interrelation and interaction between living things and their environments,and the incarnation of natural laws in the evolutionary process of any species. Only if accurately understanding their connotation and interrelation among them,taking the evolution of living things as the line with centralizing the human sustainable development,dialectically unifying the active adaptation of the human being to their environments and oriented selection of nature and the society to species,we can acquire a better understanding of evolution of living things and a deeper understanding of the human sustainable development under biologically evolutionary background and uphold the true Darwinism,modern evolutionary point of view and the concept of current sustainable development in theory and in practice.

ANALYSIS OF CAPITAL FLOW WITH GIS——Two Approaches for Regional Investment in China

GIS technology has been mostly concerned with handling physical data andmodeling physical environment. However, the retirements of GIS for handling socio-economicinformation in many cases are different from those concerning phenomena in the physical environment.Analysis of capital flow among regions requires the transitions both from economic values tophysical landscape and from physical surface to economic explanation. Rapid growth of Chineseeconomy comes mainly from investment. There are two main ways for obtaining high growth ofinvestment. One is government expenditure which usually invests in regional facility and amenityblock, which is regarded as stimulus for attracting investment. The other is the creation ofinvesting center and corresponding capital source areas, both of which need the central city withthe highest growth rate of investment among regions. This paper presents the cluster areas of bothgovernment revenue and total investment, the potential situation of capital flow between centralcity Shanghai and its neighbor provinces by using Classification' and Interpolation' functions ofArcView GIS.

The First Push of the Universe and Origin of Life

Everything in the universe occurs spontaneously. The first push of the universe signifies the capabilities of the universe in automatic movement, automatic reaction and change, automatic generation and development, automatic cognition and thinking, automatic organization, autonomous behavior and automatic control. Diverse substances, objects, thinking and life entities in the universe are all at automatic movement and change. There are 4 automatic reactions within the physical system： chemical reaction, nuclear fusion reactions, quark confinement reaction and weak interaction. Correspondingly, there are 4 similar reactions in organisms. The life entities include the life universe, organisms, human being, societies and artifacts. The automatic dynamic system exists within the life entities which has automatic cognition and thinking abilities. 4-season movement of life happens automatically. The automatic control of life movement includes 4-season control and thinking control whilst the later is an active type. The life universe forms under the automatic organization of the universe thinking. The social life entities are an active control system of thinking. The society has 5 automatic dynamic systems. The society is a life entity that automatically generates under the control and organization of thinking. The artifacts and the future artificial life are formed under the automatic organization and fabrication of human beings under the control of thinking. The earth is a life entity capable of making various biological molecules and 4-season mechanisms of organisms. The organism is created gradually during 4-season movement of earth and solar system.

The Human Capital Return and Social Integration of Migrants in China

From the perspective of migrants ＇self-selection and skill transferability theories, this paper compares human capital return rates of different migrant groups in urban China and discuss the possibility of economic status identified by migrants as local labors. Results suggest that positive self-selection works for all types of migrant labors. Migrant workers with non-agricultural household registration or feinong hukou have no trouble to be integrated into the labor market of destination. They even have higher income and human capital return rates than local urban workers. Newly-arrived migrant peasants earn less than local labors. However, after a certain period, the skilled migrant workers catch up with local labors and are economically integrated into the local labor market while the low-skilled migrant group still earns less. Therefore the integration of migrant labors in urban labor market is yet a kind of segregated integration.

Critical Theory Between Tradition and Innovation： Axel Honneth and the New Paradigm of Recognition

In the actual political philosophical debate terms as dialectic, emancipation, social conflicts seem＇to have lost every actuality and the attempts to revitalize them often assume a nostalgic tone. in that tradition, only the term ＂criticism＂ is not looked with suspicious, hut rather it is associated in an automatic way to every analysis of the society, that has some normative claims and doesn＇t limit itself to a mere empirical description of the social reality. One of the few exceptions in this scenario is the attempt of Axel Honneth to connect the category of recognition to the original idea of the critical theory, without depriving it of his theoretical pregnancy, but at the same time eliminating his premises of philosophy of history. This study will start from the Honneth＇s reading of the first critical theory to analyze, secondly, the limits individualized by Honneth from the Habermas＇ sociological perspective, particularly those referred to his two levels model of society. The study will finally analyze the actuality of the category of recognition in relation to three problematic spheres： the cultural pluralism, the normativism, the connection between political philosophy and social theory.

Corporate Social Responsibility——From the Perspective of Polish Enterprises

Corporate social responsibility （CSR） is becoming more and more frequently emphasized part of management in the structure of Polish enterprises. These results from the fact that growing awareness of consumers, destructive impact of industry on the natural environment, economic scandals, unethical behavior among entrepreneurs, bring about redefining the principles of a business activity on the market by entrepreneurs. As a result of the above, such values as honesty, trust, or responsibility take on greater importance. Additionally, more and more often, Polish entrepreneurs pay attention to the influence of the company on the environment, the way the stakeholders are treated, while striving to maximize profit. The present paper looks into the subject of social responsibility from the point of view of Polish enterprises. To verify this objective, there was the analysis of the due literature performed, and also carried out the survey among 174 entrepreneurs running their business activity in the area of Southern Poland. The research tool used in the research was the questionnaire （PAPI and CAWI）. In the conducted research, there were factors analyzed referring to knowledge of social responsibility among the people holding both managerial and lower-level positions, in particular opinion, is it important for enterprises to be driven by ethical standards？ How to implement CSR in their structures？ How to understood concept of CSR？ What are the reasons for the implementation of CSR in the strategy of the company？ The considerations （both the theoretical and practical ones） confirmed that the Polish enterprises feel the increased need to implement the activities in the field of social responsibility, which, in the present conditions, constitutes an important part of running a business activity.

Knockouts of high-ranking males have limited impact on baboon social networks

Social network structures can crucially impact complex social processes such as collective behaviour or the transmission of information and diseases. However, currently it is poorly understood how social networks change over time. Previous studies on primates suggest that ＇knockouts＇ （due to death or dispersal） of high-ranking individuals might be important drivers for structural changes in animal social networks. Here we test this hypothesis using long-term data on a natural population of ba- boons, examining the effects of 29 natural knockouts of alpha or beta males on adult female social networks. We investigated whether and how knockouts affected （i） changes in grooming and association rates among adult females, and （2） changes in mean degree and global clustering coefficient in these networks. The only significant effect that we found was a decrease in mean degree in grooming networks in the first month after knockouts, but this decrease was rather small, and grooming networks re- bounded to baseline levels by the second month after knockouts. Taken together our results indicate that the removal of high-ranking males has only limited or no lasting effects on social networks of adult female baboons. This finding calls into question the hypothesis that the removal of high-ranking individuals has a destabilizing effect on social network structures in social animals [Current Zoology 61 （1）： 107-113, 2015].

A derived grid-based model for simulation of pedestrian flow

We present a derived grid-based model for the simulation of pedestrian flow. Interactions among pedestrians are considered as the result of forces within a certain neighbourhood. Unlike the social force model,the forces here,as in Newtonian physics,are proportional to the inverse of the square of the distance. Despite the notion of neighbourhood and the underlying grid,this model differs from the existing cellular automaton(CA) models in that the pedestrians are treated as individuals. Bresenham's algorithm for line rastering is applied in the step calculation.

The Rise and Impact of Financial Capitalism:A Sociological Analysis of New Forms of Capitalism

Compared with Karl Polanyi’s first Great Transformation,the emergence of the even more influential financial capitalism can be called the second Great Transformation.The global expansion of financial capitalism has extended its power beyond the remit of nation-states as governments,firms,families and individuals are increasingly guided and reshaped by financial markets,producing a trend toward the financialization of social life.An important social consequence is the ever more marked separation of financial markets from society,a separation that has gradually eroded the power of the state,trade unions and civil society and aggravated the employment crises,the polarization of rich and poor and the structural inequality of developed capitalist countries.In the face of society’s erosion by financial capital,the West has taken measures of social self-protection,but these have so far had little effect.To establish a new financial and market governance structure at the global level that will effectively cope with the negative impact of financial capitalism is a long and arduous task.
