A marine red tide algae denominated as Heterocapsa circularisquama was cultured under the control factors. And the ecological function of nutrient salts such as nitrogen (mg/L), phosphorus (rag/L) as well as silicon (rag/L) in different consistency on the population growth of H. circularisquama was investigated. The results showed that overtop or too low consistency of nutrient salts both delayed the population multiplication of the red tide algae, and different nutrient factors as nitrogen, phosphorus and silicon all had significant effects on the population amplification of H.circularisquama (p〈0.01). The optimal concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and silicon in the culture medium for the algae propagation and growth were 10 mg/L, 1-5 mg/L and 0 mg/L respectively. 展开更多

Detection of Relation between V and Zn in Two Species of Mollusks and the Surrounding Water in the Marshes of Southern Iraq

Elements (vanadium and zinc) were determined in the two most abundant species of shell mollusks (Unio tigridis and Fiviparous bengalensis) and the water where they live in five stations in the Iraqi marshes. The study of concentrations elements was a target organ for aquatic environmental. Comparison between the mean concentrations of the elements in the water concentration levels of all studied elements was the highest with the mollusks. The results show that the station 5 is where the highest concentrations are found in water and in the two species. There is a significant correlation (P = 0.224) for concentrations of vanadium and P = 0.735 for zinc in two species of mollusks relative to their concentrations in surface water. All significant differences were accepted at a level of P 〈 0.05. The potential uptake of elements including V and Zn, as Viviparous bengalensi 〉 Unio tigridis, The mechanism for elements uptake determined by water for organisms confined to the contaminated areas seemed to be largely independent of species, mollusks demonstrated a significant positive relationship with water. These results have important implications for the utility of marshes biota as subjects for elements monitoring program. 展开更多

Solutions of gibberellic acid prepared at three concentration levels including 5, 10 and 20 mg/L, were applied at two seedless grape varieties, Thompson and Belgrade, by spraying, during the three different periods of the vine growing: before blooming, after blooming and before veraison, in order to study their influence on some cultural technological characteristics. Dimension and shape of the cluster and berry, mechanical characteristics of the berries and chemical content of the must (sugar and total acids) has been also investigated. It was noticed that the concentration of gibberellic acid had influence on the technological characteristics of the berries in all grape growing periods tested. The addition of gibberellic acid at concentration of 20 mg/L increased the weight of the cluster and berry, and increased the transportability of the berries belonging to the two seedless varieties. 展开更多

浮游植物比吸收系数是关联浮游植物生物量与吸收光谱的重要参数。对浮游植物种群比吸收系数的量化分析,可弥补黄渤海浮游植物种群比吸收光谱研究的不足,为监测浮游植物种群浓度提供新思路。结合2016年6月黄渤海航次的浮游植物吸收系数... 浮游植物比吸收系数是关联浮游植物生物量与吸收光谱的重要参数。对浮游植物种群比吸收系数的量化分析,可弥补黄渤海浮游植物种群比吸收光谱研究的不足,为监测浮游植物种群浓度提供新思路。结合2016年6月黄渤海航次的浮游植物吸收系数与色素浓度数据,利用CHEMTAX软件分析得到黄渤海8个优势藻种的浓度。运用留一法,对吸收系数与藻种浓度数据进行多元线性回归分析,提取各藻类比吸收光谱,重建总吸收光谱。结果显示,模型反演效果较好,重构的吸收光谱与实测光谱在蓝、红光波段具有较高的一致性。此外,分析优势藻种对浮游植物吸收系数的贡献时,发现在所有优势藻种中,定鞭藻对浮游植物的吸收贡献最大,蓝藻次之。 展开更多

The purpose of this study was to clarify effects of selected oligosaccharides on concentrations of cecal short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), total large bowel wet weight and wall weight, and cecal microbiota levels in mice. Mice were respectively given gavage of selected fructooligosaccharides (FOS), galactooligosaccharides (GOS), mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), and ehitooligosaccharides (COS) [1000 mg/(kg body weightd)]. Control group was given physiological saline solution. After 14 d treatment, SCFAs and lactate in mice cecum were significantly increased (P〈0.05) by intake of oligosaccharides, especially FOS and GOS. Thus, providing these oligosaccharides as ingredients in nutritional formulas may benefit the gastrointestinal tract. 展开更多
