First, the traffic wave method is used to analyze the formation and ...In order to describe the travel time of signalcontrolled roads, a travel time model for urban basic roads based on the cumulative curve is proposed. First, the traffic wave method is used to analyze the formation and dispersion of the vehicle queue. Cumulative curves for road entrances and exits are established. Based on the cumulative curves, the travel time of the one-lane road under stable flow input is derived. And then, the multi-lane road is decomposed into a series of single-lane links based on its topological characteristics. Hence, the travel time function for the basic road is obtained. The travel time is a function of road length, flow and control parameters. Numerical analyses show that the travel time depends on the supply-demand condition, and it has high sensitivity during peak hours.展开更多

We test the parallel rapid relaxation algorithm with synthetic and real data. The execution efficiency of the algorithm for several different situations is also compared. The results indicate that the parallel rapid relaxation algorithm for 3D magnetotelluric inversion is effective. This parallel algorithm implemented on a common PC promotes the practical application of 3D magnetotelluric inversion and can be suitable for the other geophysical 3D modeling and inversion.展开更多

The method can extract optimized gridding parameters based...This paper presents a reasonable gridding-parameters extraction method for setting the optimal interpolation nodes in the gridding of scattered observed data. The method can extract optimized gridding parameters based on the distribution of features in raw data. Modeling analysis proves that distortion caused by gridding can be greatly reduced when using such parameters. We also present some improved technical measures that use human- machine interaction and multi-thread parallel technology to solve inadequacies in traditional gridding software. On the basis of these methods, we have developed software that can be used to grid scattered data using a graphic interface. Finally, a comparison of different gridding parameters on field magnetic data from Ji Lin Province, North China demonstrates the superiority of the proposed method in eliminating the distortions and enhancing gridding efficiency.展开更多

The flow s...The hot deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of 1460 Al-Li alloy were investigated by isothermal compression test conducted at various strain rates(10-3-10 s-1) and temperatures(573-773 K). The flow stress curves were corrected by considering the friction at the platen/specimen interface and the temperature change due to the deformation heating. The effects of strain, strain rate and temperature on the deformation behavior were characterized by the Zener-Hollomon parameter in a hyperbolic-sine equation, and the constitutive equations were established according to the peak flow stress associated with dynamic recovery, dynamic recrystallization and the dissolution of T1 phases. In the entire strain rate and temperature range, the prediction capabilities of the developed constitutive equation are proved to be feasible and effective with a linear correlation coefficient and an average absolute relative error coefficient of 0.9909 and 6.72%, respectively.展开更多

Chaotic behaviors from homoclinic crossings are analyzed with an improved Melnikov method and are compared for the systems with a periodically external excitation, with a linear periodically parametric excitation, or with a nonlinear periodically excitation. The critical curves separating chaotic regions and non-chaotic regions of the above systems are different from each other. Especially, a dead frequency is presented for the system with a nonlinear periodically parametric excitation. The chaos excited at the frequency does not occur no matter how large the excitation amplitude is. A time integration scheme is used to find the numerical solutions of these systems. Based on the random utility maximum theory, the NL model is formulated. The analysis is carried out in the main area of Nanjing. Direct and cross elasticities are calculated to analyze the effects of travel time and travel cost on the selection of travel mode choice. The results reveal that the non-motorized travel modes are more attractive in the areas with higher housing and employment accessibility and car owners are found to be more likely to commute to work by car. The bus and subway choice probabilities are more sensitive to changes in travel times than to changes in travel costs. In conclusion, a comprehensive public transit system and effective integration of land use and transportation policies help to relieve the traffic congestion levels caused by the increasing urban sprawl.展开更多

The chaotic characteristics of flight conflict are analyzed from the qualitative point of view. Secondly, an improved chaotic algorithm for the largest Lyapunov exponent is proposed based on the small-data method and the wavelet de-noising theory. Chaos in flight conflict time series is identified by the improved chaotic algorithm from the quantitative point of view. Finally, a case study by the chaos forecasting al- gorithm is performed and the results are evaluated by the gray error checking : Correlative value of posterior error is 0. 220 9〈0. 35, and micro-error probability is 0. 985 3〉0.95. The determinat...Implementation of simultaneous execution phases in the concurrent engineering (CE) needs careful planning when the downstream phase could be activated as the upstream phase developed to a certain point. The determination of startup time of overlapping jobs in CE has long been a disturbance in manufacturing industry implementing CE programs. A novel model based on both fuzzy logic and neural network is proposed to mathematically formulate the inter-connective information between the two coupled phases in CE projects, and to determine the startup time of downstream phases in real time. The information transferring between the two coupled phases is quantified by using the negative Shannon entropy. Based on this algorithm, a PDM-based framework is proposed to narrow the gap between pro-duct design and manufacture, in which five modules are built to monitor, reshuffle and implement the simultaneous executing processes. Finally, an example is given to illustrate applications of the algorithm in the real world.展开更多

In which, the ARIMA model is used as the mean equation of the GARCH model to model the travel time levels and the GARCH model is used to model the conditional variances of travel time. The proposed method is validated and evaluated using actual traffic flow data collected from the traffic monitoring system of Kunshan city. The evaluation results show that, compared with the conventional ARIMA model, the proposed model cannot significantly improve the forecasting performance of travel time levels but has advantage in travel time volatility forecasting. The proposed model can well capture the travel time heteroskedasticity and forecast the time-varying confidence intervals of travel time which can better reflect the volatility of observed travel times than the fixed confidence interval provided by the ARIMA model.展开更多

The influence rule of processing parameters (strain, strain rate and temperature) on flow stress of pure aluminum was investigated. Nine analysis factors consisting of material parameters and according weights were optimized. Then, the constitutive equations of multilevel series rules, multilevel parallel rules and multilevel series ¶llel rules were established. The correlation coefficients (R) are 0.992, 0.988 and 0.990, respectively, and the average absolute relative errors (AAREs) are 6.77%, 8.70% and 7.63%, respectively, which proves that the constitutive equations of multilevel series rules can predict the flow stress of pure aluminum with good correlation and precision.展开更多

We selected a new expansion variable and thus obtained a rich variety of travelling wave solutions to nonlinear evolution equation, which covered solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Weierstrass elliptic function solutions, and rational solutions. The correlation coefficients (R) are 0.992, 0.988 and 0.990, respectively, and the average absolute relative errors (AAREs) are 6.77%, 8.70% and 7.63%, respectively, which proves that the constitutive equations of multilevel series rules can predict the flow stress of pure aluminum with good correlation and precision.

文摘A unified approach is presented for finding the travelling wave solutions to one kind of nonlinear evolution equation by introducing a concept of 'rank'. The key idea of this method is to make use of the arbitrariness of the manifold in Painlevé analysis. We selected a new expansion variable and thus obtained a rich variety of travelling wave solutions to nonlinear evolution equation, which covered solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Weierstrass elliptic function solutions, and rational solutions. Three illustrative equations are investigated by this means, and abundant travelling wave solutions are obtained in a systematic way. In addition, some new solutions are firstly reported here.

文摘In this paper, we derive the bilinear form for a variable-coefficient Kadomtsev Petviashvili-typed equation. Based on the bilinear form, we obtain the Wronskian determinant solution, which is proved to be indeed an exact solution of this equation through the Wronskian technique. In addition, we testify that this equation can be reduced to a Jacobi identity by considering its solution as a Grammian determinant by means of Pfaffian derivative formulae.
