A Gaussian-like distribution was constructed as the sub-model of overlapped peaks by analyzing the characteristics of linear sweep polarographic curve. Then, the abscissas of each peak and trough were pinpointed through multi-resolution wavelet decomposition, the curve and its derivative curves were fitted by using nonlinear weighted least squares (NWLS). Finally, overlapped peaks were resolved into independent sub-peaks based on fitted reconstruction parameters. The experimental results show that the relative error of half-wave potential pinpointed by multi-resolution wavelet decomposition is less than 1% and the accuracy of Ip fitted by NWLS is higher than 96%. The proposed resolution method is effective for overlapped linear sweep polarographic peaks of Zn(Ⅱ) and Co(Ⅱ).展开更多

But we can use stepped frequency waveform in a narrow band coherent radar to obtain the HRR profile of a target. For moving targets which are of great importance in practical radar usage, autofocusing,i.e. phase correction, is a necessary and critical step of the synthetic HRR processing. The purpose of autofocusing is to remove the radial motion effect of the target from radar echoes, and only reserve the stepped frequency effect which is the basis of synthetic HRR capability. We investigate two autofocusing approaches for synthetic HRR radars using stepped frequency waveform in this paper. The first is motion fitting method. This method depends on a certain parametric model, and is computationally expensive. Then we propose the iterative dominant scatterer method. It is robust, non parametric and simple in computation in comparison with the motion fitting method. Experimental results based on data acquired by using a metallised scale model B 52 in a microwave anechoic chamber reveal the validity and effectiveness of the method.展开更多

AutoRegressive (AR) method is used to extract features from HRR radar echoes based on scattering center model of target. The optimal linear transformation based on Euclidian distribution distance criterion is performed on AR model parameter vectors to reduce dimension of feature vectors further and improve the class discrimination capability of feature vectors. The optimization algorithm is designed utilizing the quadratic property of criterion function and Gaussian kernel based Parzen window density function estimator. The concept of Stochastic Information Gradient (SIG) is incorporated into the gradient of cost function to decrease the computational complexity of the algorithm. The principle of the multiple radars signal fusion improving the range resolution is analyzed. With the analysis of return signals received by two radars,it is derived that the phase difference between the echoes varies almost linearly with respect to the frequency if the distance between two radars is neg-ligible compared with the radar observation distance. To compensate the phase difference,an en-tropy-minimization principle based compensation algorithm is proposed. During the fusion process, the B-splines interpolation method is applied to resample the signals for Fourier transform imaging. The theoretical analysis and simulations results show the proposed method can effectively increase signal bandwidth and provide a high resolution range profile.展开更多

The sample was dissolved in HNO3 and HCI by microwave digestion. Most of the spectral interferences could be avoided by measuring in the high resolution mode. The matrix effects because of the presence of excess HC1 and nickel were evaluated. Correction for matrix effects was made using Sc, Rh and T1 as internal standards. The optimum conditions for the determination were tested and discussed. The detection limits range from 0.012 to 1.76 ~tg/g depending on the type of elements. The applicability of the proposed method is also validated by the analysis of high purity nickel reference material (NIST SRM 671). The relative standard deviation (RSD) is less than 3.3%. Results for determination of trace elements in high purity nickel were presented.展开更多

Depending on species of the collected signals, different methods can be performed: time-resolved ion yield spectroscopy (TR-IYS) and time-resolved photoelectron imaging (TR-PEI). In this review, the essential concepts linking photoionization measurement with electronic structure are presented, together with several important breakthroughs in experimentally distinguishing the oscillating wavepacket motion between different geometries. We illustrate how femtosecond TR-IYS and TR-PEI are employed to visualize the evolution of a coherent vibrational wavepacket on the excited state surface.展开更多

The method was applied to a high-resolution digital elevation model (DEM) to produce a grid map of multi-year mean δD values with lkm spatial resolution for Antarctica. The mean absolute deviation between observed and estimated data in the map is about 5.4‰, and the standard deviation is 9‰. The resulting δD pattern resembles well known characteristics such as the depletion of the heavy isotopes with increasing latitude and distance from coast line, but also reveals the complex topographic effects.展开更多

In the traditional viewpoint,HRRPs are assumed to be highly similar if the aspect variation is not enough to cause range migration. However, some experiments in anechoic chambers don’t agree with the assumption. Particularly, some abnormal HRRPs often occur in the measured data. Based on the scattering center model, this paper focuses on the reason of abnormal HRRP,which is named as the speckle. The theoretical model of speckle is established and the "spurious dual peaks" feature of the speckled HRRP is analyzed. Then the occurrence condition of speckle is concluded, and so is the relationship between the speckle probability in HRRP and radar carrier frequency. At last, the experiment in an anechoic chamber is used to verify all the analyses about the speckle.展开更多

We found that the stacking geometry of the bilayer graphene usually deviates from the traditional Bernal stacking (or so-called AB stacking), resulting in the formation of a variety of Moir6 patterns. The relative rotations inside the bilayer were then qualitatively deduced from the relationship between Moir6 patterns and carbon lattices. Moreover, we found that typical defects such as wrinkles and ripples tend to evolve around multi-step boundaries of Ni, thus reflecting strong perturbations from substrate corrugations. These investigations of the morphology and the mechanism of formation of wrinkles and ripples are fundamental topics in graphene research. This work is expected to contribute to the exploration of electronic and transport properties of wrinkles and ripples.展开更多

This scheme is based on high-order reconstruction for spatial discretization and an implicit-explicit Runge-Kutta method for time integration. The resulting method retains the simplicity of the relaxation schemes. There is no need to involve Riemann solvers and characteristic decomposition. Even the computation of the eigenvalues is not required. This makes the scheme particularly well suited for the MCLWR model in which the analytical expressions of the eigenvalues are difficult to obtain for more than four classes of road users. The numerical results illustrate the effectiveness of the presented method.展开更多
