近日,中国太保集团旗下中国太保寿险与科讯嘉联在上海签署战略合作协议并举行揭牌仪式,宣布共同成立“联合实验室”。据了解,双方自2017年起即已开展了一系列业务合作,共同研发了智能语音回访系统,应用于新契约回访、离司业务员稽核回访和满期给付回访等多类场景。

Will Institutional Distance Affect Multinational Firms' CSR Performance in a Host Country?

Taking multinational firms operating in China as objects of research,this paper has discovered through empirical study that economic institutional distance and cultural institutional distance have negative effects on the corporate social responsibility(CSR) performance of multinational firms in a host country;when the legal system of home country is far better than that of host country,legal institutional distance has a positive effect on the CSR performance of multinational firms in the host country;entry mode has negative adjustment effect on the relationship of legal institutional distance and cultural institutional distance with the CSR performance of multinational firms in a host country;business experience of multinational firms in a host country has a negative adjustment effect on the relationship between legal institutional distance and their CSR performance in the host country.

The St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire in Lymphangioleiomyomatosis

Objective To examine the correlation between the health-related quality of life measured by the St.George's Respiratory Questionnaire(SGRQ) and the commonly used physiological measures in lymphangioleiomyomatosis(LAM).Methods This study retrospectively analyzed the SGRQ scores and other measures(the Borg scale of breathlessness at rest,6-minute walking distance,blood oxygen levels,and pulmonary function) of patients diagnosed and confirmed with LAM.Altogether 38 patients between June 2007 and November 2009 were included.Results The mean values of the SGRQ three components(symptoms,activity,and impacts) and total scores in the LAM patients were 46.95±28.90,58.47±25.41,47.89±29.66,and 51.11±26.35,respectively.The SGRQ total or component scores were correlated well with the Borg scale of breathlessness,6-minute walking distance,partial pressure of oxygen in arterial blood,spirometry and diffusion capacity of lung.There were poor correlations between SGRQ score and residual volume or total lung capacity.In our preliminary observation,sirolimus improved the SGRQ total and three component scores and the Borg scale of breathlessness significantly after 101-200 days of treatment(n=6).Conclusions The SGRQ score in LAM is correlated well with physiological measures(Borg scale of breathlessness,6-minute walking distance,blood oxygen levels,and pulmonary function tests).The SGRQ could therefore be recommended in baseline and follow-up evaluation of patients with LAM.Treatment with sirolimus,an inhibitor of mammalian target of rapamycin,may improve the quality of life and patient's perception of breathlessness in LAM.

Characteristics of Trays Using Inertial Separation Technology

Though they look very different,UOP SimulFlowTM,Koch-Glitsch Ultra-FracTM,Jaeger CoFloTM and Shell ConSepTM trays fall into the same category of trays using inertial separation technology. However,flooding mechanisms and the trends of entrainment and efficiency are different due to their different working principles. This paper provides a detailed analysis of these trays using available information from literature and U.S. Patents. Efforts are also made to interpret the observations reported. In terms of tray efficiency,it is found that SimulFlow,Ultra-Frac and CoFlo trays are typical point efficiency devices due to a completely mixed liquid pool on the tray deck,while ConSep trays can take advantage of liquid concentration gradient on the tray deck,which makes this tray at-tractive among all ultra high capacity trays.

Inheritance of 15 microsatellites in the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas:segregation and null allele identification for linkage analysis

Microsatellites were screened in a backcross family of the Pacific oyster, Crassostrea gigas. Fifteen microsatellite loci were distinguishable and polymorphic with 6 types of allele-combinations. Null alleles were detected in 46.7% of loci, accounting for 11.7% of the total alleles. Four loci did not segregate in Mendelian Ratios. Three linkage groups were identified among 7 of the 15 segregating loci. Fluorescence-based automated capillary electrophoresis (ABI 310 Genetic Analyzer) that used to detect the microsatellite loci, has been proved a fast, precise, and reliable method in microsatellite genotyping.

Fundamental Social Rights and Existenzminimum

While fundamental individual rights are unquestionably taken as subjective rights, the same does not happen with fundamental social rights. If they are subjective rights, they are justiciable. The main argument in favor of this understanding is based on liberty. The main argument against is the so called formal argument. In relation to the pro argument, liberty can be either juridical or factual. Juridical liberty has no value without factual liberty, because the right to liberty is only put into practice if one has the factual preconditions for its exercise. The argument against is that their justiciability displaces the competence of the elaboration of public politics from Legislative and Executive to Judiciary Power, what violates the principles of separation of powers and democracy. Nevertheless they are subjective rights indeed, but special ones： they are primafacie subjective rights. There is only one subjective right that is a priori considered definitive： the right to Existenzminimum） Its content is not settled, but it is quite unequivocal that the rights to simple housing, fundamental education and minimum level of medical assistance are part of it. Existenzminimum is then related to the minimum necessary for factual liberty. Against the justiciability of fundamental social rights, there are also arguments related to juridification of politics, administrative discretion and the possible reserve clause. The counter-arguments refer to original and exceptional competence, necessary objective proof of state＇s economical incapability, prohibition of State＇s will, principles of legality and of non-obviation o f Judiciary jurisdiction, Existenzminimun guarantee.

The synthesis and antibacterial activity evaluation of oxazolidinone-deferasirox conjugates

We reported herein the synthesis and antibacterial activity evaluation of two oxazolidinone-deferasirox conjugates with different linkers that were designed based on the“Trojan horse”strategy.The conjugates could combine with Fe^(3+)ions as the deferasirox.However,both conjugates were inactive against tested bacteria,including S.aureus,E.coli,A.baumannii,and P.aeruginosa.The results suggested that the synthesized iron chelator deferasirox was not suitable as a siderophore of the bacteria to transport the antibiotic,or the coupling linker of the synthesized conjugates could not be hydrolyzed to release the oxazolidinone in the cytoplasm.Therefore,the design and synthesis of oxazolidinone-deferasirox conjugates need further exploration.

Multiple magnetic topologies in flux transfer events: THEMIS measurements

Flux transfer events （FTEs） are local transient magnetic reconnections at the magnetopause （MP） that provide channels for transport of solar wind energy and plasma into the magnetosphere （MSP）. All current theoretical models suggest that FTEs are open-flux ropes; however, global simulations show that they contain both open and closed magnetic fields. To clarify this to- pology, we analyzed 441 events observed by THEMIS and investigated their magnetic topologies. Only one type of open field line was detected in most magnetosheath （MSH） FTEs, independent of the polarity of the Bn bipolar signatures. Newly formed MSH field lines were also observed. In the all MP boundary layers FTEs and most MSP FTEs, multiple types of topologies were observed, irrelevant to the Bn bipolar polarity. Closed field lines were found in all MP boundary layers and MSP FTEs. Meanwhile very few boundary FTEs contained the newly formed MSH flux. In some situations, only closed field lines were seen in MSP FTEs, which are referred to as the fossil FTEs. These results, which largely differ from the traditional view, demonstrate the existence of complex magnetic topologies in FTEs. Based on these results, we propose a new 3D FTE picture to modify the current FTE models.
