The diameter of particles was monitored by dynamic light scattering to control the addition of TEOS. The increase in the diameter of the silica particles with time and the addition of TEOS was investigated. The diameter of silica seeds increased from 193 nm to 446 nm in 4 h. The final diameter of silica particles was tailored within the range of ±5 nm to the target diameter. Silica particles with diameter of 446 nm were synthesized and assembled into photonic crystals with a pseudo band gap centered at just 1000 nm. The feasibility and practicability of this modified seeded growth process was verified.展开更多

A total of 445 fish was examined; the overall prevalence of the plasmodium infection in the fish was 64.94% and mean abundance of plasmodia was 11.65 ± 27.85 (mean ± SD). Significant seasonal changes in prevalence and mean abundance, with higher levels of the plasmodia infection from late spring to autumn, were observed.展开更多

The results showed that 80 kinds of protein spots in endosperms of Gingkgo biloba were clear observed in the 2-DE spectrum. Protein molecular weights were in the range of 26-52kD, and their isoelectric points were in the range of 5.8-7.8. In the course of seed germination, 13 kinds of proteins were degraded, and 13 kinds of proteins were synthesized; 7 kinds of proteins with different molecular weights and isoelectric points of 35kD/pIr.8, 31kD/pIr.8, 29kD/pIr.8, 33kD/pI6.6, 33kD/pI 6.4, 34kD/pI7.7 and 31kD/pI7.7 were identified primarily as vegetative storage proteins (VSPs).展开更多
