To meet the requirements of modeling the new modality of peer-to-peer(P2P)network applications which have been rapidly developing in the Internet recently, a formal description method for modeling multiparty concurrent network interactions is studied. The main characteristics and the classifications of P2P systems are discussed. Considering the requirements of P2P application modeling and referring to the component-based modeling thought, a description method based on communicating sequential processes (CSP)is proposed for the P2P network models. By using a CSP process group, this method can describe the dynamic interactive relationship which focuses on multiparty concurrent interaction of P2P systems more advantageously and accurately. The application of nondeterministic semantemes of CSP in describing the interactive relationship of P2P networks is discussed. The advantages and description abilities of the proposed method are demonstrated through the modeling of a new P2P media-on-demand system. 展开更多

Ship Hull Form Optimization by Evolutionary Algorithm in Order to Diminish the Drag 被引量:2

This study presents a numerical method for optimizing hull form in calm water with respect to total drag which contains a viscous drag and a wave drag. The ITTC 1957 model-ship correlation line was used to predict frictional drag and the corrected linearized thin-ship theory was employed to estimate the wave drag The evolution strategy (ES) which is a member of the evolutionary algorithms (EAs) family obtains an optimum hull form by considering some design constraints. Standard Wigley hull is considered as an initial hull in optimization procedures for two test cases and new hull forms were achieved at Froude numbers 0.24, 0.316 and 0.408. In one case the ES technique was ran for the initial hull form, where the main dimensions were fixed and the only variables were the hull offsets. In the other case in addition to hull offsets, the raain dimensions were considered as variables that are optimized simultaneously. The numerical results of optimization procedure demonstrate that the optimized hull forms yield a reduction in total drag. 展开更多

People's attitudes towards public events or products may change overtime,rather than staying on the same state.Understanding how sentiments change overtime is an interesting and important problem with many applications.Given a certain public event or product,a user's sentiments expressed in microblog stream can be regarded as a vector.In this paper,we define a novel problem of sentiment evolution analysis,and develop a simple yet effective method to detect sentiment evolution in user-level for public events.We firstly propose a multidimensional sentiment model with hierarchical structure to model user's complicate sentiments.Based on this model,we use FP-growth tree algorithm to mine frequent sentiment patterns and perform sentiment evolution analysis by Kullback-Leibler divergence.Moreover,we develop an improve Affinity Propagation algorithm to detect why people change their sentiments.Experimental evaluations on real data sets show that sentiment evolution could be implemented effectively using our method proposed in this article. 展开更多

The research study proposes to examine a three-dimensional visualization program, emphasizing on improving genetic algorithms through the optimization of a layout design-based standard and discrete shipbuilding workshop. By utilizing a steel processing workshop as an example, the principle of minimum logistic costs will be implemented to obtain an ideological equipment layout, and a mathematical model. The objectiveness is to minimize the total necessary distance traveled between machines. An improved control operator is implemented to improve the iterative efficiency of the genetic algorithm, and yield relevant parameters. The Computer Aided Tri-Dimensional Interface Application (CATIA) software is applied to establish the manufacturing resource base and parametric model of the steel processing workshop. Based on the results of optimized planar logistics, a visual parametric model of the steel processing workshop is constructed, and qualitative and quantitative adjustments then are applied to the model. The method for evaluating the results of the layout is subsequently established through the utilization of AHP. In order to provide a mode of reference to the optimization and layout of the digitalized production workshop, the optimized discrete production workshop will possess a certain level of practical significance. 展开更多

Genome Characteristics of the Cyclophragma Undans Nucleopolyhedrovirus: A Distinct Species in Group Ⅰ of Alphabaculovirus

The Cyclophragma undans nucleopolyhedrovirus (CyunNPV), a potential pest control agent, was isolated from Cyclophragma undans (Lepidoptera: Lasiocampidae), an important forest pest. In the present study, we performed detailed genome analysis of CyunNPV and compared its genome to those of other Group I alphabaculoviruses. Sequencing of the CyunNPV genome using the Roche 454 sequencing system generated 142,900 bp with a G + C content of 45%. Genome analysis predicted a total of 147 hypothetical open reading frames comprising 38 baculoviral core genes, 24 lepidopteran baculovirus conserved genes, nine Group I Alphabaculovirus conserved genes, 71 common genes, and five genes that are unique to CyunNPV. In addition, the genome contains 13 homologous repeated sequences (hrs). Phylogenetic analysis groups CyunNPV under a distinct branch within clade "a" of Group I in the genus Alphabaculovirus. Unlike other members of Group I, CyunNPV harbors only nine of the 11 genes previously determined to be specific to Group I viruses. Furthermore, the CyunNPV lacks the tyrosine phosphatase gene and the ac30 gene. The CyunNPV F-like protein contains two insertions of continuous polar amino acids, one at the conventional fusion peptide and a second insertion at the pretransmembrane domain. The insertions are likely to affect the fusion function and suggest an evolutionary process that led to inactivation of the F-like protein. The above findings imply that CyunNPV is a distinct species under Group I Alphabaculovirus. 展开更多

The evolvable multiprocessor (EvoMP), as a novel multiprocessor system-on-chip (MPSoC) machine with evolvable task decomposition and scheduling, claims a major feature of low-cost and efficient fault tolerance. Non-centralized control and adaptive distribution of the program among the available processors are two major capabilities of this platform, which remarkably help to achieve an efficient fault tolerance scheme. This letter presents the operational as well as architectural details of this fault tolerance scheme. In this method, when a processor becomes faulty, it will be eliminated of contribution in program execution in remaining run-time. This method also utilizes dynamic rescheduling capability of the system to achieve the maximum possible efficiency after processor reduction. The results confirm the efficiency and remarkable advantages of the proposed approach over common redundancy based techniques in similar systems. 展开更多
