言说内外:1925年“五卅善后案”中的舆论风波

1925年爆发的“五卅运动”,引发了一系列爱国救亡运动,掀起了一股民族主义浪潮。围绕真凶惩治、案件处理等问题,社会各界争相奔走发声,梁启超、胡适等人也先后在报刊上对此次事件发表意见,后者主张负责调查、理性应对之言,却招致了众多的指摘,被诟病为“亡国之举”。另外,南方政府揭橥了国民革命的大旗,以民众运动为底色,并付诸行动,将这场舆论纷争推向高潮。从“五四”到“五卅”短短数年间,在中国共产党的因势利导下,近代中国大致完成“主义与行动”双重转型,进而形成了国民革命的基础性铺垫。理清这场争论背后的不同声音,进而联系“北伐”前夕社会氛围,得以窥探彼时思想论争与社会趋势。

Poetic Religiosity in Brazilian Urban Peripheries

Starting from the observation of a greater religious pluralism of the Brazilian society, we ask ourselves, in the f＇trst instance, if it is a movement does not present itself as a paradigmatic change. That is, if as beliefs underlying social relations in a binary world of identity exclusions would not be in a process of weakening, allowing us to perceive new ways of latent arrangements. In a second instance, after recognizing that plurality requires recognition of the freedoms of belief and expression, we question the limits of such freedom point to a cosmopolitan ethics. For that matter, we take as reference in the non-religions in the Brazilian urban peripheries.

Is Recast the Most Effective Type of Corrective Feedback？ --Under Cognitive and Sociolinguistic Approach

Currently, there are a variety of researches on corrective feedback, especially on recasts. Most of researches are experiment-based and depend on the certain context. This paper addresses the question of ＂Is recast the most effective form of corrective feedback？＂ by two of Second Language Acquisition （SLA） approaches： cognitive approach and sociolinguistic approach. Empirical research will be used as complement. Theoretically speaking, SLA hypotheses in cognitive approach exist disagreements. Interaction hypothesis favors recast while both input hypothesis and output hypothesis doubt the effectiveness of it. Sociolinguistic approach underscores the significance of appropriate and timely corrective feedback and does not give more credit to certain strategy. Both approaches provide the pedagogical implications and elements to take into account for adopting recasts.

Application of Game Theory in Social Science

Game theory is a tool for making decision for all scientists which it can predict the future. So many times, not only in professional life but in private life game theory can help people to make best decision. What make this article different with other game theory article is that it has written for arts science which they are not so much fluent in maths. The object of this article is to demonstrate the possibilities of game theory as an instrument for study of social science. The approach used to describe elementary games theoretic models as an integral part of social science with a collection of example to understand subject better. This paper addresses to theoreticians and practitioners of social science not particularly versed in game theory, rather than to those who are fluent in its mathematical language and intricacies.

Positive Discourse Analysis of Hillary Clinton＇ s Concession Address

As a new field in the Discourse Analysis, Positive Discourse Analysis （PDA） is increasingly arousing more attention of linguistic scholars at home and abroad. However, in the field of the concession addresses, the studies on this kind of political text are limited. The winners of presidential election always draw much attention from the world and their speeches, for example, presidential inaugural address has been a hot study topic of linguistics. Nevertheless, the losers of presidential election are always neglected by the world and the study on concession address is scarce and rare. Therefore, the meaning of study on the concession speech helps fill the gap of the discourse analysis. This thesis applies the PDA under the framework of appraisal theory to analyze five concession speeches with a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study aims to complement CDA （Critical Discourse Analysis） to emphasize positive social construction of political discourse.

The SPSS-Based Analysis of an English Mid-term Test ——Take Grade Eight Students for Example

Based on some language testing theories, an analysis of an English Mid-term Examination of grade eight students of Jingzhi Middle School is made in this paper. By means of SPSS （Statistical Package for the Social Sciences） statistical software, the paper makes a whole analysis of the test paper, which covers descriptive statistics, reliability, and validity. The study aims to find some problems of the test paper, teachers＇ teaching, and students＇ learning. Thus, based on the results of analysis, this paper aims to improve the quality of test papers and give some advice to language teaching

A Case Study of Classic Prose as a Psychological Tool in Reflection Writing

This paper presents a case study of second language （L2） writing from a sociocultural perspective and highlights the mediational role of a piece of classic prose, ＂Youth,＂ as a psychological tool in the reflection writing process. Sixty English majors from a Chinese university participated in the study. Data were collected through reflection writing and interviews and were treated with the grounded theory method. The findings showed that in the appropriation of the classic prose, students not only improved their language skills but also deepened their understanding of the theme, which contributed to the buildup of their philosophy of life in a meaningful way.

A Lecture Delivered at Beijing Foreign Studies University, May 12, 2019

This article traces the evolution of the field of second language acquisition/development(SLA/SLD). It chronicles the evolution in terms of different disciplines and theories that have been influential, beginning with the origin of SLA/SLD in linguistic thinking and expanding its scope of inquiry to psycholinguistics. It has developed further with the disciplines of anthropology and sociology holding sway. More recently, newer cognitive theories have been influential. The article discusses the recent call for a transdisciplinary approach. More specifically, the author promotes the adoption of complex dynamic systems theory, in keeping with non-reductionist systems thinking. Not only is this sociocognitive theory an interdisciplinary theory, but it also highlights the dynamic, variable, nonlinear nature of second language development. This it does within an ecological conception of development, which insists on the relevance of context. It also maintains that SLA/SLD is not a matter of input becoming output, but rather that language patterns emerge from the interaction of its users, given the affordances that they perceive. The article concludes with a discussion of several instructional issues.
