This study was suggested by previous work on the simulation of evolution equations with scale-dependent processes,e.g.,wave-propagation or heat-transfer,that are modeled by wave equations or heat equations.Here,we stu...This study was suggested by previous work on the simulation of evolution equations with scale-dependent processes,e.g.,wave-propagation or heat-transfer,that are modeled by wave equations or heat equations.Here,we study both parabolic and hyperbolic equations.We focus on ADI (alternating direction implicit) methods and LOD (locally one-dimensional) methods,which are standard splitting methods of lower order,e.g.second-order.Our aim is to develop higher-order ADI methods,which are performed by Richardson extrapolation,Crank-Nicolson methods and higher-order LOD methods,based on locally higher-order methods.We discuss the new theoretical results of the stability and consistency of the ADI methods.The main idea is to apply a higher- order time discretization and combine it with the ADI methods.We also discuss the dis- cretization and splitting methods for first-order and second-order evolution equations. The stability analysis is given for the ADI method for first-order time derivatives and for the LOD (locally one-dimensional) methods for second-order time derivatives.The higher-order methods are unconditionally stable.Some numerical experiments verify our results.展开更多

In our model, two parameters to de...Evolutionary game dynamics in finite size populations can be described by a fitness-dependent Wright- Fisher process. We consider symmetric 2×2 games in a well-mixed population. In our model, two parameters to describe the level of player's rationality and noise intensity in environment are introduced. In contrast with the fixation probability method that used in a noiseless case, the introducing of the noise intensity parameter makes the process an ergodic Markov process and based on the limit distribution of the process, we can analysis the evolutionary stable strategy (ESS) of the games. We illustrate the effects of the two parameters on the ESS of games using the Prisoner's dilemma games (PDG) and the snowdrift games (SG). We also compare the ESS of our model with that of the replicator dynamics in infinite size populations. The results are determined by simulation experiments.展开更多

The results of experimental research of multi-injector combustors in the regime of the attached pipe are presented.As a source of high-enthalpy working gas (air), hot shot wind tunnel IT-302M of ITAM, the Siberian Bra...The results of experimental research of multi-injector combustors in the regime of the attached pipe are presented.As a source of high-enthalpy working gas (air), hot shot wind tunnel IT-302M of ITAM, the Siberian Branch ofthe Russian Academy of Sciences was used. Tests have been carried out at Mach numbers 3,4 and 5, in a range ofchange of total temperature from 2000K up to 3000K and static pressure from 0.08MPa up to 0.23MPa. Injectorsection has been manufactured in two versions with a various relative height of wedge-shaped injectors with parallelfuel injection. Influence of conditions on the entrance of the combustion chamber on ignition and a stablecombustion of hydrogen was investigated. Intensive combustion of hydrogen has been received only at Machnumbers 3 and 4. Advantage of injector section with the greater relative height of injectors is revealed. Themechanism of fuel ignition in the combustion chamber of the given configuration was investigated: two-step ignitionprocess including 'kindling' and intensive combustion over all channel volume.展开更多
