A commonly shared Europ...When we look through the world history, it can be seen clearly that language has a great role on culture, arts, and social movements, and the translation is an important player in this context. A commonly shared European culture together with its values has emerged as a product of such sociolinguistic dynamics. Following these encounters, whether at word borrowing level or morpho-syntactical level, European languages have had positive and/or negative effects on each other and have evolved ever since in this way as they have permeated themselves into culture. From the point of view on translation＇s intermediary role in enabling interaction between cultures throughout the history, the aim of the present study is to problematize the answers to the following questions： What are cultural ramifications that stem from linguistic encounter？ What are the contributions of translated language to acculturation and enculturation processes？ Can the new information through translation produce a culture translation phenomenon？ How the hybrid understanding functions？ Translation itself is a language encounter that makes impact on targeted languages as well as on its source. In this study, the dynamics that form this encounter space as a meta textual phenomenon has been problematized.展开更多

The subject of the legal history must pay attention to the problems encountered in the process of the development of the history and the accumulated experience. The historical development since the last century displays the importance and necessity of the theory of the social science in the study of the history. The researcher of the legal history should focus on the comprehensive use of the theories and methods of the subject of the social sciences, and through the innovative use of the historical data and the use of the multidisciplinary interpretation methods, re-interpret the historical events and figures. We construct a call network digraph G with attribution using mobile phone call records within 21 days collected by three operators and analyze the social call behavior features through analyzing the degree distributio...We construct a call network digraph G with attribution using mobile phone call records within 21 days collected by three operators and analyze the social call behavior features through analyzing the degree distribution of nodes of the network digraph under the help of Graphx based on the Spark Platform.We get the following social conclusions from the communication relationship between phone users:on average,users make about5~7 mobile telephone calls and connect about2~3 persons one day;on weekends,people make less calls but spend longer time on each call,revealing that working calls account for a large part of calls on weekdays;among these telephone calls on weekdays,most are less than one minute,and on average,mobile users that call more people also tend to be called by more individuals.展开更多
Research on the social value of the bus industry in Australia revealed an inconsistency in findings between qualitative and quantitative results in relation to the nature of a bus operator＇s interaction with the comm...Research on the social value of the bus industry in Australia revealed an inconsistency in findings between qualitative and quantitative results in relation to the nature of a bus operator＇s interaction with the community where they provide a transport service. As part of a larger research project that surveyed bus operators about their corporate social responsibility, bivariate analysis found that the responses to the embedded Sense of Community Index （SOCI） did not provide a predictor of the extent of a bus operator＇s community interaction or determinant of Corporate Responsibility （CR）. However, qualitative comments in the survey suggested that bus operators did display strong positive feelings about their community. Published after the data collection stage was completed, the Sense of Community Responsibility Index （SOCRI） appeared to be a better fit than SOCI to explain the nature of bus operator＇s interaction with their community. Rather than drawing on community resources, the interaction was shown to be one of leaderships on the part of the operator. Further examination of this relationship using the SOCR would test this finding.展开更多
